Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunblock

I have always tried to find a sunblock that smells nice, and doesn't leave an oily touch to the skin. Then I discovered this! It has a very subtle and delicate yet pleasant smell and it states to have a lightweight clean feel - which I can also happily agree with. It's SPF 85+ so I feel I don't need to keep reapplying every hour or so and because it applies itself so sheer, you don't end up looking extremely white! On top of that, it dries rather quickly and I felt happy putting some on my face this summer (I tend to have sensitive skin) - and not a problem! :)

Yes, it's really a dry-touch sunblock, best when in the summer you already feel sticky in the hot weather and then you had to put oily sunscreens on, yuck! Not anymore, this gem from neutrogena goes on smoothly and dries up to a non-greasy, non-sticky finish. My face didn't break out from using it, it's always a plus too. A little goes a long way and it has a very high spf, I have to recommend this sunblock, it's the best one around at the moment.

I absolutely love this sunscreen. I am very vigilant about applying 1/2tsp of sunscreen on my face and neck to get the proper protection, and I find a lot of other sunscreens get greasy when you use that amount, but this does not. It dries to a really nice matte finish, which serves as a primer underneath my foundation which is a real bonus for me - the fewer products the better, I say. I'll definitely be repurchasing this when I run out. My only complaint is the price - it's 3x here as it is in the US!!!

I have used this sunscreen for a few years. I use it under my make up in summer and on the mountain in winter. What first drew me to this product was the huge SPF, 85! Come on, can't beat that! Then once I tried it I was sold! It doesn't feel like a normal sunscreen on my skin it really is dry-touch. It feels like sunscreen in my hands but once applied to my face it dries to a primer-ish feel. This means it doesn't make my face oily, yay! It has a nice smell and lasts forever! It still allows my skin to breath even when I wear make up over the top, and it doesn't break me out, which is a huge deal because I am very prone to breakouts. So happy with this sunscreen :)

I have been using this daily under my makeup for at least two years and I am happy to keep buying it.

I'm always a fan of anything with a high SPF that doesn't make my foundation look terrible. It has a great non-greasy texture and doesn't feel too heavy. The added bonus is that it doesn't have a really typical sunscreen chemical smell to it and you barely notice that it’s there a few minutes after application.

I have never been caught out while wearing this one but admittedly I'm very vigilant about reapplication and staying out of the sun anyway.

This sunscreen seriously stays matte all day even with my oily skin. I'm impressed and especially with the price as well. The smell is mininal, but gentle. The texture is watery and after maybe 10-15 minutes of application my face becomes dry to touch. However I really do need to emphasis if you have acne or breaking out putting this sun screen might sting your skin. I'm not sure why but I definitely feel it. It's not very painful and doesn't last long. Maybe my skin is sensitive, I don't know. It doesn't hurt when I put it on clear skin though.

I really like this sunscreen. It is one of the best that I have used. I am very pale, and if I am going to be exposed to the sun, then sunscreen is a must in order to avoid getting burnt.

This sunscreen comes in an 85ml tube. The tube is mainly white in colour, fading to blue at the top. The sunscreen factor is 50+, and it claims to cover both UVA and UVB rays. It is also water-resistant. The sunscreen itself is a white cream, but it feels dry when it goes on. It is easy to squeeze from the tube and to massage onto skin. The scent is very mildly perfumed. It does not smell like sunscreen at all.

In the past a lot of sunscreens I have used have been greasy. They have felt slimy going onto the skin and left a greasy residue behind. Something about a lot of brands of sunscreen have also irritated my eyes. I found that my eyes would water just from having sunscreen near them on my face. What makes this sunscreen so great is that it is “dry-touch” as in, non-greasy, and it feels so light on the skin. The other amazing thing is that it does not irritate my skin or my eyes. They do not water at all when I wear this. The third benefit is that you can apply this directly over moisturiser, and then apply makeup over the top, and the sunscreen does not affect the application of the foundation or of any other makeup.

I have not suffered any skin burn while wearing this. It seems to be very effective at preventing sunburn and blocking out sun exposure. This is my preferred brand of sunscreen, especially for my face. A go-to for summer.

I was put on to this sunscreen through a scar Physio - it’s one that they recommend for best protection. I’ve used lots of other neutrogena products, but never the sunscreen so was eager to try.

It comes in a relatively small tube, and is quite expensive compared to other brands so it was a little bit of a shock! I figured it was worth a try though seeing as it came with glowing reviews, and anything that is extra good at fighting UVA has to be good right?

The product is a softly scented white cream. You only need a small amount as it spreads easily. This absorbs quite quickly, and doesn’t seem to leave any residue at all behind. No horrible greasy or smelly sunscreen feel - winning!

I didn’t experience any sunburn whatsoever with this sunscreen despite numerous days lazing in the pool and at the beach. Best of all - there was no irritation. No horrible weeping eyes; even with all the heat and sweat, the product didn’t run at all.

I wanted a non greasy, light facial sunscreen that was effective and this is a winner. Ticked all the boxes. Works well under makeup, didn't irritate my skin and I haven't been burnt while using it. High SPF too. This is a repeat purchase for me
