NIVEA Express Hydration Moisturising Lotion Review

I was given this along with a bunch of other products at a winter festival whilst living in Canada. During winter in Ottawa, the temperature often sits around minus 10, meaning all the moisture in the air freezes. Everything is super dry, your hair turns to straw, you get electric shocks all the time and my skin was the driest it's ever been.

Prior to this I'd only ever used moisturisor on my face, or once in a blue moon on my legs after shaving if I was going out. But this stuff is incredible.

It is thick and super creamy, straight white with no real scent. It applies and absorbs easily. It leaves your skin feeling soft and supple, and it really lasts. I never found that I had to reapply between showers. I never found it irritating, even on grazed skin.

It's super affordable, super available and I haven't found a longer lasting body moisturisor in all my travels. Highly recommended!

This is a good everyday moisturiser. It doesn't provide intense hydration, but is a good general moisturiser that you can use on a daily basis. I like to use this after my shower on my legs, so although they aren't particularly dry, I like to put moisturiser on to prevent them from getting dry.

I would say this more like a body lotion because it is quite thin and has light moisturising affects. The moisturiser comes in a bottle with a pump. The pump is good as it allows to get the product out easily given the runny texture of it. I use one big pump, sometimes two for each of my legs. The scent is very fresh, not strong smelling and very clean smelling. This moisturiser is a light lotion which easily absorbed into the skin and doesn't leave a residue or dewy feeling afterwards.

Overall, although this is not the best moisturiser for intense hydration, it is not designed for intense hydration but more of a light moisturiser. I would but this again for everyday use on my legs.

This lotion is great, it has a light, inoffensive fragrance, absorbs very quickly (roughly 2mins). I use this 4 hours after shaving my legs and have gotten no razor bumps or dry patches since using. Love that it has a pump, only issue is that the pump gives too much into the hand, you only need a little bit, unless you have very long legs!

I have dry skin and have to moisturise after showering. I’ve tried a lot of moisturisers and this is by far my favourite for everyday as it is affordable, has a subtle clean scent, does not irritate the skin, is a good consistency (not too thick) and provides great hydration to the skin.

This lotion is lovely to use, spreads well and absorbs easily into skin. Nicely hydrating and not rich, good for normal to oily skin

I've used this lotion for a long time and, although I switch over to other brands from time to time, I always go back to this one. I prefer lotions that are not too heavy and this one has the perfect consistency for me. It does hydrate quite well but it's maybe not the best for those that have really dry skin. The smell is quite pleasant and not too strong. Lastly, you can't beat the price as you can usually pick this up for around $6-7 at any supermarket.

A great pick me up for the skin, it absorbs well and your skin is soft, well hydrated and lovely scented, which kind of reminds me of summer times, It's affordable, it's great to have in your bathroom. The bottle is pleasant and easy to hold, although I would prefer a pump dispenser. I do recommend it to people, as it's a great go to product especially after the sun.

This moisturiser is good. I bought it again after trying and failing with sticky Aveeno. My criteria for non-facial moisturiser is that it has to have the husband tick of approval for fragrance, absorb quickly, and not leave my skin sticky or greasy, This does all those things and it's also quite cheap. Next thing to try is to see if my face can tolerate it without breaking out.

easy to apply and hydrates really well with quick absorbency... I alternate between different body moisturizers depending on the season and how dry my skin feels.... but this is definitely one of the reliable, great value for money product - doesn't disappoint.

When I had my car accident over a year ago now, My stepmum bought me a whole lotta skincare products (mainly for restoration and healing but I felt very pampered as well) and this Moisturising Lotion was one of them. I love this stuff, its super hydrating and keeps you moisturised and feeling fresh all day. I find it lasts super long as well, you only need a tiny bit for a large area and its not a super thick product so it doesnt make your body feel trapped kinda thing. There's not really much of a smell to it in relation to fragrance but you can smell clean, fresh and what I think 'pure' would smell like. i definitely use (or try to when I remember) this everyday or as much as I can.
