Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

I was so looking forward to this. At first, it was all right- I even preferred this over Maybelline's pink mascara. But after few applications - I began to notice the weird smell it has.- Not to mention the clumpy formula sticking my eye lashes together. I may be wrong but I thought it was creating volume through sticking eye lashes together. Overall, it was just not the right product for me. It may work for people with fewer lashes.

I love this mascara! It always makes my eyelashes so long and full looking. Mascara will never compare to false lashes, but this is as good as it gets for a supermarket brought product imo.

This mascara makes my eye lashes look big bold nd beautiful resulting in a positive and confident feeling when i go out! Would so recomend this to anyone interested in purchasing mascara!! Though somtimes will rub off easier than hoped

I got this mascara for my birthday and it is so good. It doesnt smear everywhere and it makes your eyes look soo pretty

This in my opinion is Maybelline's best mascara. My eye lashes aren't too short but they do get light at the end giving the affect that they are short and stubby. This mascara makes them look twice as long and really thick, making your eyes look bright, big and stand out. It's a reasonable price for a mascara usually around $30.00 but sometimes you can get for $20-25 on sale.

This is my all time favourite because it is the only mascara that I can find that is 100% waterproof. I'm a swimming teacher, I don't normally wear a face of makeup to work except on the days where I have uni beforehand. Now I don't want to be teaching and having black running down my cheeks.

This is literally the ONLY mascara I have that is completely water resistant and looks amazing. It keeps my lashes looking thick and black and doesn't melt off in the pool. I've even tried other Maybelline mascaras (including Falsies and Mega Plush) and they don't match up to this one.

I have tried other waterproof mascaras and while they don't melt, they do flake off and you're left with black flakes on your cheeks.

So, its completely waterproof.. this does make it hard to remove, you'll need a decent make-up remover, but I find I can get it off with a make-up wipe. I, personally, am not bothered by this because it does exactly what I want it to do, I do know they offer the same mascara in a non-waterproof formula if that's more your thing. Although, I find a waterproof formula holds a curl better, and is more build-able if you want super thick lashes.

I will definitely be re-purchasing. They sell it at my local Countdown too which is extra handy. So if you're looking for a mascara that does the job, and will stay on through tears, rain, exercise and swimming.. THIS IS IT.

I used this mascara for well over a year, didn't really notice my lashes looking collosal though. I have moved on to a new mascara now that it has run out. It doesn't clump, it's easy to apply, it does make the lashes look longer but I have found better mascaras that create a longer look like They're Real by Benefit.

I absolutely love this mascara, I started using this Maybelline mascara a few months ago and it's fabulous! It makes my lashes look long and luscious, it doesn't smudge or rub off easily like other products. The best thing is for a night out you can add a few more coats for even more gorgeous lashes without clumping, definitely the best mascara I've used in a long time, I will continue to use it on a daily basis

I love this mascara. I only get half way through a bottle before it starts to do that clumpy thing but that doesn't put me of. Last all day but comes of easily with makeup remover. You can change the look of your lashes by using more or less coats. Can get on sale for around $15 so it is definitely value for money

I got this online and sorry to say it does not give "9x" the volume if you want a satisfying result you need to keep applying more coats I have tried other varieties of this brand and been happier with them but this is a good product it does give nice volume and length. For the price above I would buy another type though. The one I have is glam brown the packaging is good like the others from the brand so you can mix up the lids and brushes I only paid $5 for mine in an online deal so I am happy but for me the results on my lashes but I think the claims are not true and you can get equal results or better with some of the variety from the same brand of mascaras
