I used this once - and once only. I bought it at the supermarket thinking I was gonig to be really smart and save a lot of money rather than going into the salon... turns out it should be left to the professionals!! I rushed home to melt it, hopped into the bathroom and followed all the instructions. It sets hard - like plastic!! I could not for the life of me rip it off, the corners kept on breaking off. The longer I left it, the harder it got!! I started panicing and got a bit sweaty which made it worse. In the end, I had to get scissors and VERY carefully pry inbetween and cut the wax off my skin, leaving a red sticky stubbly mess.

Tips: Go to a professional for anything 'down there'!
I bought it once and would never buy it again. The advertisement on the box was convincing and it made me believe the strips would work and support the waxing really well. When I opened the box I was disappointed, the strips were just paper, and could only be used one. The wax is surely hard, the instruction said it should not be left in the microwave more than 30 seconds but it took me nearly a minute to melt the wax.
Tips: Keeping the wax warm by putting the jar in a hot bowl of water
Almost impossible to get off your skin! and took forever to melt in the microwave wasnt a very even melting process either! some parts were boiling when others were still hard! Back to my waxer i go!!
Tips: Baby powder first!!
I bought this excited that I could finally get the salon wax finish at home using the templates but the results were disasterous! The templates are supposed to stick but dont and I found it near impossible to get the wax off my skin...ouch! Ended up with a botched wax...not sexy!
Im not a waxing expert. I probably shouldnt have got a home kit. It burnt, it hurt, it went everywhere and stuck to everything and left me a bit on the redder side off pink hahaha Id recommend skipping the home jobs and getting a professional to do it :)
WOW! When I used these it was certainly an experience and a half!
This was what I used the first time I ever had a brazillian wax. Well I say that but I think I only managed to get one small portion of hair out.
I found that it was just so paintful and difficult that it really isnt worth the time - smells pretty nice though!
It is really hard to keep it the right temperature - Can't be too hot or it will burn and then again it can't be too cold otherwise it wont work. This would be okay if it was just your legs or if you were home by yourself, but I was staying at my mothers and had to keep running out with a towel around my waist and putting it in the microwave! Then it would be too hot and I would have to wait for it to cool down. I ended up getting a heater and putting it close to me but it didn't work too well. The product itself also took a long time to melt properly and I found it didn't melt evenly.
You also need to make sure that you leave it on your skin for the right amount of time. No more no less. Too long and it sets like a hard plastic and is excruciating or too short and its a painful sticky mess. So finicky!
It was a particularly awkward and uncomfortable situation - and man it hurt!! If you are experienced then I think they would be okay.
The little shapes are a bit weird. They are stickers for you to wax around but they don't stick very well - you would need to have very short hair down there (think buzzcut) for it to stick or actually come out in that shape. As well as this who can wax so precisely while looking upside down with your legs all over the show?
Needless to say I raced to the supermarket to get depilatory cream.
Tips: Definitely use baby powder before hand to dry the area! Maybe get a bowl of hot water or something similar to rest the container in so it stays warm. Go to a professional! Its not worth the pain!
Waxing at home is always going to be more difficult and more painful than getting it done at a salon but this was terrible! The melting and cooling wasn't too annoying, we have a heater to keep wax melted and at a perfect temperature so that part was fine... Pulling it off was a completely different story. You have to wait until it has set to the perfect point, pull it too soon and wax will go everywhere, too late and it's solid and absolutely painful to pull off! if you can ace getting it just right, it works great. I personally have had better success with other waxes so I don't think I'll be rushing to use this again anytime soon and my downstairs thanks me for it!
Ok so I bought this once and its safe to say I would never buy it again. It hardly did anything that it said on the instructions on the box. The wax was really sticky so much that it made pulling off the wax really painful by ripping off some of my skin as well. Also the product takes ages to melt to the right consistency, doesn't spread easily and the wax hardens up really quickly. Would definitely not recommend this product
I would recommend this product to anyone who has had Brazilian waxing done professionally before and wants a cheaper and more private alternative. Love the mango scent. Of course it hurts but the results are so worth it! And the wipes are super soothing!
Tips: If you've never had a Brazilian, the roots are thicker so it will hurt too much to inflict upon yourself. As you wax long term, the hairs are finer and more scarce and you can definitely DIY your wax with this product.
I hated this - found it really temperamental when heating it up to get it to the right consistency and it ended up not pulling off as it said it would. Maybe I didn't have the right technique but would 100% go to a salon over using this ever again!
