I was given the opportunity to trail the Nature Box Coconut Range and used the coconut body wash every day for a period of two weeks. I had no issues using this body wash. I generally go for a more sweeter smelling body wash but the neutral smell meant that my husband had no problem using the bottle as well. He's generally quite picky with what body wash he uses as well so that's definitely a win!

This shower gel comes in a 385ml bottle and is a beautiful bright addition to the shower shelf. Upon opening I was hit in the nose with a strong smell of coconut - you absolutely need to be a fan of coconut to enjoy this product, it’s not for the faint of heart! I used it over the course of a week, first using straight in my hands and then on a loofah. I found it didn’t lather greatly which is something I personally like- the feeling of getting really clean! It did a decent job of cleaning my skin and didn’t leave it feeling dry or tight. I would consider this good choice for someone who makes ethical choices with normal to slightly dry skin .
The shower gel is clear and light in consistency but not at all oily. It comes packaged in a deep blue semi-transparent bottle. There isn’t a pump lid like the hair shampoo and conditioner. While I would have preferred a pump, having a different lid allows you to easily identify which bottle is which. The formula is made from 100% cold pressed coconut oil which contains lot’s of vitamins and antioxidants, and claims to protect your skin from drying out. It’s free from parabens and artificial colours, and it’s vegan! This shower gel smells gorgeous, it’s a very obvious coconut scent but it’s not overpowering. I used this in conjunction with the body lotion in the range, and I really enjoy how soft my skin feels after using them.
Tips: Use it with the body lotion!
Funky blue packaging to match the rest of the range, but I felt it really should have been a pump bottle. Maybe it doesn't have a pump so you don't mix it up with the shampoo. It was easy enough to use the flip lid in the shower. It has a nice lather, but I would have liked a stronger coconut smell.
This shower gel comes in a bright blue bottle, but the product is a clear colour (no artificial colours added!). The scent is a lovely tropical coconut smell. The smell doesn't last (but no shower gel really does) but works well with the body lotion.
I only needed a small amount of product with my shower pouf to lather up nicely and clean my whole body. The coconut oil ensured my skin was hydrated and didn't dry out.
I really like that this product is free from sulfates, silicones, and parabens. I would use this again and recommend to others to use (if you like the smell of coconut).
Tips: Swap the cap for the pump nozzle from the shampoo if you prefer a pump
Thank you BR for this wonderful trial opportunity.
This product comes in a black and blue bottle. I feel that they should have made this a pump bottle like the rest of the range as it would be easier to use in the shower.
I found this product to have next to no scent which I thought was very strange as the whole range has a beautiful coconut scent except for this product. The consistency is that of a gel body wash.
I found this product to work very well. I put a small amount on my loafer and it easily lathered up & rinsed off. It left my skin feeling very soft and I love that this range is pH neutral and safe for all ages. I would definitely recommend.
Tips: You only need a small amount.
I love coconut products but the smell of this shower gel was very strong and unpleasant to my nose.
Like the body lotion, this product has a pump bottle and is easy to dispense. It's not too thick or thin and 2 pumps was plenty to wash my legs and arms. An additional pump was used for my torso. Given the strong odour, I didn't want to use too much so I used less product than I would have with my regular shower gel.
It wasn't excessively foamy and rinsed off easily, leaving my skin soft and ready for the moisturiser. The second time I used it I tipped it into a flannel and massaged it into my skin like a mini exfoliation. I highly recommend this an alternative to just rubbing it in with your hands.
It's really curious that both the shower gel and shampoo have a much stronger odour than the rest of the line. I'm not sure what the cause is, but it really put me off rating this product higher.
This body was is average. I found that it claims to do what it said it does but I’ve also used other body washes that are just as good. I found that the body wash was thick which I found great when shaving. I liked the smell of this product. I especially love coconut. I was disappointed that the smell doesn’t last long.
Again, this product is packaged in a nice bright blue bottle but unlike the other products it doesn't have a pump, just a squeezy lid (which I actually prefer for my in-shower products). I found the scent of the shower gel to be much stronger than the other items in the range and it kinda reminded me of cough liquid, so I wasn't a huge fan unfortunately.
It did do its job however of making me squeaky clean, so I cant fault it there. It does lather up quite well for a hydrating product too.
It is not however a product I feel as though I would purchase, especially at $9 a bottle.
Its nice having a matching set of everything in the shower shampoo, conditioner and gel. Usually it’s just a shampoo, conditioner and some random wash, soap or gel so this trio looks pretty slick set up in the cubicle.
I had run out and was using shampoo as a body wash so this was the perfect time for this trial.
It’s a really nice light gel wash that lathers well.. it was perfect for lathering while shaving and to clean. Gentle on my skin and even used as a cleanser when I forgot to cleanse outside the shower oops.. so I did actually find this quite gentle. And not overdrying on my face when used as a cleanser - surprisingly as even baby soap makes my skin feel tight and dry.
Again the amazing scent of the range. I don’t find it sickly which is vey handy right now. My partner loves it too as he refuses to use anything floral as a wash so lavender scents for example are out.. this is a good scent to please the household.
Gutted it didn’t have a pump lid like the shampoo and conditioner.. if it did though I fear you would easily mix the shampoo and wash up so that is perhaps the reasoning behind it. It does look similar to the shampoo bottle but I just keep mine on a different shelf and look for the flip top lid.
I did like it I think it will last me at least 3 months which is good for the price. It goes far and is a nice barrier for shaving. Huge plus.
