Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat Review

I bought this amazing gel top coat along with a couple of gel colours and I will honestly say that it was the best thing I have done for my nails in a long time. You have to make sure you are picking the top coat as it is in a black bottle and you might mistake it for the black gel colour. After I have applied the gel colour and it has dried, I put a coat of the gel top coat on. The brush is the best I have ever used, it has a flat stem and a nice wide brush which applies the polish easily. It dries pretty quickley and leaves an awesome shine. If I am careful my polish will last a good week, which for me is fabulous.

I am a massive fan of this product. I abuse my nails daily and this product seals my nail polish in place. Leaves a beautiful glossy look and dries super fast no waiting around and chipping level is minimal. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a UV light free gel nail finish.

Getting this was a mistake, I got this in the Beauty review vault but I added this to my cart thinking it was a black nail polish, talk about doing things in a rush, I didn't want to miss out.

The Sally Hansen miracle gel bottles are so cute, I really like the packaging of the bottle, they are more stable compared to the cheap nail polish I own.

I like this brush, it is wide and flat, it adds a consistent amount of top coat on to your nails, and it gets the shop done so quickly and effectively. I am highly impressed how there is little to no scent with this range of nail polish and dry time is very quick.

I have a wide range of cheap nail polish that doesnt last very long but since I got this top coat it gives my nails a much longer wear time before they chip. Without the top coat my cheap nail polish would last a few hours to 1 day. Now it is prolonged to 3 day plus.

I highly recommend this top coat, It has been very handy to use, not to mention fast to apply and fast drying.

This is pretty near a miracle top coat: I chip nailpolish so quickly, no matter what type I use, and up until I got this I was just resigned to my polish only lasting a couple of days before I'd have to change it. Now, however, I can get up to a week out of an average polish, and if I use this in conjunction with the coloured Miracle Gel polishes, even longer than that.

The polish comes in a black glass bottle with a nice sized easy to grip top. The brush is quite wide and flat, which I love, as it means I can coat my nails in one or two strokes, and the polish is dispersed evenly and quickly.

While this isn't a quick-drying topcoat, it really doesn't take too long to dry. Natural light is best, as it cures the polish and ensures it will in fact last as long as it says. It leaves a super super glossy finish; definitely reminiscent of a 'proper' gel manicure, and stays glossy until it comes off.

When this does finally begin to show wear, it peels rather than chips off. However by the time it gets to that point I'm usually ready to change colours anyway, and it's very easily removable with normal nail polish remover.

Overall, I really love this top coat. It extends wear amazingly, can be used over any nail polish, and looks stunning and shiny. Love!

I do love this. I love the shape and feel of the bottle, it looks like it should be stupidly expensive just from the appearance. I still don't like the brush all that much, but the actual top coat makes up for that. It dries surprisingly quickly, and is one of the shiniest top coats I've ever used. I would say this helps me to get an extra couple of days out of my polish, so it's not miraculous in that sense, but it really does make my nails look gorgeous when I use it.

I'm a basic chick who doesn't normally have the full set for manicures however BR has changed thst for the better. Top coat arrrgh who needs it right? Wrong. I snatched this up in the beauty vault what another win win purchase. A black incased bottle with a white tipped handle. Almost tricking you into thinking it's a black polish. This is a gel effect top coat that doesn't need any lamps to cure. Wow right? The brush is a firm plastic wide tip that's not such a bristle type rather a flat tipped applicator that easily applies the coat onto the nails in one go. This brush type is so user friendly it also picks up alot of product so less is more. Once you apply this to your final coat of colour it works it's wonders immediately & your polish is dry in super fast time. So effective & efficient, such a good first time impression for someone who's never owned or personally used a top coat. I'll always go back to this topcoat from now on because of the lasting impression it's given me. The fact the less is more indicates how much use this wee bottle of magic has in it.

This prevents any chipping all I found is the colour peels of in one piece or snaps to peel of unevenly still this can all be done without any use of polish remover, probably not good practice. I did it though without any chipping effects. I believe the purchase of this has seen the days of visiting the local nail bar put on hold of it's pro performance.

This top coat is the only top coat I use. It comes in a blacked out bottle and the brush is flat and perfect and really coats the nail well. The best thing is that this doesn't require a UV light to set, it sets in natural day light. Seriously amazing.

The polish is clear, as most top coats are. I find this works best with the other Sally Hansen gel polishes, but you can also use this on other polishes and I have found it makes them last just that little bit longer.

I find that this polish doesn't chip either, rather it peels. It's slightly annoying but I'll get over it because it leaves my nails bright, shiny and with this top coat I find my nails have lasted almost 2 weeks without any chips/peeling. It's seriously amazing, and I'm not breaking up with it, ever!!

I love to wear nail polish, but don't have time to do my nails more than once a week, and need polish that can last a week without chipping (chipped nails looks really unprofessional at work). I also don't want to spend money on a salon or deal with fiddly at home UV lamps that are pretty expensive. Id tried other at home gel nail polish (I remember trying the Avon one), but other than a glossy finish they were no longer lasting than other polishes. I was pleasantly surprised with Sally Hansen's version. If you are careful and really follow the instructions (two coats of the colour base coat, letting it thoroughly dry between each coat), and then let the UV top coat dry in natural UV light (you need to actually let your nails dry in bright daylight, thought direct sunlight isn't necessary) it'll last a good 10 days - and I was not particularly careful with my nails (plenty of picking out staples and spiral binding at work). However, if you don't follow the process (for example, I tried drying the top coat in artificial light at night) the finish looks the same but isn't as long lasting. Still far and away the best at home gel nail polish I've ever tried!

I use this for my SH gel range but also my other nail polishes as I love the shine and it makes my polish last a couple of days longer.

I have only just started to get into Sally Hansen polishes because they aren't readily available in our small town farmers so have to travel or buy online. And I regret not buying them sooner they really are the bees knees. The top coat is the best out of the 3 different brands of top coats I own.

The brush is the same as the gel polishes it's flat with the corners rounded off making it very easy to apply. the bottle is sturdy and easy to hold

I love how this keeps my nail polish looking glossy and shiny and it definitely helps to prevent chipping. It also helps to dry your nail polish if it's still slightly wet. After using this I'm completely in love and wouldn't be able to be without it now.
