Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover Review

I wear gel liner on a daily basis, and this just removes it super easily! It says oil-free but it definitely feels oily, and leaves an oily residue, which I personally don't like, however, I just remove my makeup before I get into the shower so it's no biggie. I usually put some on a cotton pad (or tissue if I forgot to buy cotton pads), and just a little does the trick. I hold it over my eyes for a couple of seconds and when I swipe, it takes off most of the makeup. It smudges some of it, so to get rid of the smudged bits and the liner between my lashes, I soak a cotton bud with it and use it like a mascara wand to get off the stubborn bits - works like a dream! I really like that this remover does not sting your eyes! I've tried the Estée Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover and it stings so much for me, so I was so happy that I could find such a cheap and effective remover! I also like to use some to remove my brow products before washing my face as well - works great and I'd definitely buy it again!

This is a great makeup remover. It takes off all of your eyemakeup with little effort - you don't need to scrub your eyes or rub them. There could be the potential for irritation if you have sensitive eyes - it could irritate them so I would be careful about that. But for me I think it's a great product and would repurchase!

This stuff really works for me. It is probably the best eye makeup remover I have ever tired. And I've tried a few. It removes everything from waterproof eyeliner and mascara to heavy eye shadows and glitters. Brilliant!

This is probably the best make up remover that i have used. It just removes your eye make up with one quick swipe. Neutrogena say it is oil free but it feels a tad oily on my skin so i use it before i wash my face, no problems!

This Neutrogena makeup remover is one of the best! It completely removes all my eye makeup (waterproof mascara, eyeliner & liquid liner) It is very gentle when removing and no need for harsh rubbing. It has a oily feeling, so I always rinse my eyes with water after.

Overall I would highly recommend this product due to its success in removing makeup and its affordable cost.

This really works on any type of eye product you have on! To me this is very similar to lancome bi-facil eye makeup remover, so at a fraction of the price you are better off with this one. I must be like on my fourth bottle - it does what it is supposed too and is sooo gentle. On the daily I wear eye shadow, liner (liquid, gel, waterproof) and DollyWink volume mascara (if you haven't tried this it is the best but a pain to take off). It all comes off with Neutrogena's remover.

It says it's oil-free but it feels oily... funny that, but it's not a biggie. You are meant to rinse off afterwards anyways. I use it before jumping in the shower.

Highly recommended eye makeup remover!

I wear thick gel eyeliner everyday. And this small bottle tends to remove all of it at once (except for the eyeliner stuck between my lashes). Extra gentle formula is a bonus. It didnt hurt my eyes at all when I accidentally touched my eyeballs with the cotton pads (silly, but we all know it's not just me!) Such a great product- The only thing that stops me from buying is that now I use cleansing oil to remove all the make-up so I really don't need a separate bottle just for my eyes . If I wore a light make-up, I would definitely use it again.

When I initially tried the nutrogena eye make up remover I admit I was skeptical of how it was going to pull though, BUT, I have to admit it is extremely good! I find I need to use a very little amount (put a make up removes pad over the opening, turn the bottle upside down and that is enough) and it is great at removing all my mascara etc in literally a couple of wipes!

Great makeup remover at an affordable price :-) It removes most makeup easily but I find some eye makeup can be a bit stubborn to remove, particularly eyeliner. I find dipping a cottonbud in the makeup remover and using that to run over the eyeliner really helps and using that method this remover works quite well. It feels a bit oily afterwards though and I usually wash my face with cleanser after using this, but it's not big enough of a deal to put me off repurchasing.

Love this basic and recent addition to my cabinet. It's just a teeny weeny a bit too oily for my liking but for how affordable it is I can't complain! It definitely does a good job at removing all makeup.
