This bronzer really does offer a natural-looking sun-kissed glow. It has slight shimmer which can be used all over face for a glow or as a contour. It is sheer and very buildable. I love NARS powders because they are all finely milled and don't cake on your skin. It's also good for all skin tones. Must have one in your collection.

Tips: Build the product up a little goes a long way
A beautiful neutral toned bronzer. The colour is lovely on the skin, not too cool toned or to warm toned making it a great product to both contour and bronze the skin.
Very buildable formula and layers well with other cheek products.
Easy to use formula but I do find if you are accidently a little to heavy handed or distracted while applying it can on occasion look a little "muddy" on paler skin tones and takes a while to blend back to normal.
Tips: A beautiful colour to use on the eyes to create natural definition as well as using on the cheeks!
I was recommended this bronzer and told it had a very slight shimmer that was unnoticeable on skin. I would still describe the shimmer as slight, but unfortunately it is noticeable on skin. I had intended to use this as a contour colour, but it's shimmer has meant i will keep it for regular bronzing instead. The texture and pigmentation of Laguna is great, and it also comes with a mirror which is nice for travel or on the go application.
Tips: I would recommend if you are looking for a bronzer with a very slight shimmer but not overwhelming
I've been on a forever quest to find that one bronzer that wouldn't make my porcelain near see through skin look as if I have just sat in a mud puddle and splattered it onto my face! Which is why I avoid contouring my face and really dislike. In my love of NARS I thought I would give Laguna a go and well...hello!
Packaging is in keep with all NARS blushes, a simple, flat, black, matte effect compact with NARS wrote in white letters on the lid. Flip it open and inside you are greeted with a large mirror that fits the whole lid space and the slab of milk chocolate coloured bronzer that is Laguna.
It has a softness about it that is rare in powdered products, it has no chalk feeling or harshness. The colour is a warm tone brown that makes even my fair skin look perfectly sun kissed without going over to the mud plastering affair. I personally use a rounded top kabuki to apply Laguna, as I find that is the perfect brush to just blend the bronzer out beautifully without leaving massive splodges of it on your face.
I have had a quick go at contouring with it, but alas I just can't get the effect right on my round fat face, but used as a face framer, blush topper it is gorgeous. A swirl and swish from the back of the blush line up over the forehead and in the shadows of the neck and nose gives a nice summery definition that makes my skin glow.
I researched bronzers on BR and found this one came very highly rated. As I was in Australia and stumbled over Mecca Cosmetica, I thought I would give it a go. The colour is good - not sparkly at all which is great for an old girl but I have discovered that I like the body shop bronzer just as much! Don't get me wrong - I have nothing negative to say about NARS Laguna bronzer. Simply that other more readily available locally products do the job just as well.
I love my Laguna bronzer, I reach for this more than any other bronzing/contour products that I own. I'm pretty pale (NW15) and this looks beautiful on my skin and still looks great when I darken a little over summer too.
The product comes in a nice matte finish compact with a decent sized mirror too which can come in handy! And don't be thrown off by the "glitter" that's in the bronzer, this doesn't come off on your skin at all!
Tips: Be light handed as its pretty pigmented. Build it up as you need it
I've been wearing this bronzer for the last two months straight. I love using this things so for me to want to keep using the same product, means I must really like it!
I don't actually have the separate pan of this, I have the bronzer in a face palette with other blushes and a highlight. The usual nars packaging is pretty basic, I've owned a blush before. It's a black thin compact that gets dirty pretty easily!
The actual powder is a medium toned, warm brown. It has some shimmer to it in the pan, but I never actually notice it on my face, I think it just more looks like a glow on my face rather than a glitter bomb. I like to use a big fluffy powder brush to put it on the outsides of my face and cheekbones. I sort of use it to contour but not properly as it really is too warm for that. This powder blends out really nicely, it doesn't stick to patches on my face or look chunky. I have quite light skin but it doesn't look too much on me. It is a more buildable powder, so the darker you are, the more you would need to put on. I think most light to medium skins would be able to wear this.
I can definitely see myself using this all up and repurchasing one day. I'd recommend to others, although I know it is pricey. Bronzers do last for quite a while though.
A bronzer that also gives your face a nice and natural sheer glow. The shimmery powder is nice and light, so goes on smoothly without feeling heavy and dry. The bronzing property of the fine powder isn’t too overpowering either, which makes it suitable for those with light skin tones as well. It went on nicely together with my BB cream and powdered foundation. The tone of this bronzer does depend on how much you apply. If you want a stronger bronze, just apply more. If you just need a small touch up, just apply less.
This bronzer goes on smoothly, so is great for contouring, or if you just want to add a finishing touch of radiance onto your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin, as the shimmer of this powder gives your face a nice and natural finish.
This is for the Casino shade. Its more suited for people who are tan and have olive skin tone, laguna didn't show up on me so i decided to to opt for Casino, this bronzer is amazing although it has a warm undertone, its still flattering on the skin. It has less gold specks compared to laguna, so i use this to warm up my skin then mix this and Bahama Mama by thebalm to contour. It is pricey but its worth it
Tips: Apply with the Nars Ita Brush for a flawless contour!
Let me preface this review by saying that I am a major fan of the NARS brand. I probably repurchase more Nars products than any other brand in my makeup collection. Laguna, however, is not one of them.
I received this for my birthday one year in the "Laguna Jumbo Tiare Bronzer" variety (i.e. a large cake of Nars Laguna paired with the mini Nars Kabuki Ita brush).
It's buttery, it's pigmented, it's blendable. Beautiful. BUT! The thing that stops me from wearing it, meaning I haven't used enough of it to warrant repurchasing, is the tone. I have quite fair skin, and I find Laguna just too warm and orangey on me.
Tips: If you're super pale, try it out in store, and/or purchase in a small size initially.
