It is actually a very gentle toner , it does not burn my skin or cause any irritations ,but it does not do much more to my skin like shrinking the pores or reducing the acnes , it hydrates my skin a little bit ,but not causing it more oily .

I've always used a toner in my daily facial routine, but the pore refining toner makes my skin feel tight and dry. It also smells like it has a lot of alcohol in it so be sure not to get it in your eyes. I feel like paying $16 for a toner from the supermarket is a bit steep where most others are closer to the $11-$13 range. I wouldn't use this again
I have used this product in the past and found it was pretty good, a tiny bit stingy but felt like my pores were tightening up using this in tandem with the other products in the Neutrogena pore tightening range. However I purchased this product recently and for some reason my skin did not like it at all. It stung badly and after a week of evening perseverance I gave up. To the product a break I believe this wasn't the product but just my skin's has changed since last used some time ago. So I can't really say if it would have worked this time as I couldn't use it for long enough. I would recommend it to others due to prevous experience but would warn them that if their skin was sensitive or going through a sensitive patch just try a little first.
Tips: Test a little on a small section first.
A friend who knows a lot about skin gave me a few tips, and got me into some new skincare. While I waited to buy a Korean pH neutral toner, she suggested this as it is apparently one of the best available in the western skincare market (at least I think that's what she said!). I found mine at Countdown but I know they are available at Farmers too.
I paid between $14-$17 for mine, and for 250ml I thought it was reasonable. I've had mine for a few months and as I only use it when I use my AHA's and BHA's I haven't used a lot, so it's lasted a really long time so far. The liquid is clear and has a pleasant smell once you get passed the awful alcohol smell.
I put this on a cotton pad and wipe it over my face. I learned to wait after putting it on the cotton pad, as the alcohol smell is super potent and awful and I would end up coughing for ages, so be wary. Used with my acids it worked fine, and I liked it. I won't be repurchasing this as it wasn't pH neutral and the alcohol smell was just too much.
I used my points to pick up the cleanser and exfoliator from this range in the vault, and had to go out and buy the toner too to really test out the range! Overall I did quite like the products but I didn't notice any kind of change in my pore size or texture so I can't say that they did what was promised. This toner was nothing special to me, it was just a very strong, alcohol smelling toner that felt quite intense on the skin. In some ways I like that as I feel like it really cleans the skin but I also think it's probably a bit too intense and possible damaging.
First impressions of this toner were the unpleasant scent upon opening, it has a very strong alcohol/ chemical scent. I found the opening for the toner was a little large and too much product came out at once. I applied with a cotton pad and upon impact with my skin, I experienced a burning sensation and afterwards my skin was left feeling tight. I am unable to discuss whether the toner lived up to the promises on the packaging as I had to stop using it due to the burning sensation.
Tips: Do a patch test first to check that this won't burn your skin, if you have sensitive skin.
My skin feels super clean but dry after using it that i must use moisturizer straight away. It makes my skin soft, smooth, clearer but i dont like the strong alcohol smell. Not sure if i will repurchase. Also havent noticed any change at pores size.
