Maybelline Volume Express Mascara - Falsies Flared

I LOVE Maybelline mascara. Their products are my go-to, but this one left me very disappointed and sad.

The product definitely does give you amazing length, and made my eyelashes look stunning, but it doesn't stay on. By the end of the day only a few lashes had maintained their original glory. Also, it comes off in clumps! Never have I had this experience before where it was like I had liquid latex type texture coming off my eyelashes!

Nothing I did would make it stay, and I must say this product has made me think twice about staying with Maybelline, which is really sad for me. Unfortunately this is the worst product of theirs that i have tried.

This product is ok not a big fan of the brush and it seems to clump on my lashes even with not a hell of a lot on I would wear it around home but not anywhere else

I bought this based on the hype, however I wasn't personally thrilled with it. For me, I found the brush a little too clumpy. I tend to prefer comb styled brushes and also straight brushes so this just didn't work for me. My lashes easily clump so I have to be very wary about what I use.

It definitely had enough volume, and I love the fact that it has the curve in the brush to help keep the curl to the lashes (again, a design I personally do not like for my lashes but love how it works regardless). The waterproof version of this is an amazing formula, which really does stay stuck to the lashes all day with no crumbly bits.

I feel like it is quite overpriced, at $27.95, so probably will not purchase this one. However for someone who loves loads of lashes, say go for it!

I thought this would be a fantastic mascara but I was disappointed, it didn't go on well, I had to keep reapplying, it was also a bit clumpy and didn't seem to make much difference, definitely not 300% more lashes more like 30% I'm sorry to say I was disappointed and it cost quite a lot.

I like the length this product gives me and it does give my eyelashes some flare, however i find this mascara flacks off during the day leaving the residue on my cheeks.

This was the first time i've just a Mascara with a curved wand so i'm quite happy to admit to the fact it could be user error. I wasn't really sure which way to use it so the whole experience was a bit odd, i've persevered with it though but it just didn't get any better for me. This is a Mascara that definitely builds on itself so 2-3 coats minimum is necessary which I guess I would do normally anyhow. I also found it abit smudgy. I did warm to it after a week, but not enough to keep using it, i've put it aside and gone back to my old fav. I guess it's all about finding the product that's right for you.

When I first brought this I brought two tubes after hearing such great things about it. But when I tried it it did nothing for me, which was annoying after buying two full tubes!

I left this for over a year before pulling out the other tube and giving it a go. After pulling out the wand I gave it a quick blow all the way around to make the formula a little more tacky, and boy does it make this mascara way better! I didn't like how thin the formula was and how it would transfer from my lashes to my brow bone but after blowing on the wand this dramatically decreased.

It's no where near my favourite mascara for giving bold false looking lashes, but it's a cheapish mascara that does an alright job.

I have the waterproof mascara and it is OK. The wand is very flexible and it becomes really clumpy. It's waterproof too so can be a mission to take off. I prefer the Great Lash

An alright mascara, not a huge fan but I have used it a couple of times. It just didn't work for me. The brush was weirdly shaped and it just made the application (for me) quite messy. I felt that it also took forever to dry so it kept transferring onto my eye lids even a couple of minutes after I had applied it..
