I have tried this a couple of times over the Years and each time has been a disaster! For one it seems as like the formula will never get to or stay how warm you need it.. Its either too hot or has gone way too hard to work with. Secondly, I don't think its just me but this product just doesn't seem to cut it in general? I have got quite handy at doing my own waxing and this product is impossible to get results with. I apply it and then end up squealing in pain and getting little to no results and a terrible build up of horrible wax.. I cant even comment on the stencils because I have never got that far.. And to be honest the stencils now that I am older totally do not appeal to me at all!

Tips: I think bikini waxing should be left to the professionals! There are some things you cant go past.. Like a decent Eyebrow threading.. I definitely think bikini waxing is one of those things!
I would not recommend this product to anyone and will never repurchase.
I found the wax just would not fully set (like my trusty Veet does) and this made it extremely painful when trying to remove the wax strip as the wax was still sticky. I found even when it did set it was stuck more to my skin then the hair...ouchy ouch ouch.
Doing the waxing yourself is always going to be a bit of a mission but this product does not help the situation. It is more expensive than Veet but far inferior in performance. My advice...give this one a pass (aka don't go near it)
Ok, I knew that waxing 'that' area was going to hurt but hoooooooooly cow.
First of all the consistency of this stuff is super, super thick. I thought this was a good sign as I assumed it would do a good job of removing the hair.
It did - BUT it also removed a few layers of skin - OWWWW. I was horrified - this stuff literally became stuck to my skin and ripped some skin off. I was left with a really unsightly and sore area. Not cool.
Prior to ripping my skin off, I had actually attempted to make the lightening stripe but it did not work AT ALL. The wax became stuck to the stencil and it just turned into a big mess.
I found the wax gluey and really messy to use. It got all over my hands and it was difficult to apply on the areas you wanted it to. Also, when it had dried to the consistency in which you could rip it off, I found it a little bit slippery so it was hard to pull off.
After I ripped my skin off, I ended up actually cutting the rest of the wax off and then pulling off the small pieces left.
I would absolutely NOT recommend ANYONE get this. It is a HUUUUGE waste of money and it really, really hurts. I hope that the skin coming off was due to human error as opposed to any issue with the product itself but that alone has made me never, ever use this again.
I have used other self waxes at home before and, yes they hurt, but nothing like this. I have also never used anything as difficult to apply and control or as messy as this before. This was a disappointment of epic proportions.
Tips: Either use a different product or get it done professionally.
If you want to use a wax, do not use this one.
My friend and I spent at least 2 hrs trying to make it work, but the hard wax was messy, sore and inconsistent in waxing. I know brazilians aren't meant to be the nicest feeling ever but this was ridiculous. Don't waste your money, go professional girls.
i would never use it again. while its cheap and smells really good it was maybe the most painful and messy thing ive ever done to myself
Wax has always been an issue for me and trying to use this was an issue.
The concept is awesome and it comes with these really cool shapes and designs that you can use but I couldn't even get a successful wax let alone try to make cool shape with Nads. Its smells really nice and the wax goes on nicely but trying to wax of my hairs never worked. The wax turned to like a hard gel form and would only remove about 30% of the hair that I had covered. I tried this many times and I failed every single time. This wax wasn't for me.
I can't believe I wasted money buying this product. I'm used to going to a beautician for this treatment, but thought I'd try a DIY kit, save a bit of money. How hard could it be, right? ?..wrong!
For starters, the instructions are way off for the amount of time to melt....it took what seems forever to get it right.
Then, it was sticky and messy.
Followed by a heap of awkwardness, and lots and lots of pain.
Its an experience I will not put myself through, no matter how much money I'd save. Its definitely back to the beauty therapist for me.
I bought this product on an impulse one day, thinking that I would be able to save money and time etc by doing it at home instead of going to my waxer. It was a total disaster, and I ended up having an emergency appointment with my waxer later in the day to fix me up! It took for ever to heat up and melt, and then cooled and thickened very quickly so had to keep reheating. It didn't rip off properly either... it sort of just stuck in the hair so I was left very sore and very sticky! The shapes were rubbish, they didn't stick AT ALL so were a total waste of time. I will never ever try a home Brazilian again!
Tips: Don't hurt yourself, go to a professional :-)
I actually won this (along with a bunch of other Nad's products) a while ago and was hesitant to try it. I've ever had a Brazilian or bikini wax before and certainly had never tried one on myself so I was nervous but decided to give it ago. It wasn't too hard to use, like anyone could do it but the results weren't too great. It didn't remove all of the hair, left my feeling icky and sticky and rather red/ irritated. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone as it is a waste of money and time. I personally stick to other hair removal techniques as this was not for me.
Tips: Save your money and get it done professionally.
The first time I used this product I thought I was going to die. After all the squealing, deep exhales and the sweatiness that only comes from true pain I shocked myself and kept using it.... So much so that 4 years later I still am. Don't get me wrong there are quite a few tricks that are only mastered with practice but I've found it has been worth it. The product does need to be reheated a couple of times during the process but it makes a huge difference to make sure you have the right consistency.
The templates are a bit of a fail, they don't stick firm, or to be fair are they in shapes most people are likely to use. The love heart seems extra unachievable haha
For the girls who are shy/on a budget I would recommend this product as long as you are willing to persevere.
Tips: Sooooo many! - Get extra popsicle sticks, the big ones are really good.
- Finding the perfect thickness is key! Getting a 2mm ish coating will save you from having it dry too quick and needing to pick off crunchy wax, as well as a too thick layer that stays gooey and messy.
- An old towel on the floor goes a long way to stop stray bits of wax from sticking any place you don't want it.
- if you have trouble 'getting an edge' to pull, you can flick an edge upwards with a clean popsicle stick, the wax does not stick to it while it does come away from your skin enough to get a good grip.
