Just like the brow definer i really liked this! Will be using on myself once my brows have healed from being microbladed but loved using it on others. Colour was a good cool medium brown & I used the pomade to fill in the brows with an angle brush after defining & outlining with the definer crayon. A little bit went really far.

Tips: Use a good sharp angle brush for application.
So I know there are a lot of ladies out there (like me) who don't have amazing shape brows from getting them over plucked but this product will be your friend. It is definately the cutest pomade out I've ever used and looks really great on my dresser. You only need the smallest amount as it's very pigmented and creamy and a little bit goes far This is great for someone who likes a soft natural finish or someone who likes the look of definition and boldness. The ponade stayed really well throughout the day but does smudge slightly if you touch it. Fabulous price point for the amount of product you get and I would definately recommend this to others.
Tips: Use a good angled brush to get the best finish and brush brows after to make sure you have an even application through the hairs. Dip the brush in and wipe the excess off on the back of your hand before you start applying to the brows as it is always better to build up the colour than have to remove colour.
I love this pomade and use it frequently. I have the shade Caramel which is a medium brown. The packaging is beautiful and looks a bit like a diamond. I always like pretty packaging as it looks nice on my vanity.
It doesn't come with a brush, so if you're planning on buying this make sure you have a small angled brush and a spoolie (an old mascara wand will do!).
The formula is very creamy and soft so a little goes a long way. It's nice and buildable too and I find it easy to give the brow a gradient effect. Since it is so soft it is easy to fix any spots where you accidentally deposit too much pigment - just brush your spoolie through the brow and you're good to go! I've never had any issues with smudging or fading - my brows always look just as good after a full day of wear.
The only real negative about this pomade is that it has a fairly strong smell that reminds me of crayons - not very pleasant but I can't smell it when I'm wearing it.
Tips: For best results, use a light hand with this pomade! It's very pigmented so if you're not careful you'll end up with overly harsh brows.
This product comes in a cute little pot that is easy to keep in your makeup bag. Not that you need touch ups as it is a great long lasting formula. The colour caramel was the perfect shade for me and was more light ash brown on application. It states that it is a creamy gel formula which is true but I did find it quite dry. I found that I needed to work quite quickly with application as it dried so fast... I used a good angle brush and a light hand to apply. I brushed through immediately with a spoolie. Overall I loved the finish and my brows look very natural given the cool tone of the shade. I would definitely recommend this to others but be aware that you need to have a fast precise application.
Tips: You can clean up underneath using concealer if you want a really sharp precise look.
My knowledge of Mellow extends to the fabulous Lip Paint I received in a BBBE. I've been meaning to try more from the brand and after this trial - I've already bought more.
Ok, that opener was a spoiler. I LOVE this Brow Pomade. My brows are my thing. I like a strong, natural brow.
We were sent the shade Caramel - which is a bit light for me, but great for adding some natural 'browlights' as I like to call them.
It's super creamy and soft, and blends like a dream. You only need to lightly dab an angled brush in, before applying in soft strokes. Brush with a spoolie to feather and blend.
This wee pot will last ages. I love that its Cruelty Free and an NZ company.
I've actually already repurchased in the darkest shade, and the caramel will be in my kit for clients!
I picked this beauty up in the last beauty vault . This is my first time using this brand before. I wasn’t sure if that shade would match my skin or not .
Packaging comes in a clear glass jar uniquely shaped . Has the mellow gold labelling on the lid. Consistency is creamy smooth soft finish . I like to use my dual end brush with spoolie.
Application seems to spread out evenly. Very pigmented a little goes a long way . I can do an eight hour shift and brows can last the whole time .
Overall I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is . I can see myself purchasing this again in the near future .
I picked this gorgeous looking product from a beauty vault a while ago. The pottle reminds me of a gem! It was the first time trying a brow pomade, I've always used pencils/crayon textures so this was all new to me.
The colour was the perfect shade and at first the texture of the pomade was very easy to use - it was creamy and smooth, applied easily. But not long of using it, probably two weeks in, it became quite dense and hard to apply to my brush and brow.
Unfortunately I didn't bother with trying to work out what the problem was and threw it away. I'm guessing that like a mascara, too much air got in and became clumpy. I'll be sticking with my pencils and crayons!
This pomade went off to a great start! Went on easy, colour was great and blended nicely. I am still using my first one, as it seems to last for ages. Mellow have a great range of colours to match, which mine is almost 100% spot on. They stay nice during the day and don't clump or crumble. I would highly recommend this product as the product is great and the price is also good.
Tips: Make sure you have a good brush to paint them on :)
I did not notice that as the hours went on any fade to the colour on my eye brows with this eye brow pomade. I haven't tried many pomade type formulas so it's not super easy to give a great description but this glided on easily wasn't clumpy or very sticky and didn't feel too heavy or itch my face. It didn't get all dry or dry out so it keeps well and is long lasting. Sort of reminded me of chi chi brow pomade. I liked that this didn't get lumps or flake off. The lid seems fairy sturdy it hasn't opened itself on traveling in my hand bag. I believe I got this row product several years back from the beauty vault. Mellow seed to be a new company then and I've only heard good things about since. It comes in a pot so you do need your own applicator but I guess you could try to do a winged eyeliner with it if you wanted. I haven't tried this but it's an idea if your into multi use things. What appeals to many people is this brand claims to be vegan, paraben free and not tested on animals but they do sell to Asia. They stock mellow cosmetics at Farmers. I think this pomade comes in 6 shades. I am not sure if this is a "high end" cosmetic but they appear to be. I think I would try this again but right now I'm.into temporary tints and tattoo brows for something a bit more permanent.
Beautiful Results! This creamy, rich textured pomade not only applies well but lasts all day! There’s no need to use much as ‘a little goes a long way!’ Depending on how you like your brows to look you can get both a more natural or defined look... just build it up! You may be lucky enough to have naturally beautiful thick brows... or you may have hacked at them when it was the trend... but don’t worry... this pomade can aid in giving you the (temporary) brows you miss! The dainty diamond shape pomade packaging makes it portable and perfect for anyone’s makeup bag!
Tips: •To get a more defined brow, apply concealer around the whole brow top and bottom and blend. •To break up the front of your brows so they don’t look blocked, use a brow comb in a zig-zag upward motion.
