I received a sample of this from Nivea and to begin with I was very unsure. After using I did enjoy this product and it left my skin moisterised. Application was quick and simple. However I do think it leaves your skin as soft and moisturised as it would be if you took the time to use a normal body moisturiser. I don't think I would purchase this product with my own money due to the fact that is more of a luxury product and is not an essential product.

NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner For Very Dry Skin Review
NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner is a new and more convenient way to moisturise. Now you can quickly moisturise before you even get out of the shower.
Application is a breeze and works in four simple steps
1. WASH - Cleanse with shower gel as usual and rinse off
2. APPLY – Stepping back from the shower stream, apply a generous amount of NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion. You’ll be amazed how quickly it rubs in
3. RINSE – The caring formula will immediately be absorbed by your skin and then you can rinse off
4. READY– Dry off and you can get dressed immediately!

An in-shower moisturiser is a great idea - this is the first one I've heard of. It left my skin feeling nice, but isn't the best moisturiser around. And I feel like I should let myself airdry because I don't want to wipe all the product off? So I'm a bit mixed on this...
Tips: Instructions tell you to make sure you clean the product off the shower floor, definitely a good tip!
I love the idea of this product - I hate moisturizing after showering but could definitely stand to do it more regularly. I have the very dry skin version and find it works pretty well, but its definitely not as if I'd actually used a moisturizer. It is really quick to use and I still like it for when I wouldn't be moisturizing after showering anyway (which is most of the time, to be honest!). I do find you need to use quite a lot of product though, and unfortunately I really dislike the scent (quite a synthetic 'clean' kind of fragrance). For these reasons I prefer Lush's Ro Argan Body Conditioner, which is a pretty similar product - more expensive, but it goes further and smells amazing. I also think coconut oil alone does a similar job, just need to be careful as the shower gets slippery! Would love to try other scents of this if Nivea made them though.
I didn't really feel this product did much more than a bodywash would do in terms of conditioning the skin. It flared up my eczema, and actually was quite drying. Still needed to use a good moisturiser afterwards too. Standard fragrance, nothing special.
I received this in my gift pack (thanks BR!) I can't say that I noticed a lot of difference in my skin after using it. Maybe a bit softer, but maybe I didn't rub it in enough & wait a bit before washing off. I will try it again tho, & see what happens.
Tips: Make sure you wash your shower floor properly after use, a bit slippery.
Great idea and great product. For someone who is always in a rush and never finds the time to use a body lotion, I found it did the job.
Tips: Rinse your shower after use as it gets very slippery
I really wanted to love this product, as it is such a great idea! I never moisturise my legs or anything (apart from face) so I thought this would be awesome! Which is is, but there are a couple of problems. The bottle itself is huge which is great - lots of product! Really nice Nivea smell to it, and a lovely creamy consistency. I used about the size of an old 50c coin for my full leg. So I rubbed it all over my legs, made sure I rubbed it in well, then did the other. Waited for about a minute, then rinsed off the product from my leg.... but it didnt really rinse off. It was a really strange feeling, as I like to feel squeaky clean after a shower. To be honest I couldnt get it off my hands, it reminded me of having lard on my hands and it wasnt very pleasant. Anyway i rubbed by legs again and attemped to get as much off as possible. Got out the shower and my legs felt really lovely, but it was all over the shower floor which was really slippery. The softness of my skin lasted for about the same time as a normal moisturiser which is good. I just hate to think what its doing to my drain! Dont think I will purchase this again, might just get into the habit of moisturising!
When I tried this I found that it didn't absorb into my skin as well as I had hoped it would, it kind of just sat on the top of my skin. I didn't feel like it moisturized my skin as well as it claimed it would either. I found it to be quite average.
I liked this product is defintiely imporved the mositurisation levels however I do feel that it is just one too many shower products, after face wash, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, shaving, exfoliant etc. I just feel there is already too much going on in the shower to add another step is a bit too time consuming for me.
Tips: Is good in winter when legs tend to get dry and it is too cold in the morning to put moisturiser on your legs, or if you don't want to put moisturier on before you put your stockings on.
I was excited about trying this as I hate getting out of the warm shower and then getting cold while moisturising. The process was not what i expected (thought it would be like a moisturising body wash) but was simple enough. My skin felt soft and lightly moisturised afterwards, so would be a good option during winter, but i dont think it would offer enough moisturisation for summer
Tips: if you are too busy or dont like to moisturise after getting out of the shower, then this would be a good option to use.
