NIVEA In Shower Body Skin Conditioner For Very Dry Skin Review

This felt very strange to use the first time but love the smell of the Shea butter. And saves time by moisturising before you get out of the shower. The large container is value for money and with the upside down container you get instant product at your fingertips every time right down to the last drop. Lovely texture creamy and light.

If you were one of the lucky ones to get the first Beauty Review Beauty Box, then you probably already know ALL about this product. But if you didn't, let me convince you to try this beauty gem out!

Now, I'm not one that rushes to buy the "latest" product, I usually let everyone else do that, listen & read some reviews and decided from there if I should buy it or not. But after getting this in the Beauty Box I was, let's say... "intrigued". I hadn't heard of a BodySkin Conditioner for in the Shower, let alone one you wash off so I tried it the first night!

It was strange to put this on at first while being in a nice warm shower, the lotion was cold and felt like I was putting moisturiser on, while wet. Strange at first I must admit, but I slowly kept adding it into my routine. Rinsing it off always left my skin really silky, after getting out and continuing with my day/night I felt my skin was only getting smoother & smoother. It was actually working?!

For someone like me, who isn't the biggest fan of Skin Lotions/Body Butter/Moisturiser because it leaves my skin all itchy and sticky, this was a life saver. I now spend a few more minutes in the shower to get perfectly moisturised skin.

Great concept - treat your skin like you do your hair, with a shampoo and conditioner. I am guilty of skipping the body moisturiser step of my skin care routine and then suffering the scaly consequences. I was very pleased to find this in my Beauty Box.

The packaging is well thought out, a nice big squeezy bottle with the opening on the bottom, so no faffing about trying to get the product to dispense from a slippery bottle with wet hands. Once dispensed the product itself is creamy and spreads easily. The fragrance is pleasant - light and doesn't linger. I consider this a plus as I prefer body products that don't fight with my perfume! Once rinsed off, a layer of moisture is left behind that doesn't feel sticky or greasy. I was a bit concerned that the shower walls and floor would be a greasy death-trap for the next user or a nightmare to clean, but so far that has not been an issue. Also was worried that my towels might suffer from greasy build-up but that hasn't eventuated either.

I think the condition of my skin has improved overall, whether due to the formula or the fact that I remember to use it all the time I can't tell you! My only real gripe is that the product is mostly petroleum based. I wonder if anyone else would take this concept and produce a yummy plant-based alternative? Are you listening Eco-Store?

I was keen to try this as I very rarely moisturise (I don't find my skin gets overly dry) - this seemed like a fantastic idea, a way for me to increase my moisturising without the hassle of waiting for it to dry on my skin outside of the shower.

Great value for money, a huge bottle for the price. Its creamy and spreads over skin easily, with a pleasant aroma. I found that my skin did feel a little softer after using, but that didn't last for too long. It was great to be able to feel so soft but also dry stepping out of the shower.

I don't think I would be buying this again, purely because the results were not significant enough for me. Also as someone whose skin reacts to the strangest of things I did find myself feeling quite itchy after the first couple of applications, unsure if it was due to this product, but does leave me dubious to continue using it.

Im so glad I have purchased this product. I have really dry skin and this is a great product for me especially if your in a rush & dont have the time to put body lotion on.

Has a great smell not over powering and really easy to apply all over the body. Leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky. I would definitely repurchased this product.

This product is a must, especially if you're short on time, and short on time to slather yourself in moisturiser after a shower.

The smell is great, the texture is smooth and silky, and thats exactly how it leaves your skin feeling. I would highly recommend this product, perfect for skin thats been dried out in the sun, wind or swimming. Teenage girls love it especially - seems like its time to buy some more!

I had seen this at the supermarket a few times and was super happy to be able to try it after receiving it in my BR beauty box.

The packaging is a blue tube. Great that it has the opening at the bottom so that you can make sure to get all of the product out. It has quite a small opening which is great so you can't push out too much at a time.

Now I have a bit of a confession to make. I don't like showers. Each night when I hop into the shower I just want to get the job done and get out as fast as possible. So to add an extra step of skin conditioner while in the shower is just not something I really want to do. I don't actually use lotion on my body very much at all as I don't find my skin gets dry very often. So for me I just don't have an everyday use for a product like this.

In saying that I don't like to have long showers once a week I have a longer shower or bath to use a hair mask, face mask and generally just pamper. That is when I have tried using this. It really does make your skin feel very moisturised and smooth which is great. Something I hate with moisturising products is when they make you feel greasy, this product doesn't do that at all! That is a massive plus for me.

So personally I don't think I will repurchase as I don't have a use for it. However for my dry skin friends this will something I would recommend wholeheartedly.

started using the Nivea in shower moisturiser during the winter months trying to do something to my extremely dru psoriasis prone skin. Great smell and luxurious cream esasily went on in the shower with not hassle. Coulple of bottles later (seeing the first had no impact) I gave up. price was not o bad for a moisturizer and the asynof applying was really great Unfortunatelly had no impact on my skin and im still stuggling along.

I got this baby in my December Beauty Box and I will forever thank you for introducing me to it BR!! I usually wash as normal with body wash and then moisturize after the shower and always found that getting dressed was not a task for the faint of heart! It always took longer than it should and I would end up fighting to get my pants on because of the moisturizer that hadn't absorbed in to my skin enough.

First of all the bottle is HUGE!!!! The value for money is untolds of good! I mean $8 for 400ml and it lasts for a couple of months even using it everyday. I got the dry skin range because I have very dry sensitive skin and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised at how good it made my skin feel even after the first use.

The process couldn't be easier. Rub on to skin after washing then rinse off! It's the easiest instructions you could imagine and it does so much good for my skin for something so simple.

I love that it is made to sit upside down so I don't have to shake the bottle to get the product out which makes it easy for me! The texture is so luxurious and creamy on my skin it's like I am rubbing silk on myself. The only complaint I have is I have never liked the smell of any Nivea products and this one is included but the results outweigh the smell.

My skin regime is now complete :D
