But you just cant go wrong. I feel like everybody owns Nars laguna... And why the f*** not! Its gorgeous. Its a lovely bronzed glow that you can use all over.. I've even used it as a shadow in emergency situations! My only qualm with this product, I wish it was slightly more pigmented.. I don't mind having to build it up cause its good for beginners. But hey, I still love you Nars laguna xoxo

No words can describe my love for this bronzer! This product is so hyped and for good reason! The pigmentation is perfect and so is the shade - not too warm and not too cool. It really is the perfect shade to warm up fair-medium complexions without looking muddy or patchy. Plus the product lasts for ages before you hit pan
Tips: For fairer skin tones apply with a light hand until you get your desired look
This is the perfect summer bronzer and I'll never be without it. It's totally he perfect neutral to warm tone for bronzing, I've heard some use it to contour but I think it's too warm and it has a slight gold shimmer through it which doesn't show up too much on the face. I like to use it with a big fluffy brush all round the perimeter of my face to frame it and give me some colour. It's a pricey item but I do think it's worth it
I've been wearing this bronzer for the last two months straight. I love using this things so for me to want to keep using the same product, means I must really like it!
I don't actually have the separate pan of this, I have the bronzer in a face palette with other blushes and a highlight. The usual nars packaging is pretty basic, I've owned a blush before. It's a black thin compact that gets dirty pretty easily!
The actual powder is a medium toned, warm brown. It has some shimmer to it in the pan, but I never actually notice it on my face, I think it just more looks like a glow on my face rather than a glitter bomb. I like to use a big fluffy powder brush to put it on the outsides of my face and cheekbones. I sort of use it to contour but not properly as it really is too warm for that. This powder blends out really nicely, it doesn't stick to patches on my face or look chunky. I have quite light skin but it doesn't look too much on me. It is a more buildable powder, so the darker you are, the more you would need to put on. I think most light to medium skins would be able to wear this.
I can definitely see myself using this all up and repurchasing one day. I'd recommend to others, although I know it is pricey. Bronzers do last for quite a while though.
I've tried a number of bronzers in my time and this is one I always come back to.
It comes in a sleek black compact, with a decent sized mirror so is perfect for travel.
The powder itself is a medium brown tone, leaning on the warm side. Despite the warm coloring, it never looks orange or muddy on my fair skin, instead it always manages to make me look sunkissed and bronzed. There are some faint sparkles in the pan, but personally I don't see these transferring to the face; at best it might give a slightly more luminous finish than an average matte bronzer (which is especially great for a glowy summer look).
I like to apply this with a large fluffy brush, across my forehead, cheekbones, nose and neck, for an all over glow, and to bring some colour and life back to my fair skin after foundation. It doesn't look heavy or powdery, and blends really nicely over my base. I also like that its a buildable colour, so I can continue to apply more until I reach the desired level of bronzedness without it ever being too much.
This was the first bronzer I ever purchased and it isnt leaving my collection anytime soon. Of course, I have tried other bronzers, but laguna is one of the only ones I have purchased time and time again. I remember everyone raving about this product, and yes it is quite pricey but it does last a long time. It is very easy to blend, I like to use it to bronze my face and find it works well with the NARS face powder (probably because they are the same brand, go figure). I hit pan on my current one so will need to repurchase soon, honestly, you can probably find cheaper alternatives that do just as good as a job as this one but I don't see myself straying from this product anytime soon!
Tips: Pop this bronzer in your crease to add depth to your eyes!
NARS does no wrong when it comes to base products in my opinion, and Laguna is really no exception. Laguna is a great bronzer that should please most people, it's texture is firm so it builds up slowly, making it suitable for a range of skin tones (I'm very pale & i can use it). it lays on the skin nicely it has a natural matte finish which is very flattering. The colour is pretty neutral in the pan and you can get away with using it to contour or as a bronzer, which kinda brings me to my issue with it..
As a bronzer, like i said it's firm texture makes it buildable so i can use it but i just prefer a lighter shade that goes on more pigmented from the start..
As a contour it will do the trick but it isn't designed specifically for that purpose, i'd rather something that was, and had a cooler tone.
If you only want a minimal collection and you want a product to contour and bronze with then i do think this is a great choice. If you tan and your shade changes depending on that then this would be good because it is so buildable you can get varying depths and the finish is lovely. If you are heavy handed or simply prefer to have a bronzer that builds up slowly then go for it it's a classic. But for me i like it, it's not my favourite.
I really, really, really like this bronzer. It's the perfect one bronzer for contouring and bronzing, it has just enough of a cool undertone to use for contouring but it's warm enough to use as bronzer. It also blends beautifully on your skin and it manages to suit most skin tones. When I first got this as mini in a gwp, I used the mini to contour every time I did my makeup for days and still didn't see a dent in the small mini and so ended purchasing it in a palette. It's buildable and doesn't look powdery or cakey on the skin. The only gripe I have about this bronzer is the Nars packaging. It's this rubberized sleek looking packaging until, you use it and the powder sticks to and makes it look dirty. If Nars would just change their packaging I would buy more of their products. But that being said, I still would repurchase this bronzer.
Tips: If you aren't a fan of Nars usual packaging then I would recommend waiting till the holidays when Nars puts some of their permanent products in limited edition and often easier to clean packaging.
Absolutely LOVE! I struggled to find the perfect bronzer until I found this a few years ago. I found so many other brands would look "muddy" or way to orange but this is perfect
I decided to mix things up and try some NARS products and Laguna was at the top of my list to try. Like all NARS products the packaging is matte and classy looking while the product itself is gorgeous! A lovely shimmer to it, Laguna looks beautiful and sits beautifully on my skin (oliy)- I was nervous that being quite fair skinned it would look too dark but its easy to blend and build coverage with it - the NARS Ita brush is fab to use it with too! Its not quite my favourite as I adore Hoola too much but it is a gorgeous product and my only complaint would be that for the price you don't get much product and will hit pan if you don't use it evenly within a month
Tips: Get the NARS Ita brush!
