Oasis Beauty Sun SPF 30+ Review

I've been using the Oasis Sunscreen now for a couple of weeks. The container is easy to carry with a flip lid and stands up with the lid facing downwards so when you open it; it comes out without having to push too much.

In the school holidays we were going on walks every second day and my daughter and I were using the Oasis Sun each time we went out. We found it very easy to spread onto our face, arms and legs. I didn't mind the smell, but my daughter did mention she didn't like it. We found if we reapplied the sunscreen every two hours like the instructions said then we didn't get burnt. Once on a walk, I didn't take it with me and we did come home quite red faced with the heat of the sun after a whole day out.

I have also tested this out on the rest of the family who play tennis and the boys' liked it as it was so easy to apply, not too runny and we all found it excellent. My skin is sensitive, but I had no problem at all with Oasis Sun.

Sunscreen is something i've always loathed it tends to be greasy, stinky, clogs pores, stains clothes and makes my skin feel kind of dirty, THIS sunscreen inflicts none such nonsense! I was luckily sent this product to trial and was impressed to see shea butter, jojoba & vitmain E in it, all skin care ingredients I use regularly.

This sunscreen lotion looks much like any other it's white, neither thick or thin the consistency is what I would call perfect for a sunscreen lotion. The scent is mild and natural with just a hint of that very typical sunscreen scent, zinc. The packaging is very appealing particuarly if you're very fussy when it comes to sunscreen which I am, and indicates that it should certainly be suitable for absolutely everyone.

When applied this lotion feels weightless on the skin, slightly oily to the touch in a good way, hydrating. It's hydrating enough that I've been using it as a summer substitute for moisturizer on my face, underneath my makeup and it doesn't affect my makeup application or wear. As recommended on the tube reapplication is required every 2-3 hours, after around 3 hours it seems to have fully absorbed into the skin.

This is by far the best sunscreen lotion i've ever tried although it's a hell of a lot pricer than what i've ever paid for a sunscreen. But because sunscreen is such an important product for everyone particuarly here in ozone layer depletion NZ, it's probably worth the money to wear sunscreen comfortably with the benefits of being natural & cruelty free, and be safe in the sun!

The first thing I notice about this product is it promises a lot, from the get-go I had high expectations. It did not disappoint.

You only need small amount of this product as it goes a long way. It is easy to rub in to your skin and so deliciously moisturising, I have been using it on my legs in the morning to give them a moisture boost. I find it is very slight whitening but this is me being very nitpicky.

I mixed equal parts of this sunscreen with my morning surem and let that soak into my skin for a few minutes before applying my makeup. I will admit I was conserned that because I have oily skin my makeup would slide around or my skin would be more oily than normal. I did not notice any difference in my skin throughout the day, my makeup wore as it normal did.

I also have sensitive skin, particularly on my face. I didn't not notice any irritation on my body. There was a slight irritation on my face, however it went way quickly and did not cause any noticeable redness or lasting affect.

There was no white mark transfer on my clothing, which is awesome. You can feel that you have something on your skin, however, it was not greasy or slippery in any way.

I really enjoy using this product, it's great that it is curelty free and make in New Zealand. Over all I highly recommend this product.

I feels like I've tried them all and been highly uncomfortable with the chemical content of the mainstay of products on the market. As a family of four including a preschooler and a baby, I need something that suits us all and protects properly, as we all suits my skin. I love the fact that this is a natural block product without the piles of nasties. It feels non greasy and lightweight, but not drying for the body and face, and does not cause breakouts for me which is a plus! A little goes a long way too which is important with a higher priced item like this. Never had a burn using this which is always a comforting factor, and pleased I can use on my littlest one too this coming summer. Can't rate highly enough!

I bought this sunblock for my daughter and myself, we are both allergic to most other brands of sunscreen and to find this, and be SPF 30+ was a bonus!! It is a thicker, creamer texture than normal sunblocks, but I find this helpful and okay especially because you know where you have put the product. It is easy to rub in and a little does go a long way so you get your bang for your buck! It works well for my dry and sensitive skin.

It has a slight summery scent, I find it quite pleasant. The packaging is great, super handy that it comes in three sizes. I always have the smallest one in my handbag. I have recommended it to other Mums at our playgroup and convinced 4 others to buy it aswell!

I'm particularly bad at remembering to put sunscreen on myself and especially don't like the filmy feel left by most sunscreens but this product felt very different and even though it was so light, easy to apply and easily absorbed it really did protect against the sun and that was proven when used on the kids sensitive skin too. Maybe a wee bit on the pricey side but great knowing it had no nasty chemicals in, especially when using it on my littlies. Any friends that used it too (when they had forgotten theirs during those blistering summer months!) also commented on how lovely it felt and all went on to purchase some for themselves!

I love this product. It is light enough to wear under makeup. Not full on chemicals so i don't react to it like every other sunblock i have ever warn. It makes wearing sunblock daily easy! Rain or shine i wear this sunblock not just because its good for you skin but because it also feels like a moisturizer. my skin is always felt looking lustrous and healthy. Love Love Love!

OMG. I love how organic and natural this is. I ordered a sample online (3 free samples allowed) and it arrived in this cute little purple pot. I've been using it for the last couple of days and it's protected me really well. I usually get burnt super easily and to make matters worse my skin gets bad reactions to the combination of sunscreen+sunburn. So I have to be very careful with how often I apply my sunscreen and how thick it is. I feel that this hasn't agitated my face at all and I'm really happy about how non-existent it feels. Seriously wish it was cheaper but I suppose that comes from it being organic.

I have used TONS of sunscreens over the years, both natural based and chemical based. Nothing takes the prize like Oasis sunscreen! It was light, non greasy, AND DIDN'T MAKE MY SKIN PASTY WHITE like SO many sunscreens! It is pleasantly scented and light enough to still be able to war a moisturizer underneath (one of my pet hates of sunscreen, is when they just feel so gross you couldn't even bear to wear another moisturizer over the top!). An awesome natural product that not only is kind to skin and the environment but also delivered on protecting my skin while still being affordable! 10 out of 10 in my opinion!

Not overally happy with this sunscreen. I think it is very pricey considering that it is only SPF 30. It says non-greasy but I found it to be rather greasy, however the bonus is that it is suitable for sensitive skin which I find a lot of other sunscreens don't cater for.
