I was most excited to try this lil gem from my BBBE. I am having some real self esteem issues lately and it's all focused around my eye area. I recently reached 35 :( and with this I noticed changes with my eye area that I hadn't noticed before. I think alot of it had to do with lack of sleep with a new baby and stress of balancing life and work but my crows feet were apparent nonetheless. Enter my first ever eye cream 'Natural Instinct Dark Circle and Wrinkle Correction Eye Cream'.
Eye creams usually don't enter in to my radar because I haven't had a problem before now. But they seemed to have crept up on me over a few months it seem. Now this eye cream comes in a cute patoot squeezy tube. The product is easy to get out and the long nose nozzle makes it easier to not wast product. It squirts our the tiniest amount which is awesome. The cream has a very very faint fresh smell to it. It doesn't smell of chemicals like some creams can thank gosh. It is quite thick and creamy. I do as the directions say using it morning and night after cleansing. I use my ring finger to gently pat it in to the eye area as suggested. The only thing that bugs me about this is that it doesn't soak in to the skin like I would want. It creates a slight film under my eye area which makes it hard for me to apply makeup until it has completely been absorbed! Nonetheless I forge ahead with hope in my heart that it will do the trick and make me feel better about myself again,
It has been about 3 weeks now and I have definitely noticed a decrease in the size of the crow feet at the edge of my eyes, They are now more like sparrow feet so that's amazing. I notice that my skin in that area is far more soft and supply than it used to be. Although the dark circles are still apparent the wrinkles that used to bother me have lessened which is a tick in my books! I can't wait to see 3-6 months down the line.
A full sized 25ml tube of Natural Instinct Dark Circle & Wrinkle Correction Eye Cream was in a BBBE Box that I bought. This eye cream promises to intensively hydrate, reduce puffiness and smooth fine lines, while banishing dark circles and lifting the eye area. It contains Troxerutin, a powerful plant derived anti-inflammatory active ingredient to help reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness, while promoting cell renewal; Saccharide Isomerate, to provide intense hydration and strengthen skin; Coffee Seed Oil to reduce puffiness and promote firmer looking skin; and Aloe Vera to soothe and nurture the delicate eye area.
This eye cream can be used morning and night (after cleansing), by gently dabbing the cream on around the eye area with the ring fingers. Ring fingers are always used to apply eye cream, as they exert the least amount of pressure and don't tug at the delicate skin.
So far, this eye cream is one of my favorites. It works really well, and is also free from petrochemicals, mineral oils, sulphates, silicones, parabens, animal derivatives, and artificial fragrances and colours, just to name a few. It is vegan friendly, and not tested on animals.
There is only one thing that I don't really like about Natural Instinct Dark Circle & Wrinkle Correction Eye Cream, and that is the size of the tube. 25ml is a rather large tube for an eye cream, and having an expiry date of 12 months after opening, I doubt that I'm going to finish the entire tube before it's due to be replaced. I would much prefer a 10ml or 15ml tube that I can simply replace when I run out, rather than having a large tube of wasted, expired product that I probably will have to throw away.
Other than that, Natural Instinct Dark Circle & Wrinkle Correction Eye Cream is lovely. It does hydrate and moisturize the delicate skin around my eyes, it is easily absorbed, it does help reduce puffiness and dark circles that I get from bad hayfever, and it does help to smooth out and reduce the appearance of fine lines. I'll definitely be repurchasing this eye cream in the future, and would recommend it.
Tips: Apply a tiny bit to your ring finger (you don't need too much), then rub both rings fingers together before applying it around the eye area
