Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Review

I am a big fan of maybelline mascaras and although this is not my favourite (I still love falsies) I still like this mascara. This mascara gives great volume to your lashes as well as lengthen them. This mascara is also black, and I mean jet black, so it definitely gives you bold looking lashes.

When I first used this mascara I thought the brush was a weird shape and I found it awkward to apply. This was because there are three sides to the brush (almost like a triangular shape) and I was unsure about how to hold the brush. I have know gotten used to the brush and have learnt how to use the brush, through experimenting, and know I find it easier to use. I find I get good results when I don't have a lot of product on the brush, otherwise it can clump easily, and then hold one edge of the triangular side to use on my lashes.

The formula of this mascara is really nice and smooth. This makes it easy to apply to your lashes, and is less likely to clump. The brush itself is made of rubber and is very flexible. This makes it easy to coat every lash and get close to you lash line. The brush head itself is made of bristles which gives your lashes lots of volume.

Overall, I like the volume this mascara gives my lashes and although it is not the best mascara I have used I would purchase it again.

I'm not too fond of the bendy brush I feel it limits the effectiveness of the mascara :( I the formula was great for a start but it became clumpy and messy in a very short amount of time. It's a great concept but they need to do a remodel of the product in this case. I find that it lacks the "plush" that gives it its name :( probably one of my least favourite maybelline products.

At first i liked this mascara but over time it seemed to clump my lashes and i had to use a comb to get the extra product out. Also i didn't like the bendy brush. However i did like the formula as it didn't make my lashes feel hard and it wasn't flaky.

found this mascara to be quite average, great for a natural look ideal for school which i use it for. lacks volume!

Maybelline mascaras are my favourite to buy. So when this came out I had to try it. The formula of this product went on smoothly and did give me some volume. But with the brush being bendy I found it really hard to coat all the lashes properly and I really didn't like it flexing I felt it didn't give me more volume as it would if it was still. Wouldn't buy this again as a bendy brush isn't my thing.

I have been using this for a few weeks now and while i like it and it does the job it lacks any real volume to my lashes and i find the brush a little to bulky. Its hard to get to those tiny lashes in the corner of my eye with out getting it on my skin. The formula is a little too think i find as well. It is very dark and makes my lashes stand out more than they do naturally. I usually like Maybelline products and the colour of the packaging is lovely but I wont repurchase this to be honest and as soon as i get a different one i will stop using it.

I ve recently been using this mascara and found it to work great. I love the brush it doesn't make my eye lashes look all spidery like some mascaras do. I've just purchased a new mascara as I'm still on the hunt for the perfect mascara, it's proving to be very difficult.

i like the formula on this one but the brush was so annoying. the brush just seemed too big and it had that stupid bendy part otherwise good
