NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner For Very Dry Skin Review

I received NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner as part of the gorgeous December BR Beauty box.

This comes in a monster 400ml bottle, which is going a long way. I like the opening is 'upside down' as you will be able to use every last bit.

This is a light fragrance that does stay on your skin. The Skin Conditioner is quite thick in texture but honestly, a little does go a long way.

When applying in the shower, I massage the Skin Conditioner in thoroughly and leave on for a minute before rinsing off. It does absorb in to my skin quite fast and feels silky.

Haha make sure you rinse the floor of your shower as it does get on the slippery side of things with the residue.

My skin does feel soft and moisturised but not as moisturised as if I did this 'after my shower' like I normaly would.

The NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner does not leave anything behind on your towel either.

This is a big bottle the flip top lid is on the bottom so it sits on the lid so no shaking this all the stuff is there ready to use. This is a nice shape to hold fat at the bottom and thinner at the top it's big but surprisingly easy to hold even with slippery hands. This is a white thick cream it does have a soft fresh powdery scent, I do like the fragrance, it doesn't linger so no inter mingling with my perfume. So I wash myself with my usual body wash and while I'm still in the shower not standing directly under the water I smooth this over my skin and then rinse this off and dry. This does go really nice on wet skin and is easy to rub around and rinse off. He he it does nearly feel a little naughty standing there rubbing it all over. So a treat for my senses and my skin. I must admit it's nice to dry myself get dressed and easily slip into my clothes and no fighting jeans that are grabbing my skin because of a little bit off moisturiser is left on my skin making it tacky. This was so nice to try and I had no irritation especially after shaving and my skin felt soft using this, it did feel like it was coated with a barrier more than it had a cream soak in. My shower was very slippery when I used this and took a bit to clean it as well. I love the concept of this and I will use this now and then.

I received this in the BR beauty box and have been using for several weeks now. I really love the concept of moisturizing my skin whilst in the shower - especially when I am getting ready for work. Yes it does make the shower mat a bit slippery, but I leave the water running for a bit and this seems to fix the problem. This Moisturiser leaves my skin feeling really smooth and I have noticed my elbows are so smooth now!!

I have to admit I was very skeptical about this product. It seems very strange to moisturise in the shower but after my first use I was hooked.

I love how the bottom of the bottle has a flip top lid so that it is easy to use and the bottle size of 400ml is great as it lasts awhile. I thought as this was different to a body wash that it may leave me legs feeling a tad slimy but after hoping out of the shower my legs felt smooth and soft. For someone like me who oftens neglects moisturising my body I find this to be a great time saver.

For the price, pack size and simple use. I will definitely be repurchasing

When this was one of the items in the BR Beauty box, I was very excited ! I have wanted to try this for ages, and the concept of already having moisturised by the time you step out of the shower really appeals to me. I liked the big size bottle, as you use quite a lot if you do your legs , arms and upper body, and its easy to squirt out and rub into your skin. The fragrance is quite neutral, I like things to be a bit more fragranced, but that's just personal choice.However I found that this one for dry skin, to be not nearly moisturising enough. I still found that in the summer , my legs were still quite dry throughout the day and that I needed a stronger product. So I bought the one for very dry skin, and I still found it to be not moisturising enough for me in the summer, when my skin is a lot dryer than the winter. I have used the Lush Ro's Argan body conditioner, and I really found this to be superior to this Nivea one (although its also four times the price!) The lush product left a barrier on my skin and it felt soft and smooth all day, which the Nivea product didn't achieve. I will use the rest of the product up, but I don't feel it quite gets there in terms of being effective.

I received this in the first beauty box and was intrigued as I've never really heard of an in shower moisturiser before. The product has a nice subtle fragrance and does move other the skin easily, however I feel like you need to use quite a lot of product to get the desired results. I find that due to shaving my legs do get quite dry and don't find that this product is enough for me to use without having to slather on moisturiser afterwards. Overall, its a product I'll use once in a while but I wouldn't purchase it once this bottle is finished as I don't feel like its overly beneficial to my skin

Was very very excited to use this after receiving in my Beauty Box! The size is huge and would last a really long time! The package is appealing and scent is quite light and not overwhelming.

The cap is great and can squeeze out the right amount without wastage. However you do need quite a bit to do legs, arms and body.

Unfortunately my legs reacted to this each time i tried it. My arms didnt react however they really didnt feel overly moisturized after my application, and still needed to apply moisturizer or body butter after my shower.

Overall it seems a great concept but was disappointing for me

After receiving this in my BR beauty box, I was really keen to try this. Its a really good concept, and thowing into the mix the bottle size and the price and I was really intrigued.

Overall the product was nice and pleasant. The smell was particularly nice clean smell with a very pleasing texture. I found the product a little hard to get out of the bottle and needed quite a bit to fully moisturise.

While the application was good, it wasnt enough to keep my legs moisturised throughout the day, and the impact was not as good as the old fasioned way of moisturising ( more's the pity)

As much as I wanted to fall in love with this product, its just not standout enough for me. This is the sort of thing I would buy on deal occasionally, but not enough to move away from another product

I saw the advertisements for this on the TV and of course like everyone else i was skeptical and thought "moisturising in the shower???" how on earth does that work!! So i ignored that and looked at all the tubs of gloop i had in my bathroom thinking i better use that all up first before i experience anything else. Needless to say i am now 5 months pregnant and need all the moisturiser i can get with my stretching skin and this is perfect for the shower before work where i dont have enough time to ply on the bio-oil and wait for it dry before getting dressed. Best thing ever!!! It does not have an overpowering smell which is key with my super sensitive nostrils. And keeps my skin soft until i get home for the nightly OIL ;)

So i was lucky enough to get on of these to try. I thought well this different but ill give it a go. It most definitely does what it says, my skin is silky smooth afterwards. Very easy to use. you just chuck it on just like a shower gel. no need to moisture after which is prefect for me as i never moisture after which is bad and i wonder why my skin is so dry haha. My only niggly thing about it is the bottle. I found it difficult to get anything out when it got closer to the bottom. The bottle was hard to grip and very hard to squeeze anything out with wet hands. I would buy this product again but i would hope that maybe sometime down the track that nivea will change the bottle somehow.
