I tried using this product as a first time waxer, it was terrible. I opened the box and immediately the popsicle stick is broken. I then tried to heat it in the microwave for 1 minute, it didn’t melt it even a little bit. then I put it in again for another minute. Heated but really stretchy and sticky so I put it in for 40 more seconds. It was a good temperature but cooled down after like a minute. I applied it and pulled it off (which was not as painful as I thought, but I have nothing to compare it to) and 90% of the hairs were still there!! I gave up after a couple more tries and tried to take of the wax residue using the aftercare wipes which is basically a Kleenex with a small amount of oil in it which didn’t work at all. The only thing that worked was coconut oil and a flannel. I definitely do not recommend!!!!

Tips: Try a different brand
Another one where I got sucked into the advertising about how easy this is to use - not!!! It's super sticky, makes a huge mess and difficult to get off properly. No thank you - don't waste your money.
I found this was really annoying to use and unpractical. I probably wouldn't use again and it caused a-lot of pain due to wax getting stuck and not coming off with the wipes they provide in the box
I was gifted this and was excited to use, since I was paying to get waxed regularly I thought this would be a great money saver! I loved the smell of it, and it did get most of my hairs off. But I’m not sure there was anything else redeeming about this product unfortunately. It was difficult to heat to the right temperature where the wax would go on currently, but not burn your skin. Depending how much waxing you’d be doing you’d have to reheat it regularly to keep going. Even once dried completely on your skin it maybe has still too much softness to it, and didn’t always get all the hairs off. After a few attempts in the same area it would do well.
I actually found it the most useful for waxing between my eyebrows. But doing Brazilian or bikini waxing with this was very difficult. It would get stuck to places I didn’t intend because it’s so sticky.
Overall I found it useful to have to do my waxing at home, but I’m glad this was a gift because I wouldn’t buy it for myself.
This looked like it would be a winner. Unfortunately, this product was rather harsh on the skin. extra painful on pulling. difficult to get temperature right for it to be pliable enough to smear on but not too hot to scold the skin. Although I did love the convenience of not having to run around looking for cotton wax strips - it's all inclusive! A few adjustments in their formula and this could be a potential winner.
This is a terrible product - do not waste your money!!
I’ve been a home waxer on and off for years and have tried loads of different products but this has to be the worst by far.
Even using the guidelines on the packaging, getting the correct heating time is impossible - it’s either a solid clump or scolding. Even when you do finally get the wax to a useable temperature it doesn’t remove the hair or sticks to the skin and become impossible to remove.
Definitely not a wax I would use again
i would never use it again. while its cheap and smells really good it was maybe the most painful and messy thing ive ever done to myself
Wax has always been an issue for me and trying to use this was an issue.
The concept is awesome and it comes with these really cool shapes and designs that you can use but I couldn't even get a successful wax let alone try to make cool shape with Nads. Its smells really nice and the wax goes on nicely but trying to wax of my hairs never worked. The wax turned to like a hard gel form and would only remove about 30% of the hair that I had covered. I tried this many times and I failed every single time. This wax wasn't for me.
I can't believe I wasted money buying this product. I'm used to going to a beautician for this treatment, but thought I'd try a DIY kit, save a bit of money. How hard could it be, right? ?..wrong!
For starters, the instructions are way off for the amount of time to melt....it took what seems forever to get it right.
Then, it was sticky and messy.
Followed by a heap of awkwardness, and lots and lots of pain.
Its an experience I will not put myself through, no matter how much money I'd save. Its definitely back to the beauty therapist for me.
I usually use veet warm wax. Have done for YEARS. Love it.
Went to the pharmacy to get a prescription and thought ‘oh I’ll pick up some wax while I’m here’. But there was no Veet. Only Nads. I thought I’d give the bikini wax a go.
So got home, read the instructions. Put the product in the microwave for the recommended time and it came out as hard as it went in?
So heated it again and still - came out hard! So put it in for 3 minutes and saw it had melted in the middle. But the stuff is so solid and goopy you can’t just mix the melted stuff into the non melted. So had to heat it up AGAIN!
Once I had it to the consistency I thought it should be I trundled off to the en-suite to start.
Applied the wax to my ‘under carriage‘ waited a Minute and then tried to rip it off.
That’s when life got a little grim. I couldn’t even get a finger nail between my skin and the wax to lift up an edge to even try to rip it off.
I couldn’t even pinch the stuff off - and trying cause eye watering pain.
I even hopped in the shower to wash it of. Oh silly me. This sh!t was going no where.
So I did what any normal girl would do - I rang my husband - half crying / half laughing. (He wasn’t much help)
I sat on the edge of the bed and read reviews and tips online - all the while the nads was still applied.
Decided that I must not have applied a thick enough layer. standing in that bathroom - all panicky that I can’t get it off and contemplating adding another layer..... was I cray cray?
I decided I had nothing to lose. Added another thick layer - and whaddya know. It bloody came off! Not the hair mind you. Just the nads.
Did a little happy jig. Threw the rest of the Little in the bin. And lived happily ever after with the beloved Veet.
The end
Tips: Don’t bother. Save yourself the stress and the money.
