I bought this at Mecca in Auckland while purchasing the nars sheer glow foundation. I was matched with the colour "custard" and now I think I could have gone one shade lighter, it works perfectly with the sheer glow foundation but it doesn't really work with any of my other foundations. This colour is very natural so you don't get any brightness under the eyes, I use this concealer when I'm doing more "no makeup, makeup looks" it makes me look flawless, but I do prefer a bit of under eye highlight personally as I have very dark circles under my eyes and I find I can still see them a bit with this concealer. I love how creamy it is and the coverage, but I will for sure be investing in a lighter one ASAP!

This is hands down the best concealer I've ever used. The colour Chantilly matches me perfectly, and really brightens up my face. This concealer has really good coverage, it covers my undereye circles almost completely and works well on blemishes too. It's easy to blend out but does set quickly once you start blending so you have work relatively fast. I often use Nars creamy concealer on its own as its high coverage but also because it doesn't work well with all foundations. I've found it doesn't work particularly well with double wear bb cream. It works slightly better with Nars all day luminous weightless foundation and works nicely with bare minerals original foundation. Despite that it doesn't look good with all foundations, I still recommend Nars creamy concealer to anyone looking for an all purpose long wearing concealer.
Tips: Dab into the skin to blend rather than smearing and rubbing.
I'm not going to lie, I bought this because most of my favourite YouTubers absolutely raved about it. I ended up getting it in the shade vanilla, because I am pale. Thank you, Irish and German genetics. Thank you. Anyway, I tend to use this only to highlight along the cheekbone, between the eyebrows, down the bridge of the nose and on the chin. I find it a little too think to use under my eyes, and when I do it creases like a B****!! However, I will repurchase this because I do love the pigmentation and how well it blends out for a general highlight.
Tips: Avoid using under the eyes, great for highlighting though!! xxx
I had read so many reviews about this that I was really excited to try it - and I was not disappointed! I pair this with my Sheer Glow foundation and they work beautifully together. True to its name it is a thick creamy concealer and it is available in quite a few different shades - good for pale girls like me! I apply this under my eyes (where I'm beginning to get nasty little fine lines!) and into a triangle along my nose and up over my forehead to highlight. I love the fact that it doesn't build up in my under eye creases but I hate the fact that its so expensive because I for see myself going through a lot of these in he future! It has a lovely finish, blends well, doesn't crease and doesn't go blotchy even on my oil slick skin - its fab!
I finally got round to trying this product after a bunch of my friends and favorite youtubers raved over it. I thought it was a really good coverage highlighting concealer, however, no matter what I tried it always creased under my eyes. I tried applying it all different ways but it always creased. I have heard that for others it works perfectly though. Maybe its just my skin type. Other than that its a good product and not too expensive either.
This concealer just works! It's perfect for your under eyes and I use it for that purpose every day. It is very creamy and offers such good coverage but doesn't dry up and look cakey. It does crease but personally I haven't found a concealer that doesn't so in my experience this has been my favourite. Also the shade selection is decent.
Tips: -Set with powder using smalling flat top brush
Every time I see something raved about I always second guess it. Many questions come to mind and nowadays I like to let the hype settle down before purchasing new products especially if they are expensive products. The funny thing is that the hype didn't die down for the Nars creamy concealer. I had seen Sssamantha rave about this for so long and I had made this a priority on my want list. When I got to see this concealer in store and I was able to test it in the store, I couldn't get to the checkout quick enough. If you can take a second to think about how butter melts when you touch it? Imagine a concealer that does that also!
The applicator is quite stiff which I found different as all the other concealers have a flexible wand. A small amount of product goes a long way, 2 dots on each under eye area is enough to conceal and highlight your under eyes. And it really does highlight! The consistency is very thick, I would compare it to paint, and highly pigmented.
I was very impressed with the colour range for medium skin tones, there was so many that you need to be sure before you purchase. I had purchased custard and it is a shade to 2 shades lighter than my skin tone. I couldn't use it to concealer the rest of my face unless I was highlighting those areas so that was a bit disappointing.
I have found this to crease in the fine lines under my eyes, If I add a good amount of Bossy cosmetics Boudoir under eye melt to under my eyes first, it creates a barrier before applying the concealer on top. It helps A LOT. So if I need to use the Nars creamy concealer to hide my dark circles I need to apply the under eye melt first, then the Nars creamy concealer, and set it with a light dusting of loose powder. I also like to use this to add as an under brow high light, it tidies up my brow arches and gives them a gentle lift too.
The concealer lasts all day, normally my foundation has worn off but the concealed places are still going strong.
I will be repurchasing this again.
Tips: I use an under eye melt, Before applying the concealer and a loose powder over the top to prevents creasing.
Firstly I just wanna say that this cost me $50 not $30 like the RRP says on here.
This concealer comes in a large variety of shades, so you should be able to find a shade for you, and if you buy from Mecca Cosmetica then they will match it to your skin tone for you.
Nars Creamy Concealer is in a tube with a doe foot style applicator in the lid, which makes it really simple and comfortable to apply. The product itself feels really light and smooth on the skin, and blends really easily.
The coverage is excellent and also has a great brightening effect. I highly recommend this concealer.
Tips: Apply with the applicator and blend with a Beauty Blender or similar.
To start off, the shade range of this concealer is awesome. The shades go super light for all the pale goes, but also cater for all different undertones as well, which is great as I have trouble finding yellow toned concealers and foundations. It's a full coverage formula and quite a thick consistency. The only negative comment is that I actually find it to be a bit of a dry consistency when blending, so I have to put quite a bit of effort into blending it out under my eyes. The packaging is nice and simple and has a standard do foot applicator.
This was originally purchased with the intention to use it under my eyes. I have very dehydrated / dry under eyes, which not only have dark circles, but also have a million fine lines - lucky me!
I wanted this to work so bad, but instead it worked bad...
After only a few minutes of applying a light layer to my under eye area, this concealer creases badly on me. I've tried it on my days off, and have worn it around the house just to see if I can make it work, but by the end of each day that I've done this, it has caked up and gone really dry.
There is not as much coverage at the end of the day, and it also manages to find its way into my lines - showing off even more than I knew I had - eeek! I'm not too sure where creamy fits into the title of this concealer, because I really have found it to be anything but!
Seeing as I can't use it under my eyes, I've decided to use it on my face - I can't bear to waste a tiny tube of $$$!
To me it is just an OK facial concealer, and I'm not too sure if I would buy it again for this...actually, I probably wouldn't. I find that it wears off, and while it covers things nicely to begin with, half way through the day it looks powdery on my combination skin.
The more I think about this one, the more disappointed I am...seems like it works so well for so many people!
Tips: If you have dry / dehydrated under eyes, this one isn't for you... If you can, get a sample or try it on at a store at the beginning of the day, and see how it wears.
