I was excited to try this as I haven't used nivea since I was in school and remembered the smell was pleasent. When I opened the pot it was full right up to the brim which I thought was generous, as soon as I applied it to my face in the morning after cleansing and noticed how lovely and soft it smelt, wasn't over powering at all. the feel of it on my skin was not heaving and didn't need alot to cover face and neck area, I did break out a little in the first week however only very slightly and it calmed down after that.I noticed my wrinkle weeny a prominent and kept my skin moisturized all day, this has a spf 15 which sold me at first, anything with spf has got to be a good skin protection from the sun how ever I had to apply a stronger spf on top to keep my skin from being sun burnt due to my sensitive skin, I will keep using this as only quarter of pot has been used and I'm happy with the overall results so far

Tips: Would recommend using a higher spf over this if you have sun sensitive skin
I had high hopes for this cream as it said it would remove fine lines and wrinkles. I have a few of those - on the outsides of my eyes, above my lip and a couple in the centre of my forehead. This is quite a thick heavy cream and It has the trade mark Nivea smell and consistency. I found that I had to go easy on my chin area or I tended to start to get little breakouts. Nothing major but enough considering I normally don't have any. I also found at the beginning of the trial when it was still warmer weather that it took a bit of time to soak in....I felt that while I was getting ready for work before putting my make up on I was almost perspiring on my face after using the cream. I have either perfected the amount I use (a little does go a long way) or the cooler weather has made a difference. I did like this cream and will continue to use it. I will be very interested to see how it goes in the summer months as I am not good at remembering to put sunblock on my face so having his under my make up might work out in that regards. I so wanted this to be the easy miracle cream and I think it has worked a little. My face seems to feel smoother and plumper and the lines may have reduced slightly. Not quite the miracle I was hoping for but the lines are definitely not as deep.
Tips: A little really does goes a long way. I found that I could go a little heavier where my lines were but had to ease up and use sparingly on my chin area to avoid tiny pimples.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product smelt a lot like the Nivea cream I grew up with. After using the product for about four weeks I can't honestly say I noticed any change to fine lines or wrinkles but I don't worry to much about my life etchings and am realistic about my expectations of face creams. But despite this I found the product really nice to use. It absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling we'll moisturised. It was gentle on my skin so it didn't irritate my sometimes sensitive skin. So overall a good product.
Tips: Great for under makeup
50mls SPF 15, has a nice nivea fragrance, i love how it comes with spf 15, goes on smoothly and you don't have to use alot, i found my skin was smoother and no breakouts as the cream seems very rich, so was worried about that. have not really noticed it helping the fine lines around my eyes, but a great price and you can get it from the supermarket so that is a bonus, would love to try the rest of the range.
Tips: goes along way only small amount needed
i have to say I didn't have overly high hopes for this product but I think you actually get really good value for money.
Nice basic, functional packaging, and a nice gentle fragrance to it. The texture is nice and not too gluggy like some anti wrinkle creams can be.
It went really well on my skin for the first few weeks but over time my skins gradually started breaking out which is a bummer. I can't say I've noticed any major improvement as far as anti wrinkle goes ( bummer could do to lose a few creases) but apart from the eventual breakouts (I have sensitive skin so lucky it didn't come earlier) it's nice coverage without glugginess and makeup sits nice over top and skin does look brighter
Tips: dont use if you have overly sensitive skin
I received this free from Beauty Review to trial. It arrived just after Easter and I've been using it every morning since, and some evenings. I've used less than a quarter of the pot over this time. Overall I'm pretty pleased with this cream. It absorbs well, without being greasy. It plumps my skin up a bit, not necessarily reducing wrinkles but making them appear a bit shallower. I don't think it has influenced skin renewal but my skin does seem a bit firmer. I don't usually use a thick cream like this (basically a cold cream) but I found the early days with this were good and it was absorbed well. In the cooler weather of the last couple of weeks though I've found it a bit heavy for my skin and slower to melt in. A lotion version might be better for my skin over winter. One thing that I really don't like is the fragrance. It is the usual NIVEA fragrance, used for years, and it's not an unpleasant scent. But it's way too strong for me. With some products you get used to the fragrance after a while but with this, every application gives a strong scent that I don't like on my face. If there was an unscented version, I'd like it a lot more. Packaging is simple, classy, robust.
Tips: Best to apply straight after a shower while the skin is warm and open.
This cream is lovely and rich with a nice perfume. I thought the packaging was very classy for a lower cost anti-age cream. Unfortunately for me, it was too rich for my skin and gave me break outs! My beautician also thought that it was dryer in patches than with my normal moisturiser. I did think that my fine lines were improved but not sure anyone else noticed as I didn't receive any comments about it! I wouldn't use it again due to the break outs, however, I would recommend to friends to give it a try should they be looking for a low cost anti-age cream. I did find that the thickness of the cream meant that a little went a long way so it is definitely a value for money moisturiser. All in all, I do think it is a good product, just not one that suits my strange skin.
Tips: It's such a rich cream that start with a little amount and build from there.
I was lucky enough to get this product for free from the last beauty vault and I'm happy that I didn't pay 28.00 for it. In fairness it is a nice enough cream, it has the traditional clean Nivea fragrance (which I like) and has a nice creamy consistency. The cream itself offers a little sun protection (SPF15) and does provide a decent amount of hydration. I find the cream absorbs nicely into my skin but does leave a slight sticky residue. I have naturally dry, sensitive eczema prone skin and find this cream to be fine on it unless I am going through an awful eczema flare up where my skin is broken then this cream does sting slightly.
This cream has it's good points but as far as the anti-aging claim I have to say that it is just not true. This cream didn't improve my skin texture nor did it reduce any existing wrinkles. I picked it up from the vault because of the anti-aging claims and sadly it just didn't deliver. It is a nice enough cream but it is not different from any other Nivea cream. I personally think it is over priced as it only really provides moisture to the skin.
Just a so-so product. Neither great nor bad. Feels okay initially but do not get a sense that it delivers long term with regards to the claims it makes. Price point reflects that though with the product being under the $30 mark.
Tips: Perhaps more suited to younger skin in the prevention of lines and wrinkles than for more mature skin in reversing the effects of ageing?
Don't know about you, but for me, Nivea was the cream my Mum used in the 80's. So when I received this sample, in a pot with that similar shape, I was a bit skeptical. Upon removing the lid, I was immediately taken back to my Mum's bedroom, smelling that pleasant familiar scent. I've always liked that Nivea smell, so I was pleasantly surprised to find they had not taken that. away The cream itself is lovely to use. Its silky, goes on like a dream and is instantly absorbed. There is no tight feeling or greasy aftertaste. Because its so easy to use, you don't need much, making it very economical. As for the anti ageing claims? Well, my skin does feel softer and brighter. My fine lines are not numerous (combination of good genes and good cake) so its a little hard to tell if that claim works. But overall I am happy that this has made a difference to my skin which was a bit blah before I started using the cream. Has Nivea successfully re invented itself? I'd say yes - without losing the good things about it that have made it an iconic skin care brand.
