Although this is a good product, i would definitely only recommend it to someone who has had a Brazilian enough times to know the technique required. A great product, just need a bit of skill and knowledge to get it perfect.

Tips: Have A Friend or Partner help you out =)
If you have a low pain threshold like myself, you may want to refrain from using this. I found the wax to be too thick, and it just felt like what I'd imagine having chewing gum stuck in your hairs down there would feel like. The only nice things about this wax are the subtle mango scent, and the fact you do not need wax strips. Definitely suggest getting waxed professionally, especially if you can't handle pain well.
TBH I probably wouldn't bother waxing myself at home its too messy and takes to long. However, I did use this product for a while, doing full bikini wax on myself and it is actually decent. I like how its the type where the wax hardens and you don't need strips. I think it is almost as good as the wax that is used by professionals but you need to know what you are doing.
Tips: You need to be careful with the amount you use in one area, too much and it won't harden enough to pull the hair our and too little it will break apart when trying to pull it off. Always put something down in the area you are working in or you will make a giant mess. You can use a towel but TBH I would use newspaper because you can just chuck it out after.
This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with waxing, and to make it worst I did it myself. The wax was inconsistent, horribly sticky, became far to hard when dry and ready to be removed, it would leave traces of wax behind and it felt like it was ripping my skin off along with it. NEVER AGAIN, I thought I would give it a go rather than go and get my usual Brazilian , the pain was horrible- it was like self torture :(:(:(.
Tips: DO NOT PURCHASE.....get a professional to do this for you
I thought this would be a cheaper alterntive, rather then going to get my usual brazilian. WORST DECISION EVER! it was hard to apply and the wax was not consistent it was exceptionally hard to use. And very painful. It was horrible, never again will i use it, that sort of waxing should be left to the professionals
Tips: DO NOT USE!! it is a bad product, see a professional instead.
I bought this product hoping I would be able to cut down on the expensive (student budget) trips to the salon for my usual Brazilian.
I have never minded the pain of waxing before so I thought doing it on myself would be absolutely fine (especially since I have waxed my legs fine before).
Firstly I microwaved it for slightly less than the time on the instructions at the correct wattage and it was wayyy too hot. It didn't burn but really hurt, and the wax didn't spread evenly, it just sat on my skin in globs.
When trying to remove the wax it was near impossible and caused me so much pain. I literally thought I was going to rip my hair off with the skin still attached.
I ended up not removing all the wax because it was far too painful and just spent a very long time using baby oil trying to remove the residue.
For me, it is much easier to stick to the salon and let the professionals do it.
Good lord did this stuff hurt!! I had such high hopes for this product and was really excited when I saw it available in nz stores. I thought I too was going to have a easy pain free experience but boy was I wrong.
This stuff hurt like no other and I found it very difficult to apply and pull off. I'm surprised this wax hurt so much as I've been waxing for years and I have such a high pain threshold when it comes to wax - I usually don't feel it.
Overall it was such an awful experience that I never want to repeat. The thing that sux is my friends and I were all meant to try this wax out but when they saw my painful experience they didn't give it a go themselves so I was the only one who had to suffer.
I tried this a few years ago and jeepers creepers. Never again. I felt like my skin was coming off with the wax. It was a horrible sticky mess. However... (Yes there is a silver lining) I have been using it on my eyebrows and find it brilliant. So much quicker and easier than plucking. I'm a mum of four and a farmer so getting to town to get my brows done just doesn't happen. So yes happy to use on my brows not so bikini!!
Tips: If you do try use it on your brows make sure your brows/ face is clean and free from any moisturisers etc as the hair doesn't stick to it so well. And make sure it's hot enough. Sticks to all the hairs better :)
I am not sure if it didn't work for me just because of my pain tolerance but I couldn't bring myself to properly rip off the wax so it was hard to remove once on. Not very handy I would say it would be far easier to just go to a beauty therapist even though it is much more expensive it's a lot more hassle free. It's also really hard to spread even after microwaving it! I was sceptical when buying this because I wasn't sure if I could handle it and I was right haha unless you have a very high pain tolerance I don't really know if this would work for you.
I actually got this product because I'm sick of messy wax strips. I think this product is great. HOWEVER, I actually use it for above my eye brows (when the wax is quite cool) and armpits. So much tidier to use. Seldom leaves wax on your skin and any wax remaining in your skin is not sticky and disgusting. Its one of my go to's.
Tips: Reheat when it starts getting sticky and hard to spread. Otherwise, the product just doesn't perform how it should.
