Right, so, in the very end, after quite a bit of struggling, (and some tears,) it did what it was meant to.. However, in the process of getting there I find that the whole dramatic experience of running back and forth to the microwave to heat it up is just a hassle, so I'd recommend investing in a wax heater unless you can plug your microwave in right next to you. You have to be extremely quick once the wax dried to the right consistency, and it takes a few tries to get the hang of it so I wouldn't recommend this to a beginner. And if you let it over dry, well, that's just a horror story in itself. However, having said that, it has a nice smell, and if you can get the hang of how to use it effectively it'll will work brilliantly.

I have been self waxing for years and thought i would give Nads a go. After getting used to the stickiness of the wax and learning how to stop the stringy bits from going all over the place it worked quite well. It was painful but no more/less than any other wax I have used. My only disappointment is the short length of time the wax stays hot for..you have to be quick to wax!!
Tips: Work from top to bottom!
i had never waxed before using this Nads brazillian and bikini wax, so it was a new experience for me i guess you would say! I didn't exact understand the shapes, but hey everyone likes their own thing, no judgement at all. the melting was easy, but i found i did have to let it cool down as it was quite hot. The first time it hurt like hell, but then after that it was all that bad. the wax is okay to come off, all though there were many occasions when little bits wouldn't come off and they hurt more than anything else. but overall it did the job.
Tips: definitely use the strips afterwards as it gets rid of all the excess and stops ingrown hairs!
I hated this - found it really temperamental when heating it up to get it to the right consistency and it ended up not pulling off as it said it would. Maybe I didn't have the right technique but would 100% go to a salon over using this ever again!
I used this once - and once only. I bought it at the supermarket thinking I was gonig to be really smart and save a lot of money rather than going into the salon... turns out it should be left to the professionals!! I rushed home to melt it, hopped into the bathroom and followed all the instructions. It sets hard - like plastic!! I could not for the life of me rip it off, the corners kept on breaking off. The longer I left it, the harder it got!! I started panicing and got a bit sweaty which made it worse. In the end, I had to get scissors and VERY carefully pry inbetween and cut the wax off my skin, leaving a red sticky stubbly mess.
Tips: Go to a professional for anything 'down there'!
I bought it once and would never buy it again. The advertisement on the box was convincing and it made me believe the strips would work and support the waxing really well. When I opened the box I was disappointed, the strips were just paper, and could only be used one. The wax is surely hard, the instruction said it should not be left in the microwave more than 30 seconds but it took me nearly a minute to melt the wax.
Tips: Keeping the wax warm by putting the jar in a hot bowl of water
Almost impossible to get off your skin! and took forever to melt in the microwave wasnt a very even melting process either! some parts were boiling when others were still hard! Back to my waxer i go!!
Tips: Baby powder first!!
I bought this excited that I could finally get the salon wax finish at home using the templates but the results were disasterous! The templates are supposed to stick but dont and I found it near impossible to get the wax off my skin...ouch! Ended up with a botched wax...not sexy!
Im not a waxing expert. I probably shouldnt have got a home kit. It burnt, it hurt, it went everywhere and stuck to everything and left me a bit on the redder side off pink hahaha Id recommend skipping the home jobs and getting a professional to do it :)
I have used this for over 3 years. At first it is painful, from removing hair down there, obviously. After all these years, I am still using it despite how painful it can get just because it stays melted for awhile and removes hair which it promises. After all these years, it is still painful !
Tips: Use the little packet of oil/cloth they give you, because these babies help you to avoid little nasty ingrown hairs!
