I was attracted to this brand due to the Natural and Organic side and the fact that it's grey water safe - so we can use when we're on hols in the caravan! I've got very thick and curly hair and prefer to use salon products but when budget doesn't allow for that this range is wonderful. It's also great to use on my young daughter (7), who also has very thick hair but a sensitive scalp and this doesn't aggravate it. It has minimal scent and is thick and luxurious to use and leaves hair feeling clean and moisturised.

I use this sometimes if i think my hair needs a break from any of those chemicals used in hair dyes and other shampoos. I would say it makes it any different but makes me feel like I'm helping my hair a bit :)
I love the thought of using organic products. However, this shampoo & conditioner just didn't do my hair any favours. My hair is quite fine and dry so i really need an intensive, salon product to work with my hair. Unfortunately i wont buy again.
Ok just not for my hair, everyone else in the house appreciated it but me. I do for crazy dry hair though . It's a lackluster no from me. But good for a family go to.
I used this product when it first came out, at first my hair felt so silky and manageable but after a while my hair started to feel gross and full of buildup. My hair begun to get oily very fast and also was hard to manage.
We never purchased this again due to these issues.
I've been using this since I arrived in New Zealand as it's cheap, easy to find and free of a lot of nasty stuff, you get a 400 ml bottle for under ten dollars. However it's not the best shampoo and conditioner I've used as there's usually more hair in the shower after I use it. I use it to wash out excess oil on days I put oil in my hair as that uses a lot of shampoo. But when I have more money I'm probably not going to buy this one again. It's probably a good natural budget shampoo for older children and teen boys and guys and people with short hair.
Tips: I would recommend a natural budget shampoo for teen boys and guys so long as they have plenty of hair.
The product itself does it's job, it's a well priced incredibly affordable product of generous size, smells nice, free of most the nasties that most people like to avoid (especially great being paraben and SLS free) but unfortunately for gluten intolerant me I have to avoid this product as all variants contain several types of wheat protein which can make me sick after repeated exposure. I am always on the lookout for more natural haircare as SLS seems to dry my skin out and cause reactions, but unfortunately this product is not for me. Would buy again if there was a gluten free variant.
Tips: Not for Celiacs!
For the first 2 months that I tried this shampoo, I thought it was great and then I began losing hair (lots of it) and my hair began looking flat, limp and feeling greasy by the next morning. My seborrheic dermatitis also began to flare up, so I had to change my shampoo.
This shampoo does lather nicely and is paraben and SLS free and is not tested on animals, but it does contain Palm Oil. I did not buy the conditioner, as I have oily hair and use Argan Oil on the ends.
Unfortunately, I thought this would be the perfect shampoo for my naturally oily / greasy hair, but it was not to be and I’m still looking for the perfect “oily hair” shampoo.
This product is often found for just $5 at Pak N Save. Unfortunately, the low price reflects the low effectiveness of the shampoo and conditioner.
The concept is wonderful; the ethos of an eco-friendly shampoo is great. But the product itself is a let down; this shampoo and conditioner dried out my hair.
The smell is pleasant and light, while the packaging is pretty eye catching. There was a lot more shampoo and conditioner that I'd expteced in terms of sheer volume. This is an average shampoo and conditioner.
I have been constantly dyeing my hair so I prefer to use organic/ natural products for hair care (in my mind that balances my unhealthy habits). I have tried a lot of hair care products that did not perform well and sadly this one is one of them. It did not help much with my dry hair, my hair started falling and I my scalp got dry which of course led to dandruff. To be fair, this also happened to me with other shampoo and conditioners even the high end ones. It may work for someone with normal hair but probably skip it if you have dry/damaged hair.
