I grew my hair out for 3 weeks for try this product and I was ready to use it. One strip works about twice but with all 20 strips, I wasn't able to remove all my leg hair and I had to shave the second half of my second leg. Waste of money, would rather use the microwaved wax or use the home-made sugaring way. (want to know home to make wax at home? reply to this review with 'yes please!' and I'll post about it and let you know:-) )

I've been using the Nads sensitive wax strips for literally years. It is far more cost effective than going to a salon for a wax (which I still do occasionally).
The soothing wipes are really lovely and gentle with a pleasant scent. They remove any excess wax that remains on your skin and I've been able to reuse them by storing them well as they contain a generous amount of oil.
The actual wax strips are easy to use, but it's far better to use them if you leave them for a minute in front of a heater or on a hot water bottle. This softens them up more effectively than rubbing them together between your hands.
Unfortunately I still get stubborn ingrown hairs as a result of waxing, but I think that is probably something I will always have to deal with.
I have found the wax strips to be easy to use on my bikini line, but seriously painful and messy on my underarms... maybe I am doing something wrong?
Tips: Heat them up with a hair dryer, hot water bottle, or in front of a heater!
They worked but were annoying to use. They left my armpits red for hours after and feel they wouldn't be the best for sensitive skin. Overall they aren't my first choice but they but they do work.
I was disappointed with these. I read the instructions carefully before using and followed them. The strips were difficult to seperate, as you seperate the strips, one strip would remove some of the wax from the other strip-therefore rendering said strip useless. It did remove some hair, but left the finish patchy. Bits of wax were also left on my skin afterwards for a few days.
These didn't work very well, not very " grippy" and didn't remove all my hair. Given the cost I expected more from them
I have very sensitive skin so when I heard there were wax strips by my fave brand of wax, especially for sensitive skin, I had to have! I would much rather do an at home wax job on all the 'intimate' bit than go pro because it saves my embarrassment. Nads has always been my fave brand of wax because it seems more skin friendly ingredients for my body. When I saw this was made of beeswax that made me want it even more! If there is a more natural product on the market that works I am in head first!
$18 for an at home wax kit, yes please! I was just more excited that perhaps I finally had in my hot hand the answer to no more irritations after waxing. I decided to try it out one night before a candle lit bath. Now first off I love that it has after care wipes and moisturizer to keep irritation (if any) to a minimum. It's great how the wipes come double sided. The wax is a pink colour. I rub the strips which feel a bit like fabric rather than waxy paper between my hands to warm it up and make it pliable. I smooth it on to my desired area and firmly push it in to place.
The strip actually is quite easy to apply to the curvy areas so it's not going to miss any. I hold the skin tight and pull of in a band aid way fast! I pull it in the opposite direction of the hair growth to get the best results. The problem is I don't think I let the hair grow long enough because the shorter coarse hairs were left behind. I had to shave the left over hairs to make it smooth....annoying! It didn't hurt me but then I have a high pain tolerance. I used the wipes afterward to clean up wax left on my skin. They are very helpful and soothing.
I waited for a good 8 weeks before I attempted this again to ensure that I had long enough hair for the wax to grab on to. I repeated the same process but this time with far more success than the first time. I have learned my lesson not to do it when it's too short. It lasts smooth for a good four weeks before you see any hair growth which for me is perfect. With shaving I was having to do it everyday to keep on top of the smooth feeling which just takes up far too much of my time. This was is way better and far more time manageable. I notice that my skin doesn't react to these wax strips like the other strips. I remain irritation free so I am happy! If you can tolerate pain and hate shaving give these a go!
Tips: Wait until the hair is long enough for the wax to grab if it's too short it may get left behind.
