I thought this would be very different to how it actually was. Its just body wash with baby oil in it. Very bad for your skin and your pores and leaves you with that gross oily feeling. Wont be using anymore even though I paid $10 for the tub!

NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner For Very Dry Skin Review
NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner is a new and more convenient way to moisturise. Now you can quickly moisturise before you even get out of the shower.
Application is a breeze and works in four simple steps
1. WASH - Cleanse with shower gel as usual and rinse off
2. APPLY – Stepping back from the shower stream, apply a generous amount of NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion. You’ll be amazed how quickly it rubs in
3. RINSE – The caring formula will immediately be absorbed by your skin and then you can rinse off
4. READY– Dry off and you can get dressed immediately!

Tips: Rub it off your body with a towel afterwards
I purchased this product to use after shaving in the shower, and found this it was very hard to wash off and left a greasy residue on my skin. I wouldn't purchase this again, it just adds to my bulk of shower products and there's nothing wrong with a normal moisturiser. On the plus side, there is a lot of product in the bottle and it smells great.
I got given some of this. It did do what it said, easy to apply and absorbed quickly, eady to rinse after. But it really did work for me, my skin didn't feel any better/softer after. I even went as far to only doing one arm and you really couldn't tell which one I had done it on.
I was eager to try this product after seeing it on TV and being told how great it was by a friend. It was really quick and easy slather on, I did find I needed to use quite a bit to cover my body. I also found that trying to squeeze more from the bottle with greasy hands a bit on the tricky side - maybe a hanging squeeze bottle would be more user friendly. After getting out of shower my skin felt moisturized and dewy and had a lovely scent that's wasn't too overpowering. After using for a couple of days I'm not 100% sold on this product, my skin started to feel itchy the next morning after each use and the moisturizing affect seem to be short lived. I have since discontinued use with no further problems.
Tips: Make sure you give the bottom of the shower a good rinse down before getting out - leaves a greasy residue on floor and quite dangerous for the next shower user as my husband found out!
Not that great at moisturising (I use the one for dry skins), and oddly it feels like there is a film over my skin, despite there being no silicones. I'm really lazy with body moisturising, though, so at least this is something.
I really liked the idea behind this product, who wouldn't want to skip a step in their beauty routine? My skin does also tend to get quite dry so I gave it a go. Firstly it seemed like I had to use a lot of this product to get a decent coverage of my skin. Secondly, although it felt better than not moisturizing at all, my skin definitely didn't feel as moisturized as if I had used a normal moisturizer. Since trying this I've tried the Lush body butters that you can use in the shower, I found them to be much more moisturizing and they have fewer chemicals in them too so I would definitely choose them over the Nivea product anytime. Plus the Nivea product has a smell I don't really like.
I purchased this product last week in the hope it would do what it said it would and moisturize your skin as I dont generally have time to do that after my shower, I found it was slippery and slimy, I needed to use alot more of the product than I probably would if my skin was dry and once you have dried yourself I could barely notice any difference. Overall yes it did moisturize my skin slightly but I will not be re purchasing !
I purchased thinking yay, this will save time in my ever expanding mourning routine! unfortunately it was not the case. I find first of all the product quite difficult to get out of the bottle as the bottle is made of a hard thick plastic, with wet shower hands it was near on impossible.. I found it to have the typical Nivea smell and even a sunblock smell to it, which unfortunately isn't nice. the product itself is nice, thick and creamy which I enjoy and seemed to absorb into my skin well. I do find that it is moisturising so sometimes I get away with skipping moisturising afterwards (which is the point of this) I personally still prefer most days to moisturiser with another product once out of the shower as I feel the in shower body skin is just not enough.
I would not purchase this one again. but maybe another brand one as I like the idea of giving my skin a full moisturising experience :)
I thought that with my dry skin this could be brilliant. Yes it does leave my skin soft and smooth after the shower but I find that I could still benefit from applying moisturiser as well as this after my shower. I think this is probably brilliant for people who have normal skin and not very dry like mine. I do like the fact it has a subtle scent and does leave my skin smooth just not as hydrated as I would like. I also find that it does tend to make a mess in the shower leaving a slippery film behind, so it pays to rinse down the shower after using to avoid this.
Well I was a little sceptical about this skin conditioner as I generally have dry skin so I thought it would be a real challenge on me so on a day off work I gave it a go I was surprised how quickly it seemed to soak in and I felt really moisturised as soon as I got out of the shower, about 2 hours later I felt quite itchy around my stomach and arms and on investigation my skin was as dry as, so then I was off to put my trusted moisturiser on! I might give it another go but it doesn't really save any time if you still have to moisturise again later on.
