Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunblock

Of all the sunscreens I have used in my life, this one remains the most reliable. I have been using it, and its earlier iterations, for around 10 years. It doesn't smell or feel greasy, looks fine under makeup and doesn't come off in water. My only problem with it is the price - it can be pretty expensive when you have to use it everyday in summer. However, it is good quality and doesn't irritate skin, so it is still worth it.

I was put on to this sunscreen through a scar Physio - it’s one that they recommend for best protection. I’ve used lots of other neutrogena products, but never the sunscreen so was eager to try.

It comes in a relatively small tube, and is quite expensive compared to other brands so it was a little bit of a shock! I figured it was worth a try though seeing as it came with glowing reviews, and anything that is extra good at fighting UVA has to be good right?

The product is a softly scented white cream. You only need a small amount as it spreads easily. This absorbs quite quickly, and doesn’t seem to leave any residue at all behind. No horrible greasy or smelly sunscreen feel - winning!

I didn’t experience any sunburn whatsoever with this sunscreen despite numerous days lazing in the pool and at the beach. Best of all - there was no irritation. No horrible weeping eyes; even with all the heat and sweat, the product didn’t run at all.

This sunblock is my favourite. I received a little sample and as soon as I ran out of that I went out to purchase it. I was a bit surprised by the price, I'm used to paying about half that for a sunblock. But the ones I had been using were quite greasy and sticky, whereas this one really is Ultra sheer and I think the extra cost is worth that. It comes out quite thick but when it goes on my skin can breath and I'm not causing extra breakouts with a heavy, oily block. It has a nice light fragrance and great protection, have never been burnt while using it.

I have been using this daily under my makeup for at least two years and I am happy to keep buying it.

I'm always a fan of anything with a high SPF that doesn't make my foundation look terrible. It has a great non-greasy texture and doesn't feel too heavy. The added bonus is that it doesn't have a really typical sunscreen chemical smell to it and you barely notice that it’s there a few minutes after application.

I have never been caught out while wearing this one but admittedly I'm very vigilant about reapplication and staying out of the sun anyway.

Good product, didn't feel gluggy or greesy on my face like most sun screens and it seems to last for ages as I don't seem to need to apply heaps

I used this over the summer specifically for my face and neck and it worked great. It has a lightweight clean feel as the packaging says. I found it easy to rub in and it didn't make my skin oily. I have quite sensitive skin and find it hard to find a sunblock for my face that doesn't make me itchy or breakout and this one was perfect. It has a light scent and I like that it has a high SPF of 85+. I would recommend to friends and family, especially those with sensitve skin. I will definitely be repurchasing this summer.

The sunscreen is of thick consistency, but when you wear it on your skin it feels lightweight. The high SPF means that you only need to put the sunscreen on once and be protected from the sun.

This sunscreen seriously stays matte all day even with my oily skin. I'm impressed and especially with the price as well. The smell is mininal, but gentle. The texture is watery and after maybe 10-15 minutes of application my face becomes dry to touch. However I really do need to emphasis if you have acne or breaking out putting this sun screen might sting your skin. I'm not sure why but I definitely feel it. It's not very painful and doesn't last long. Maybe my skin is sensitive, I don't know. It doesn't hurt when I put it on clear skin though.
