As an avid nail art lover that never goes to the salon to go get their nails done, removing old chipped nailpolish is a necessary evil. I got this in a gift with purchase from Sally Hansen and thought it would be like dipping your nails in a full bottle of nailpolish remover which sounded super damaging. To my surprise, it's like a sponge well inside the bottle which you stick your finger in.
It felt really weird sticking my finger inside the sponge soaked with nailpolish remover. I left it like that for about 10 seconds, then twisted it a couple times to 'scrub' my nail with the sponge and pulled it out. Holy moly... my nail was bare. I couldn't believe such a weird contraption actually worked so well. It was honestly effortless removing my full hand of nailpolish. I could watch a video while sticking my fingers in this bottle and before I knew it all the old polish had been removed.
I've been using this for almost half a year now and it's still working its charm. A little slower than when I first got it but I think that's because the sponge is getting saturated with month old polish remnants. Not entirely sure how long this is supposed to last but for something that's only $12 this has performed way above my expectations. The only slight complaint is sometimes it doesn't get down to crevices on the very sides of my nails especially if I've glittery nails on. But I can just go in with a Q-tip afterwards.
I'll definitely be buying more of these!
I was dubious this would work, but it really does. Super easy to use, just poke your finger into the pot (it's got a sponge inside) and twist a little bit and remove again. Nail polish gone - not a trace. So easy and so quick. It doesn't dry out the skin either. The pottle seems to be lasting quite well, I'll definitely be replacing it when it runs out. If I could work out how to get my toes into it I'd never need to get normal bottles of nail polish remover ever again!
