Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Review

I normally steer clear of huge brushes as I am prone to clumps, however this one isn't bad at all. The gel formula is noticeably different from regular mascaras as it keeps the lashes flexible and not spidery.

It gave me enough volume and a good amount of length quite easily, but maybe a bit too much volume for my liking!

I had great expectations of this mascara as usually Maybelline hits gold with mascaras, but I was really disappointed with this one. I found it extremely hard to apply because of its really spring like and flimsy brush. Its quite a wet formula which makes it really hard to build up layers. After about an hour or so. I find i have black smudges all around my eyes from where my lashes have touched my skin. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone! Try a different type of Maybelline mascara :-)

After having this mascara for around 2-3 months, i have decided to change my review as i have think my view on this mascara has changed as time has gone on. I got this mascara as so many people were saying how good it was etc. It doesn't clump up like most mascaras and gives you really long lashes and quite a lot of volume , i had never used a flexy brush before and at first i liked the brush but now i don't really like the brush. It does any okay job on the top lashes but i find it so hard to get my bottom lashes with out getting mascara every where! Now it has come up around 3 months i have started getting black marks under my eyes which i think is a sign i need to change the mascara but before that i never got black marks underneath my eyes. I really don't like the brush but if they changed that id defiantly buy it again , that is the only thing that puts me off buying it again.

I brought this mascara thinking that it would make my lashes look great judging my the title of it. It did nothing for my lashes and left horrible black marks around my eyes throughout the day. Would not recommend it to anyone.

This mascara does not really deliver what it says it would. The formula itself is not too special. The brush is ok but I am not too much of a fan of the fact that its a flexy brush. It does give me a bit of length but it does not give a lot of volume. It says that it leaves the lashes soft after application but I found that it felt like any other mascara after it dried. I dont think I would repurchase this Maybelline mascara :)

I haven't ever been a fan of Maybelline's mascaras, but this one is actually ok. I bought it since there was so much hype about it. I'm a fan of the brush, not so keen on how the wand flex's though. I didn't notice anything amazing about the formula, but when applied it was clump free. Lengthens and adds a bit of volume. Still undecided on if I would repurchase this.

This mascara is not for me. I did not like it, I found it did not give me much volume and found the brush hard to use...It felt like I didn't have much control. I won it in a competition but would never pay that price for it. I preferrer other maybelline mascaras such as the falsies one.

This is not the right kind for me as I've got fine tiny lashes and this mascara doesn't give the desired volume and length.You need to apply multiple coats in order to achieve a better look.The wand is a bit flimsy and the formula is not thick enough.I wouldn't recommend it for someone with short lashes.

I absolutely love this mascara, the brush not so much though, i find it doesn't make my lashes look that long and it clumps them together, so i swapped the brush with the colossal arched brush.

i use this daily leaves my eyelashes looking natural no clumping and not to full on. i prefer the natural eyelash look however so does wonders for my eyelashes. i also find it easy to remove when taking of make up.
