I have pretty dry skin, so am always on the look out for new products to help with it. I got a sample of this, and tried it last night. What a disappointment. First off, it smelled like men's deodorant which is not ideal for a product that I'd imagine mostly women would use. Unscented would be much better, or a more feminine scent. Then I rubbed it on, and washed off as instructed. I felt a bit sticky afterwards, and had to wait a while to get dressed which was not great. I feel a bit less dry today, which I suppose is good, but I'd certainly never choose this over any other generic body moisturiser. A real shame, for something that had the prospect of being a very cool and handy product.

NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner For Very Dry Skin Review
NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner is a new and more convenient way to moisturise. Now you can quickly moisturise before you even get out of the shower.
Application is a breeze and works in four simple steps
1. WASH - Cleanse with shower gel as usual and rinse off
2. APPLY – Stepping back from the shower stream, apply a generous amount of NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion. You’ll be amazed how quickly it rubs in
3. RINSE – The caring formula will immediately be absorbed by your skin and then you can rinse off
4. READY– Dry off and you can get dressed immediately!

this is a fab produc it does what it says ! the only problem i have is the massive bottle its not that handy for woman with small hands which is most of us
I'm a bit ummm-ahhhh about this product. It made my skin feel great, but having to stop showering and then start again after applying it was a bit tedious after the third day. I do suffer from dry skin on my legs, which can get really itchy at times, so I did notice an improvement in the smoothness after the first use, but I'm just not sure I should be extending my shower time, even by a few minutes (I probably already spend WAAAAY to much time in there already). I'll keep using it and see if my opinion changes at a later date, I suppose the extra few minutes in the shower negate having to moisturise afterwards.
Tips: Don't mess any on the shower floor... It makes the floor extra slippery :)
The first time I used this I jumped out of the shower thinking it had a nice fresh scent and yes it moisturised but I didn't feel wow! Then I dried off and oh my goodness! I was itchy! I went to bed about. Half hour later and I was still itching away! The next morning I felt my skin was just normal, not amazingly moisturised or anything. I tried it again the next night and there was less itching except for a spot on my arm and side of stomach. No rash or anything just itchy! My sister likes this so I think I might pass it on to her, I'll stick to my normal moisturiser. Plus I don't think it saves time, I'm not convinced it makes moisturising any easier at all!
I had really expected not to like this product, as I had tried the skin conditioner from lush which left my skin filmy and rubbery, and I wound up spending ages trying to wash it off- it really stuck on! Awful. So when I got the opportunity to sample this I figured I might as well, then be done with the idea of a skin conditioner, but despite my expectation that a cheaper product would be even worse, but I was pleasantly surprised. My skin felt smooth, soft and hydrated. Not amazing, but it is nice.. I didn't feel like the product sunk into my skin the way it says it will, but it definitely moisturised. I wouldn't rush out to buy this, but for the price, worth it.
OK - I don't hate this product at all but wouldn't bother with again as the moisturising effect isn't that great and the smell is pretty bad. It's not really a time saver as either, if you moisturise after you shower you're spending the time anyway. I feel you get a better result from moisturising out of the shower, didn't really feel like I managed to get it all over me either.
I'll just start by explaining that most of these showers these days are spent playing peek a boo with the curtain while being watched by a baby with a limited amount of patience. In a way this product seems perfect for me as I usually don't bother with moisturiser. On the other hand I have enough to get done in the limited amount of shower time I have as it is without adding another step. I got a couple of free samples of this product and it's the sort of thing I would use maybe half of the time. I won't be buying it though as I already have about a dozen half used bottles of regular moisturiser and just can't justify it.
Tips: If you're lucky enough to get to shower without any young eyes watching you then enjoy it ladies because it truly is bliss
I bought it after I saw the commercial on TV. The idea is very novel, a body conditioner. It feels good right after the shower, but the effect is not as long lasting as regular body lotion. I would probably use it during the summer.
Love love love! I was pretty sceptical but this stuff actually works and leaves your skin lovely and soft for minimal effort. It saves so much time in the morning - especially as you don't have to wait for your moisturiser to dry. It smells great and leaves your skin soft and smooth.
Tips: Make sure you use your hands to apply this product so they're left lovely and soft too!
I read the instructions and done what they asked, however I was left with quite a greasy feeling afterwards and ending up having to go over it with a loofah and body wash to remove it, as for the whole no need to use moisturiser thing, my skin dried out within hours after using, where my normal garnier after shower moisturiser lasts all day. Won't bother buying again, and I liked the idea of this as a busy mum to 3 I look to save time everywhere!! Disappointed
