This sunscreen feels like it has great coverage, and isn't oily at all. Even though i have dry skin, it doesn't flake, and feels great. Only problem is that it feels a little powdery, so perhaps it falls off through the day? At least it doesn't feel like you're rubbing oil onto everything you touch. The sunscreen is enough for shopping around malls (ie. botany), but probably not for a picnic out in summer.

I hate hate hate getting burnt so I always try go for a higher SPF so when I forget to reapply i'm usually covered. Often when I apply sunscreen to my face it is overbearing and oily, this is the total opposite - it absorbs really fast doesn't make your skin oily, the smell isn't overpowering and doesn't linger. In all honesty I don't even notice I have sunblock on when wearing this :) go neutrogena!
Tips: Apply before your make up everyday then you will never get caught out - lets avoid those wrinkles for as long as possible :)
this ones not for me, I used it a couple of times and at first I liked it - like it says it is dry touch, nice consistency that does not leave my face oily, however it made me breakout like crazy, i think there's definitely better out there.
This is a lovely sunblock, makes a lovely base for makeup as well, bonus. I've tended to put to much on and it can tend to sit on the skin. It does have a slight smell does a complete blockout for me, so a little goes a long way and does last all day. Because it's a dry block it does keep the shine on your face down so good when your very hot and the sun exposure is extreme. A good size tube to take away.
Tips: It does seam to go on better when your face is completely dry and your moisturiser has soaked in.
I do like how this sunscreen isn't too greasy, though I have to moisturise very well before application, otherwise it's very hard to spread and I worry that I have patches of no sunscreen.
Neutrogena always has very high SPF in their sunblock, but I remember reading somewhere that selling something as over SPF 50 is misleading, because people think that they will be very very protected and may use less or something.... not sure if it was a NZ thing, but it was also something to do with the fact that SPF is a logarithmic scale, which doesn't mean that SPF 40 is double protection compared to SPF 20 which could also mislead people. Anyway, just a tangent. There doesn't seem to be as much of a white tint to this which is great.
Been using this for years for the face. It doesn't feel greasy at all and is easy to apply. Doesn't melt your makeup off your face if you use it under, and stays on for hours.
A while a go i got a few samples from Neutrogena. I got two little 14 ml samples of this sunblock. I have just came back from Australia and before that i hadn't used this sunblock , as i was trying to use up the other one i had but the samples were perfect for traveling! when i was in Australia i forgot to take a primer and only took a bb cream. So each morning i put this sunblock on before my bb cream! i didn't have a problem with it feeling thick or anything like that, it went on really smooth and dried fast. Has the normal sunblock smell. While in Australia i didn't get sun burnt at all using this! i didn't get any rash or irritation. The only thing that puts me off buying this is the price but because it actually works with SPF 85+ , i defiantly would buy this after my samples have run out and would recommend it to other people.
This sunscreen is brilliant. I used it most of last summer during the day while I lazed in the pool, and I didn't have to reapply it that often.
The formula is a very thick consistency and has the very familiar, comforting smell of sunblock. A 5cent sized dollop was enough for my face and shoulders, as it spread out. A little went a long way! It lasted for several hours, and I think I only reapplied once, and I wasn't burnt anywhere I had put sunblock, even using the small amount I had.
Great coverage, nice matte tube and I think a very good value for money.
This is my sunblock since I moved to NZ on 2009. I really did love it, but I don't think I'll be using it again. It felt heavy on my skin, like it felt really sticky and smells just like any other sunblock, and I get sick of the smell after using it for a while.
This product most certainly works but feels quite yuck on the skin quite a heavy dryness it feels on the skin I would not recommend this product to anyone that already has dry skin or uses a heavy full coverage foundation
