As the title suggests this spray is milky in colour and texture.
A nice boost to the conditioner especially if you have been swimming or have windswept hair. Just spray on towel dried hair. Also good to dampen your hair and restyle.
I wouldn't say this is a full on detangler nor does it state this though it does improve the texture of your hair without the greasy feeling and with the subtle scent of coconut.
This comes in a 150ml pump spray bottle. It is free from silicones, parabens and artificial colourants. This product is also vegan.
When I first looked at the bottle, I wasn't sure whether this was a hair or body product. I had to read the fine print on the back to figure that out.
In the past I've avoided buying coconut scented products because the smell was overwhelming, so I was pleasantly surprised when I unscrewed the lid to smell this spray. Nice coconut smell but not too strong.
Even though the instructions were for wet hair, I tried it on dry and wet hair to see if there was a difference. Spraying it directly on wet hair, I used about 4 squirts the first time, then massaged it in with my fingers. Overall it was light in texture and seemed to provide a nice shine without a greasy after feel, something I've always struggled with having fine, coloured hair. Subsequent times I tried 3 squirts and felt this was better, especially on short hair.
I also tried it on dry hair several times and it definitely left a slightly greasy residue. I wouldn't recommend it be used in this way, especially if you have fine hair. I'm not sure which ingredient made it greasy as there were no added silicones in the product.
Overall it's a nice product, not the best I've tried, but one of the better ones without parabens or sulfates. I would use it again, but only on wet hair and definitely only 3 squirts. Less is definitely more.
