Maybelline Volume Express Mascara - Falsies Flared

I have dull, short brown lashes that are so short that they just don't stand out like those lucky girls with the doll lashes, so I try a lot of different mascaras claiming they can either grow/thicken/lengthen my lashes to look runway-worthy. I found my mascara! This is amazing. I take it with me in my handbag, its attractive in its cute purple tube with bold writing. It doesn't clump, it thickens! I have a noticeable difference on application :) the down side is that after 3 - 4 weeks of having this product, the brush seems to gather the liquid all at the top and not the whole way down. this can be remidied by cleaning the brush and starting again. It is a little tough to remove but I admire that because it shows it has great durability. It lasts all day and I think its a steal for the price its advertised (under $30! :o )

The packaging of this mascara caught my eye as well as the reasonable price tag so I purchased it from Farmers on a sale for $22.95

I really like the shape of the wand as it helps spread the mascara on all my lashes with a couple of sweeps. I always get black and this is a lovely rich black that has wonderful coverage of each lash and really does lengthen and thicken the lashes.

I've been asked a few times while wearing this mascara if I have lash extensions too!

Only down side is its really hard to remove! I have to use a eye makeup remover first and then face wash on top of that.

My absolute favourite mascara! It doesn't clump and give my eyelashes the spiderweb effect, and it thickens them fantastically as well as accentuates the length I already have. I find I never have to use a lash curler before applying this mascara as well, one of my eyes has straighter lashes than the other and they always end up looking even.

I have been using this mascara for over a year now. Makes my lashes look like they have so much volume and slightly lengthens them, I have very short lashes so most mascara doesn't make much of a difference. However this is now my volumising holy grail :) I always curl my lashes before apply mascara and find that this product does keep the curl stay for longer aswell

I needed a new mascara and spotted this on sale, decided to give it a go as i've had only good experiences with maybelline mascaras and the good experience continues. This mascara delivers what it promises 300% more visable lashes, yip sure does with 2-3 coats although any more than 3 coats and it starts getting cakey (not that i need more than 3 coats anyhow.)

The consistency of this formula is pretty much how I would want it, not too thick or thin it's easy to work with combined with the large curved applicator wand. The applicator brush curls & flares the lashes with ease and the curl holds up pretty well throughout the day. I tend to get some flaking after several hours wear but this is minimal and towards the end of the day when i'm about ready to remove it.

My lashes are on the shorter and finer side and this mascara definately gives me the falsies effect, results amplified with the use of the lash curler and lash primer prior to mascara application.

This mascara doesn't particuarly stand out to me from the rest as being exceptional but it's definately a goodie and the price is fair for what you get with this.

I got this from a discount website after reading reviews on BR and am very happy with it. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it really goes add volume and length with only one coat. I wear one coat at work on during the day on the weekend but to get an even better effect I apply a couple of coats if I'm going out at night and it really makes my lashes pop.

This actually was never a product that interested me, and it was only when i was at a makeup sale and started talking to a girl who, like me was digging through bins on makeup, when she swore by Maybelline Falsies, saying it was the best mascara she had ever used, and showed my her eyelashes to prove her point.

I was sold.

I brought one mascara and i think it costed around $9 or $10 which i think is very affordable.

This mascara is quite fun and i just judge that from the magenta purple packaging which is embellished by blue metallic writing.

The wand on this mascara is a brush which has a unique curve to. The formula of the mascara seemed nice aswell, its the blackest black (my favourite), and is a nice consistency, not to thin or thick.

I found this applied amazingly to my eyelashes, it coated them evenly, and did give them a fake eyelash look. As for the flared aspect? I dont think it flared my eyelashes out, because they didnt get that winged look, but they did look fuller and thicker.

One downside to this mascara is it did nothing for defining my eyelashes, even though is says it does separate my lashes, i found it wasn't as effective at doing this.

Another downside to this product was that it dried up really fast. In saying this, i did buy it from a big bucket sale, so it could have been an older product.

Overall, im pretty impressed with this product and it is one of my favourite 'drugstore' mascaras's.

Like any other Maybelline mascara, I like this mascara. Good formula, easy to apply, helps my lashes look fantastic, curly, beautiful length, great volume. It is super affordable and delivers great results.

I really like this mascara because it doesn't clump and lasts long and looks really good. If I want a quick mascara to use. I just go to this because it's easy to apply and doesn't take ages and adds alot of volume. It's also good if you want to add false lashes after applying. I have had 3 of these and I really love it. Everyone should try this. It's amazing !

I'll admit it - I was first drawn to the product because of it's purple packaging (I'm a sucker for purple stuff ...) upon closer inspection I saw the name 'Falsies' and thought, 'Well I do suck at putting on false lashes. This seems like a bit of me!'

Best. Impulse. Buy. Ever.

I've never tried any high-end mascaras, I'll be honest, but what I can tell you is that I have re-purchased Falsies Flared about three times. I personally believe that this is the best drugstore mascara available.

The pigmentation of the black is so fantastic that I use the wand to tightline at the same time, and I finish up by separating my lashes with a lash comb.

This mascara makes my short stubby lashes look full and voluminous. love, Love, LOVE!
