I didn't have high hopes for this when I got it, but it has turned out to be really good! I frequently run out of time when I have to be somewhere in the morning and its moisturizing that often is left out (I throw a bottle in my bag, but don't always get to use it), so I have found this really helpful in that i jump in the shower, use this and I can be off without feeling like my skin is sandpaper. I still keep moisturizer with me because my skin drys out pretty fast, but this has definitely helped me out!

NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner For Very Dry Skin Review
NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner is a new and more convenient way to moisturise. Now you can quickly moisturise before you even get out of the shower.
Application is a breeze and works in four simple steps
1. WASH - Cleanse with shower gel as usual and rinse off
2. APPLY – Stepping back from the shower stream, apply a generous amount of NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion. You’ll be amazed how quickly it rubs in
3. RINSE – The caring formula will immediately be absorbed by your skin and then you can rinse off
4. READY– Dry off and you can get dressed immediately!

Tips: I like using this when I shave my legs. Get the right one for your skin type.
I received a sample of this in the mail and was willing to give it a go. Unfortunately this product isn't for me, the whole concept of it doesn't work for me (i have super dry skin) and so still felt the need that i had to apply body lotion on my body once out of the shower. This also doesn't act as a body wash, so you still need to use body wash as well first; so instead of really putting lotion on after the shower, you can do it during, and then wash it off?? Just one of those products i cant really work out haha! This product didn't do anything for my skin, i didn't notice any difference in the silkiness of my skin once stepping out. Sorry Nivea, i wont be repurchasing.
I don't mean to be harsh because I know lots of people love this product but it really didn't help me at all. I used it the way as directed but I just didn't like it!! I really didn't find it helped at all and I still felt the need to apply my body butter afterwards!
It felt very silky when I rubbed it into my skin, which I really liked. It has a nice scent to it as well, but as soon as I washed it off, the scent washed off with it which was a bit of a shame, but when I got out of the shower, I put a little bit on my arms (still wet) and just rubbed it into my skin then used the 'pat dry' method and it left my skin smelling quite nice. I even noticed that after putting my moisturizer on, my skin felt more hydrated and it didn't give me that 'sticky' feeling. So over all, I'm quite pleased with the results.
I seem to be in the minority but I adore this product. I thought that it would be a gimmicky product that would only gunk up my shower and make it slippery but it is amazing. It truly sinks in the second it hits your skin and makes it alot more tempting to moisturise places such as your back and neck which are usually missed with regular lotion due to the difficulty reaching in and thorougly rubbing the lotion into these places, somehow the combination of this product and the water on your skin make it slide on perfectly and then a quick rinse and you are done - no greasy stuff sticking to your clothes you can get dressed instantenously without waiting for your lotion to absorb. I would advise giving the tub/base of shower a quick wipe over with a sponge before exiting just to make sure you dont leave any product to cause slipping for the next person to use the cubicle but generally with weekly bath cleaning I dont notice it makes the tub any greasier or slippery than one of those super moisturising body washes or soaps. This dry skin formula smells amazing - just like the original Nivea Creme which I love (I love all vintagey cosmetics i.e. Nivea Creme, rose water, olay beautyfluid and ponds) so this is my kind of scent but I can see how others may not like it if they don't like the vintagey rose lemony vibe of this product. I have given up my regular lotions and as long as this isn't discontinued I won't look back.
Got this in my goodie box too, showered with it this morning, and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I've tried a few Nivea products and never thought them that good, but I like this skin conditioner. It made me feel so smooth and didn't think you could actually condition your skin lol. Great and smells nice too.
When I saw the adverts for this product I refused to believe the claims, it seemed so mediocre to me considering that no matter how often I exfoliate, use a hydrating body wash and use a luscious, thick lotion my skin never seems to be smooth, supple and hydrated. As I am signed up with Nivea I received a sample of this in the mail and though sceptical I decided to give it a go - boy was I impressed. I was sent samples of the blue one (for very dry skin) and one little packet did my entire body. Firstly it smells amazing, it's very creamy and rich, the formula is quite slippery and it soaks in well to the wet skin. I let mine sit for a few minutes before rinsing and when I get out my skin is heavenly smooth! I find that with this I only need to use it 1-2 times a week as my skin stays hydrated for longer now, it's amazing! It doesn't irritate my skin after shaving either which is a bonus as that's when I prefer to apply this. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone! I went out and purchased a full size bottle on special for $6 at Countdown and I still have a lot left as you really don't need much. I am very impressed and in love with this!
I've been using this product for the last few months and I have enjoyed using it. My legs don't feel dry or tight after i get out of the shower and I don't need to keep constantly moisturising them Like I have needed in the past. would definitely recommend to others
Recently, I received a few free samples of this product and I was pleasantly surprised. I found the whole process quick and easy, all that's required is for you to step out of the way of the shower flow breifly, apply (which takes no time at all), rinse, dry and voilà! Exactly as it says and living up to the claims it makes. I was impressed by how smooth and hydrated my skin felt and looked and this lasted until my next shower the following day so I can't complain at that! I'd definitely recommend it and think it would be especially beneficial to people on the go or those who haven't quite mastered a routine of moisturising. My only niggle is I now have to wait to go shopping so I can purchase a bottle because I've run out of samples! :(
I thought this would be very different to how it actually was. Its just body wash with baby oil in it. Very bad for your skin and your pores and leaves you with that gross oily feeling. Wont be using anymore even though I paid $10 for the tub!
Tips: Rub it off your body with a towel afterwards
