MUM Dry Roll On Deodorant

Apart from this roll on having a wonderful smell, I really was pleasantly surprised at how much protection it offers. Whenever i am exercising or just being active i know that this product will keep me feeling dry and protected.

Mum dry isn’t the worst I have tried. Although I had to keep reapplying it throughout the day as the scent would disappear. I also found I was sweating just as much. I have sensitive skin and it didn’t irritate me so that’s a bonus.

I absolutely love this stuff but my local supermarket doesn’t seem to stock it anymore. The formula stops smell and sweat, it has a subtle not overpowering fragrance and it’s so cheap. I find the little bottle lasts ages as well and it’s screw top so when I’ve finished I was them and use as sunscreen applicators for the kids. I might have to hunt down online to buy more as I have another that works well but it’s more expensive and doesn’t last as long.

If you haven't tried to give this to teenagers, then u must know it's not very effective for that blissful teen B.O ha-ha. Although MUM roll Ons do smell very lovely and subtle. I do like to use from time to time to take me back. The "Baby blue mum' roll on is my fav.

Perfect size to throw in your purse.. smells devine, works and is usually on sale. Great little deodorant!

I grew up watching the "I can't survive without my Mum ads" and my own Mum used Mum.

These days it's hard to find, I had to drive to a supermarket in the CBD to get it and only a choice of pink or purple.

The smell is fresh and light and doesn't overpower perfume. The best part is it dries super fast which makes getting dressed easier as a busy "Mum"

The packaging is functional and hasn't changed since I was a kid. Trusty staple like a "Mum"

The purple Mum roll on scent is the scent of my high school years. It came in an aerosol spray too for a while. It did a decent enough job back then, but I bought it again recently for nostalgia's sake and found that the roll-on ball is a bit small for my liking these days. I must be less whiffy as an adult because I didn't need to reapply it like I did as a teenager. I probably won't replace it when it runs out, there's plenty of other deodorants to try.

But seriously, growing up the ads for this always mentioned 'I Can't Get By Without My Mum'. And for once the advertising was 100% true! This has been my go-to deodorant for so many years now it's actually hard to remember when I first started using it. Maybe when I was 14? 15? When puberty hit for sure. And I'm 99% sure it was the deodorant my mother would use too.

Over the years I've not noticed much of a change in the packaging, it's a simple tube, with a dome head, like a lot of deodorants. It used to come in a variety of scents, but these days there only seems to be two, the purple and the blue one, aka 'Active' and 'Shower Fresh'. Both are lightly scented, but I prefer 'Shower Fresh' as it's so subtle and doesn't interfere with any perfume I'm wearing.

Application is a simple swipe with the roller ball top, it dries super quickly, and I've never noticed any marks on black clothing. But does it do the job? Does it what! I had no idea how good it was until I started swimming with my daughter and would forget to reapply after the lesson. By 5pm I was pongy! Usually I don't notice any whiffiness from my pits, even the next day. This stuff is gold!

Affordable too, usually more affordable than other brands. As for other brands, I've tried them, but so often they sting, they don't work well, I don't like the scent and I always end up going back to my old favourite, because to be honest I can't get by without my Mum.
