Nature Box Avocado Oil Range Review

I love that the packaging of this range uses 25% recycled plastic!! I think it really goes to show what the brand is all about and how earth-friendly it is. I’m always drawn to natural products and find that they always work really well for me. I was stoked when I got a trial for this- 5 products right up my alley! I love that these products are 100% natural and have cold pressed avocado oil in them for it’s vitamins and anti-oxidant properties. I like how the colour scheme was cohesive- all in the green/black/gold which I thought was simple and slick. The colors of the bottles were all green but some were a transparent green (the shower gel and shampoo) and some an opaque green (the body moisturizer, conditioner and repair cream). I liked that they were all similar but different. It would be so easy to spot this range in a department store or supermarket and straight away you would be able to tell that they are from the same range, which I like. Most of the products in the range had a pump lid (except for the shower gel) and all of the pump lids were able to be turned and licked- a feature I think is really handy, especially if travelling. I also really liked the scent of the products- a subtle but really fresh scent (quite hard to describe) and I thought it was clever that all the products smelt the exact same. All the products in this range are suuuuper affordable as well- often natural/vegan products are more on the expensive side so it was really good to see that they weren’t over priced. Overall, I really liked all of these products. I thought the products in the range worked well together and I got some good results on my hair- it looks and feels smooth and soft, and my ends are looking much healthier. I am really impressed by these products and would definitely reach for them again.

This is a great range aimed at overcoming dry skin using avocado oil as its base. The product packaging is very striking in bright green bottles that are are slimline so they fit nicely in your shower caddy. They all have pump top that are do handy to use except the body wash. All the products have similar fragrances that work well together but are not overpowering. Overall highly recommend this range for anyone with dry skin or hair

Firstly I love it all. It did take me a couple of days to get used to the scent as I am used to sweeter fruiter scented products and this has a more muted but still pleasent smell. The shampoo lathers really well and leaves my hair feeling clean with just a small amount of product. I found I had to use more of the conditioner as I have quite thick hair and it just seemed to be absorbed very quickly. It did however leave my hair feeling super soft and really easy to brush out. I tried the hair treatment both in and out of the shower and I felt that it worked best for me out of the shower as it had a longer lasting effect and my hair felt softer afterwards in contrast to when I used it in the shower, I feel like the product simply got washed away and had no long term effect in my hair. I loved how well the shower gel lathers, it feels like I am using bubbles made of silk, and it leaves my skin feeling good too. I didn’t like the lid on it I think I would have preferred using a pump top bottle as I find that it is better way to measure how much product I’m using. And then there is the moisturiser, this is amazing. It leaves my skin feeling soft, it isn’t greasy, it soaks right on in and my skins feels soft for such a long time after using it. It is also great for using in massages as it is so thin that it spreads really well.

So overall, I love it, it’s awesome and well worth a try.

It was a pleasure to try this range. Overall, a great everyday range that is indeed moisturising and leaves skin and hair feeling good. I can't say for definite that it was repairing, I would probably have to use it for a longer time period. Where this range falls down is the very strong and 'artificial' fragrance and considering the range uses the term natural; the ingredient list reads as anything but. The body moisturiser and hair repair are the best of the range.

I received this range to review, and was excited when it arrived. I love the packaging, and the pumps make it so easy to use in the shower. It has a gentle scent, not overpowering which is good. A small amount goes a long way, so I feel this is a good value for money product.

I was so lucky to be invited to trial this range, thank you BR! This range is paraben free and vegan which is great, and comes in partially recycled plastic. I love that almost all the products come in pump bottles because it is so convenient, especially in the shower. I have to say I am not a big fan of the scent of this range. I don't hate it, but it isn't the sort of scent that makes you go, wow, that smells so good, sort of thing. The scent was one of the biggest downfalls for me with the body lotion, because it is not the sort of smell I want to slather all over my arms and legs. However it wasn't much of a problem for the shampoo, conditioner or body wash since the product gets washed away, leaving just a clean smell. My favourite products were definitely the shampoo, conditioner and repair cream together. They left my hair feeling clean but still nourished and super soft. The body lotion and body wash were okay, but nothing special. As a whole I really loved this range, however I am looking forward to buying the coconut version, because I think that would have all the great benefits that the avocado range has, but with a better fragrance.

Ok I am a bit fussy when it comes to using natural hair product, I work for an Organic Hair Colour Company and use their salon only Organic products - BUT this range actually surprised me!

I was lucky to receive the Avocado Oil Range of Nature Box products. I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging and colour of the bottles, I think they look really cool, definitely make you think avocado! Over the space of about a week I tried all of these lovely products not only on myself but also on my 6 year old daughter.

The shampoo, conditioner, treatment and body wash all have pumps which is great - the body wash just has a flip top which is fine to use. All of the pumps seemed to work fine with no issues. Ok the smell is definitely natural and some may even say unpleasant? However I really liked it as it's not sweet and sickly like some products can be. The avocado oil is 100% cold pressed which is great.

The range was easy to use and actually worked really well on my hair and even better on my daughters. One thing I really liked was the leave in (or wash out) hair treatment especially for my daughter as her hair gets really tangly after washing - this made a huge difference and made her hair easier to brush and smell clean and fresh.

All in all I really do like this range of products and I actually would purchase these again, I think they are good value for money and work well.

i was so excited to get picked to trail all these products! when it came in the mail i could smell it before i even opened the bag. It smelled amazing!!! 5 bottles in the set, Shampoo, Conditioner, hair treatment, shower gel and body lotion. i love how all the bottles match, and that all bar one had pump lids, it kind of annoyed me that the shower gel doesn't, would have been much easier to use if it had of. from the 5 i loved 3 of the products, the shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. they were all amazing and did what you would expect them to do, but for me they were better than other brands i have used before. however the shower gel and hair treatment left a little to be desired, i will use them up, but wouldn't replace them when finished. where as the other 3 i will probably buy more of when they are finished. i have pretty damaged hair and after using them for awhile have have to say my hair does feel nicer, softer and more bouncy and it smells great too! my skin feels really good after using the lotion also, it feels moisturized well into the next day, which is nice when you have dry skin.

I was lucky enough to trial all 5 avocado oil products which are vegan, free from nasties and made with 100% cold pressed avocado oil. I did find that the fragrance wasn't thrilling for me but overall the products were great so that outweighed that fact and also, I think it would be very hard to get a lovely smelling avocado oil product. For each individual product, please read my other reviews on them for more detail. Great that these product containers are made from 25% recycled plastic also gets a big tick from me.
