Nars Orgasm Blush

Nars Orgasm is one of those cult products every beauty lover has heard of and as a girl who can never have too many blushes, I have been lusting after it for a long, long time. The main deterrant for me was the price tag - $50 is a sizeable dent in the pocket when it comes to blush, especially as Orgasm is a product that so many brands have tried to emulate resulting in more affordable dupes. While at first I settled for these alternatives eventually I had to cave and pick it up.

Nars Orgasm really is THE blush that every woman has to own. The packaging is understated and classic, a matte black compact whose size may seem small but then how often do you really pan blush? In saying that with Orgasm it would be a blush that's easy to do so as the colour is so wearable.

In the pan it comes off as a bright peachy-pink that looks like it has a lot of gold glitter through it, however when applied it's much more subtle like a marriage between a blush and a highlighter with a golden sheen. The powder is finely milled and heavily pigmented, you don't need a lot of product on you brush. Normally I apply this with a light hand and it creates the prettiest blush on my medium-fair skin that can be worn daily, or heavier for more of an impact. I have combination skin and work long hours but this blush lasts the distance without the need to reapply.

This blush really is worth all the hype and I can happily recommend it to everyone, the colour is one which would be universally flattering making it a must-have for all blush lovers.

I have heard so much about the Nars blush in Orgasm. I was skeptical about the hype - surely a blush can't suit everyone? I caved and bought it on a trip to NYC.

The pink shade is very pretty and pleasant, however the golden shimmery quality is what makes the blush special. Surprisingly the shimmer is subtle so it can suit an everyday look. The golden quality is also what makes it so versatile for various skin tones.

The downside is the price. I have concluded that they must have some kind of makeup witch/warlock on retainer to justify that price.

This is the perfect blush - believe the hype.

The colour is a beautiful peachy, coral with a slight shimmer to it. Don't worry though as once it's applied it doesn't look glittery - the shimmer almost acts more like a highlighter. I have olive skin but this blush should suit most skin tones.

This product easily lasts all day without having to do any touch-ups. It comes in a small, compact size black case and you really only need to apply a little bit each time so it will last a while even if you use it every day.

There are a lot of dupes out there but it is worth it to give the real thing a try. It's a product that's definitely worth the money.

At the start I resisted buying into the hype and instead I bought the affordable dupes but as any makeup lover would know; eventually the enablers wear you down haha.

I was unimpressed for months with this blush - I didn't see anything remotely special about it on my cheeks. That all changed once I applied the blush in a way that suits my skin tone and really shows off the gorgeous peach/pink coral.

The blush comes in a textured black compact that is surprisingly small but I like that because it makes me think that it's possible to pan haha. In the pan, there's no denying how visually appealing this shade is and I really think skin tones across the board can pull it off; even those afraid of shimmer.

Before you go running to the hills, the shimmer is noticeable in the pan and on your brush but it will blend beautifully into the skin so that you don't look like a disco ball. What I love about this blush is that the colour is buildable so you can have a gentle pop of peach coral or a bam-in-your-face 80s baby look - yes I tried - I love clowning my blush :-)

The blush not only has excellent pigmentation but there is a slight sheen to the product. The staying power is excellent; it lasts me all day with very little fading. I buy a lot of my NARS products from Mecca but this blush was from Sephora (via Shipito). Does this blush replace my dupes? Nope but I'm happy to have them all and they do get a lot of use.

I can't believe I have not already written a review on the much talked about NARS Orgasm Blush, as I have reached for it almost everyday for over a year now. This is my all time favourite blush, one of my top 5 makeup items, and I will 100% repurchase this when it eventually runs out.

NARS Orgasm is beautiful. It is contained within sturdy, black packaging with a mirror. Inside is a luxurious, glowing pink shade with speckles of shimmering gold. I have fair-medium skin, depending on how fake tanned I am, and this shade is perfection. It provides a natural pink flush to the cheeks and a gorgeous glow. This product is a blush and basic highlight in one, and somehow seems to hit the cheekbones perfectly every time. This product is easy to blend, and difficult to mess up. The end result is a stunning, glowing flush that compliments the most basic makeup, as well as a full faced look.

NARS Orgasm lasts all day, although I would top it up for an extra boost come the evening. I also own ZA Glowing Pink, which is a more affordable option. It is very similar, but NARS Orgasm has that extra wow factor and lasts longer on the skin.

NARS Orgasm is particularly perfect for beginners, those in a rush, or anyone who is unsure about what blush tone will suit them. I believe it is an essential for every one, and I will continue to use this on an almost daily basis. The only time I reach for a different blush is if I want a matte blush, or if I would prefer to use a separate highlighter and don't want to go overboard.

I would review this as one of my favourite ever purchases its elegant and beautiful colour has you cradling this like your first born baby, your one true love. Upon applying you know that if you ever hit pan you will not cope. Beautiful peachy tones with the perfect amount of shimmer so your not a disco queen your just sophisticated enough to catch the shimmer of light that attracts any gentleman attention.

This is one of my favourite blushes for summer! I don't wear it so much in the winter and autumn because I feel like it's super bright and pigmented and is a bit too much for the colder seasons. I really like the packaging on these blushes because they're sturdy and easy to store but they get dirty really easily, especially when around other powders. It has a really pretty sheen when applied to the cheek bones, its lovely and gold in the sunlight which makes it amazing for warmer days. It's super pigmented and blends really easily, I like to apply mine with a duo fibre brush; it gets a good amount of pigment and shimmer and blends out super quick. You really don't need to use a lot of product when applying so one of these blushes will last you forever!

I purchased the mini size of this blush to see what the fuss was all about. I really liked it. It gave my cheeks an amazing color that shouted out wow!

I love how this is different to my other blushes. I mostly own pinks and this is a coral peach color with a hint of golden specks to it.

It blends out fantastically. Never had an issue with blending. But I've found if you apply too much it looks OTT and ridiculous.

The packaging is fancy just like all other Nars products which I adore.

I applied this with a stippling blush as that's the best way for me to get the most out of it.

I love how this blush completed my look every time. I recommend that everyone tries it at least once. I will be purchasing the full size soon.

This blush was part of my first ever Nars purchase. The packaging is beautiful and sleek, and I love how they don't put any of those stupid throwaway brushes inside. The coral colouring is to die for and looks so pretty and feminine across the cheeks. Its one of my least pigmented blushes, which I actually prefer as I own so many blushes where you can't even look at the blush brush without looking like you doused yourself in the stuff. It does have a sheen/hint of glitter but this is not an issue for me, I find it to be quite subtle and flattering. My only issue is I don't think this has huge lasting power on me, it certainly doesn't seem to last all day. Am a firm fan of this one!

This is my first Nars Blush and I bought it because I've heard so many people obsess over this cult product. This has been my favourite for quite some time now. It is such a lovely pinky coral shade that matches my skin tone well. It is shimmery though so I use it sparingly but it's a gorgeous shade and great for a night out. A little goes a long way so although it is not a cheap blush, I think it is worth it. I also have oily skin but since I always have a matte base and set my foundation with powder, this lasts quite well on my skin. There is a reason people love this. I highly recommend.
