This isn't 'pure and natural' it contains parfum. Why is there any need to put fragrance in this product? I found it quite heavy for a day cream, even though I have normal to combination skin, and it bothers me that there's no SPF. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Tips: I used it on my chest area and my hands, and it was nice and nourishing, but for an AM face cream? Not so much.
I was terribly disappointed by this product, and every time I used it, my skin broke out into red spots, not pimples but red spots. I thought that being Nivea it would be better than this and being Pure and Natural great for my skin. I have never had a reaction like this with any product before or since
Tips: Don't use it if your skin is sensitive
I picked this up to try Niveas' Pure and Natural range, and I'm really disappointed.
It comes in glass packaging, with a twist lid, so you have to use your fingers to scoop out the product which is not hygienic for you or the product sitting there.
It smells quite 'fake natural' which is disappointing which may be why is was reacting to my skin, the fake fragrances that were added.
The actual cream is a smooth and creamy, which rubs in really easily into the skin, I found after it was rubbed in my skin got very red and stingy, which was extremely uncomfortable, after that instance I did a patch test under my ear and on my wrist and it didnt react the same so I gave it another try and got the same result on my face.
For the price, I could buy proper natural face cream made in NZ for the same price, so I will not repurchase this.
I don't know what it is with Nivea moisturizers but they just do not click with my skin. I tried this thinking it would work for me with mire natural ingredients but sadly no. Left my skin slightly greasy. Also made me feel like my foundation was going to slip off my face.
For years I have wanted natural skincare to work for me but my skin seems to be addicted to petrochemical, paraben laden products such as my beloved nivea creme, ponds and olay lotions. Until now I have never found anything that worked without causing me reactions until discovering this line. No this line is not completely natural, nor is it fragrance free (it is actually rather strongly perfumed for something of the 'natural' variety) however it is free of the major players in most supermarket lines Mineral oil/petroleum, parabens and dyes. This is a very affordable cream, it has the texture of my beloved olay beauty fluid yet slightly thicker, it sinks in nicely, leaves no greasy film. Lovely recyclable glass jar and the packaging of this line is lovely - only downfall is I am breaking out really badly from this cream there's something in it that my skin isn't tolerating so it's back to the search for another less chemical moisturiser for me!
Kind of on the fence when it comes to the Nivea range. Their either useless or average. This product is a good daily moisturiser i think it is quite average, for the same price you can get a good quality brand maybe for less ML though. okay product overall but can get alot better
I have been on the hunt for a natural moisturiser for some time now. I bought the Nivea Pure & Natural to try after reading about it in a magazine.
I am a bit dubious about the natural claims when there is a whole 5% that doesn't fit that criteria, but gave it a try anyway.
It does the job in terms of moisturising, its not too heavy and absorbs well into the skin. It doesn't give me redness or irritation which is good. However the smell and the cooling effect when it goes on makes it feel like there is some kind of alcohol in the product.
It is mainly for that reason that I would not recommend it or buy it again.
This product smells divine and glides on the skin very easily. I personally found it a bit greasy and it wasn't absorbed into the skin easily. Putting foundation over it proved difficult as the day cream made the foundation slide over the skin and my face was left looking a bit shiny. If you have dry skin this product may work more effectively.
Tips: I think this day cream would be more effective on dry skin as it is super moisturizing and isn't easily absorbed into normal/oily skin.
I used a Nivea priming moistueriser from the UK, and I loved it, unfortunately it isn't available in NZ so I decided to try another Nivea product. This one seemed to promise everything that the last one did. On the first go I found it to be too thick for it to be a light moistiser. I found it to be rather gloopy and thick. It felt like I had a layer left over. Needless to say I won't be using it in a hurry.
First off, I found it odd that a 'natural' product had such a strong fragrance, I prefer parfum free products, especially when they're advertising it in such a way. I didn't particularly like the feel of the product on my skin, as I prefer to use a lighter day product, as this one left me a little greasier than normal, and took a long time to absorb- it also says it is for normal to combination skin, so the oilyness surprised me. The consistency, for me, is better suited to a night time product. I generally use a day moisturiser with an spf. I found it odd that they're calling it a day cream but with no sun protection.
Tips: Not for a combination skin! Too heavy for a day cream, and not nourishing enough for a night cream. Too much fragrance.
