Tips: Don’t use to much or your hair will look awfully oily
I straighten my hair maybe 1-2x a week and blowdry most evenings. I would describe my hair as dry - especially at the ends and I can get oily roots - especially if my hormones are going crazy. So I purchased this to use as a smoothing oil and to help lock in moisture pretty much.
I brought a 50ml bottle of this so the bank account didn't notice the damage too much. It's still quite expensive for the amount you get but it does work.
It has a light scent and a slight golden tinge to it. It's quite a thick oil.. I have a few other hair oils and it's definitely the thickest of them all.
I always use this after straightening my hair - I use the tiniest amount and warm it between my hands and rub it through the ends of my hair. I never go high.
It smooths and brings out the shine in my hair along with helping it feel tamed.
It's a shame it is so expensive but I guess there's quite a process involved in making this. I do get similar results from my L'Oréal and Schwarzkopf oils also which I love.. so if you are after similar products without the price tag have a look around. Ingredients differ and I'm guessing so do perhaps some of the benefits but in terms of taming and smoothing I've had some great results from a few products.
I bleach my hair often, so this oil is perfect for giving my hair its soft feel back, as well as taming the 'bleach-look-frizz'. After coloring hair it always feels dry and has that "fried" feel too, which I do not like so this oil is great. The smell is also a plus, and makes my hair look a little more healthier.
Tips: You only need a small amount on hair, so the bottle lasts a while.
Excellent product love the way it leaves your hair feeling nourished and healthy. Its good to use before you straighten your hair, leaves it shiny.
Tips: You only need to use a small amount it spread really well.
This is a great hair oil for my hair when my hair is feeling distressed. It feels lovely and adds shine to my hair. I haven't noticed it healing my hair or split ends but it definitely smells good and adds great shine to my locks. However I don't purchase this all the time as it is quite pricey.
I had heard great things about Moroccanoil, but sadly I found this product to be awful for my hair! It left it feeling greasy and thin, and I needed to wash my hair sooner than normal as a result.
Tips: Don't.
I love Moroccan oil. It smells so yum! And makes my hair (and skin) feel great. I'm really glad the new bottles come with a pump as prior to the pump, it did get a wee bit messy applying. Great product
Tips: Look around online for good deals as quite expensive buying from salon
Used this when it first came out and while it did help my hair, I had to wash my hair far more frequently as it made it heavy and greasy. Perhaps what it needed really but not conducive to a quick morning routine!
Tips: Tiny bit goes a long way - but it also feels great on the skin!
I like this product, its a bit thicker feeling than some other hair oils and feels like it does a better job with my very thick hair (both volume thick and individual strand thick) I wash my hair and partially blowdry it then add a little bit and then fully dry, or alternatively I add some at the end. It dosnt leave my hair with an oily look and 'brightens' the colour (natural ginger) and I love the scent of it, its not too in-your-face or floral. but enough for people to compliment my hair smells nice if I walk past :P
On blondes this works insane, a little goes a long way a a pea size for short to medium hair I use a small coin size for medium to long hair. I find it leaves the hair so shiny and healthy looking and nourishes plus actually helps the hair growth. When i use this product my hair actually grows and my hair usually grows very slow. The smell of the product it almost like a beautiful caramel smell. Doesnt weigh the hair down. Its abit pricey but worth it and the bottles last longer than you think. In my opionion best hair oil by far
Tips: Dont use heaps of pumps or your hair will look greasy
