I have found this great in the middle of winter when my hands are cracked and sore. It feels nice and makes them feel more comfortable straight away. It is very greasy though so I tend to just apply before bed or while watching tv.

Tips: Apply at bedtime
I have tried this handcream a few different times, however I don't think it is suited to my skin. It is quite a thick consistency and takes a while to rub it all into my skin. I would say, if you had severely dry hands, this would be a good option, but didn't suit me that well!
I used to suffered from 'contact dermatitus' and was recommended Neutrogena by my gp as a barrier cream. You only need a small amount and whilst it is quite greasy it soaks quickly into dry hand and maintains the condition of your skin when regularly applied.
Tips: Apply when you are able to sit for a while to allow it to soak into your skin. Avoid touching things that will be affected by oily products (especially paper products). Be aware that many people I have spoken to have had allergic reactions to Neutrogena, and so just apply a test area before using.
I'm not completely sold on this product. It does work and makes my hands feel amazing, but oh boy is it greasy and it takes aaaages to soak in. Also I like to have a nice scent in my hand creams because I am a girl and I can.
Tips: These can be picked up from most supermarkets for around $1 so I like to keep one in my car or purse as a just in case for hands, body or even emergency lipbalm if I was to be stranded without one of my 1000 lipbalms.
Is great for really dry cracked skin. My partner uses it as he has very rough hands with the work that he does. Great to have in the hand bag.
Tips: Great for dry lips if you can't find your chap stick!
Does moisturise dry hands, handy in the travel back size to keep in your hand bag without taking up much space but there are other moisturisers out there that are cheaper, smell nicer and do the same thing.
I found it really thick and greasy. I actually now use mine on my feet because its just to much for my hands. However, my mum loves it and she can have very dry hands so this just works wonders for her.
I work in Hospitality and I'm constantly washing my hands as I handle food, this leaves my hands very dry and always in need of a good moisturizer. I was at the supermarket and picked this up when I was in checkout line as they have the small version of this product just at the counter. I found it immediately made my hands feel smooth and hydrated so I brought the bigger version and still have some left! (It has been about 2 months). It also helps keep my dermatitis away which I only get on my hands due to dry skin. The only thing I felt was wrong with this product is the feeling that I have a layer of sticky cream on my hands for about 3 minutes which then goes away. I guess this means I'm using too much but I need to.
Tips: I found it amazing to help keep my dermatitis away! (May not work for everyone if you have the same problem)
I get very dry hands, so I tried this at night. I kept in my bedside table and used it every night. It was OK but did not absorb very well and left my hands feeling sticky.
This is a opaque white gel that holds its shape once out of the tube. You don't need much as it is pretty potent, it is meant for really dry skin, something that my hands are not at present.
It feels like it forms a layer on my skin while it takes it's time to absorb in the mean time my skin feels a little greasy for a good 15 minutes as it sinks in. It does make my hands softer.
You can pick up a small tube from the supermarket on your way through checkouts which for the size it is easy to stash anywhere so you can use it anywhere. I'm not planning on buying this again in a hurry.
Tips: Someone that has really dry hands or work is very hands on eg mechanic, may be best for this
