Replenishing Pearls by Nivea

I find that I get good results when I smother my face in this then add a moisturizer once it has absorbed. It has a scrambled egg texture as the pearls are squished into the serum. It does help hydrate your skin but as far as claiming to reduce wrinkles the jury is out on this one. I have yet to see any change.

Tips: Put plenty on then moisturize for extra hydration.

Shrugs shoulders

Nivea's Q10 Replenishing Pearls is a freaky looking little product which transforms from pearls to a silky serum when dispersed through the pump. Technically I don't have any issues with this product, and I was really only looking for something new to try out that might have some form of impact on my fine lines. It smells great and feels lovely - I do find it a little sticky initially, but once it's soaked in my skin feels like I've given it a healthy dose of moisture with no residue which is a bonus for me. My skin is a weird combination of super oily yet sensitive, so finding a good product can be tricky, and I usually lean toward the whole "less is more" approach. At the same time though, I absolutely adore the process of doing things that make me feel good, so I also like to branch out and try new products on a fairly regular basis (its a healthy addicition, I swear!). One thing I can say I have noticed is that my pimple scars have faded alot quicker than what they generally would - new ones that is, older scars are yet to see any improvement.

Overall I don't really find anything particularly mind-blowing about this skin treatment, but in saying that I'm not upset with having spent money on it.

Tips: Massage into cleansed skin and allow at least 5minutes for it to soak in before using any other form of moisturiser. If you have sensitive skin like me and find that trying new products can be scary (and stinging), I would recommend doing a patch test

I love how the product comes out of the packaging! It is nice and smooth with a minimum amount required. It overall left my skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished. I felt as if the skin around the wrinkles was slightly plumped after continuous use.

Feels like it's making a difference

I have been using this product daily for over a week now. Initially the smell was quite "medicinal" to me but it has grown on me and now is a "fresh" part of my day. I love that it is a pump (none of that thumping the bottom of the bottle or digging around in the pot). I found the texture of the pearls great as they disintegrate and are silky smooth but the surprise was the bright yellowness! I found the texture and absorption great and it goes on quickly and the results are starting to show already and doesn't feel heavy or fake and "layered" on. I don't feel I want to use too much more of this type of product as they usually seem expensive and a bit excessive but this one is a lovely addition and is making a difference to me. I would totally recommend this and I am seeing the difference daily.

Tips: stick with it for a few days. The bright yellow balls that disintegrate need a bit more rubbing and the smell grows on you.

Nivea Q10 Replenishing Pearls

Alrighty! Well I was super excited to try this product! I don't really have major wrinkles but I do have a few fine lines and things so I was excited to start using something that may help get rid of them! I quite like this product, it smells yum and is easy to use. The packaging is pretty cool, you can see the "replenishing pearls" in the bottle. There is a pump that you just push down and the product comes out. On the packaging it does state that you can use as a base for make up which actually worked really well for me as it provided a smooth, matte surface :). One negative however would be that the actual product looked a bit like yellow, chunky vomit which was pretty off putting but it smelt nice so it was ok haha! I was expecting the pearls to smush down a bit more to actually be like a serum which is what the packaging states it is but hey, the smell saves it!! Overall I did notice a subtle difference to my fine lines around my eyes but nothing hugely noticeable, but I will continue using it and see what happens!! = watch this space :D

Tips: Don't get put off by the consistency, it's totally ok! :)

I'm keen to give this a try...I'm not even put off by the "yellow, chunky vomit" texture! Hehe Would you recommend it for dry skin types?

Nivea Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Serum Pearls

There's hope! This serum promised to reveal a refined and younger looking complexion. After using it twice-daily for eight days, I don't know that I'm looking younger than my 50 years, but my skin is certainly feeling well-hydrated and firmer to the touch. The serum is attractively packaged - a compact, easy-to-hold pump bottle with an unfussy design. Great travel size or for throwing in your purse! The yellow serum 'pearls' appeared to be quite thick but smoothed beautifully onto my skin, were absorbed quickly and did not leave my skin feeling at all greasy. I have an oily T-zone but my skin tends to be rather dry around the cheek and neck areas. Two pumps of serum were needed to cover my face and neck and I let it dry for about a minute before applying my normal moisturiser and foundation. A nice bonus was that the serum had a matte effect so I didn't need to use a primer underneath my foundation. I'll definitely keep using the serum and hope the firming effect on my skin continues. Don't think there's much chance of my forehead frown lines disappearing but the skin around my eyes is certainly feeling less crepey.

Thank you for the chance to trial this product!

NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls

I do love how the pearls come out of the nozzle all mushed up, more creamy than other serums that seem oily. I especially like that it's not oily. The product does absorb into my skin quite quickly and it does leave my face feeling soft and smooth. I have noticed that my face is generally softer looking and that does make it look younger as well.

Tips: Give it a try!

Forget diamonds...

Looks like pearls are a girl's best friend!

I'm always a bit suspicious about 'revolutionary' products, I mean, hasn't it all been done before? Well...no, it turns out.

This is a weird product. Like, there's actually little 'pearls' in the formula. When I read about it, I kind of thought the pearls would burst or something before it was dispensed, but nope, they get mixed in. You can actually feel them as you apply the product.

1 small pump does your whole face (and I have a moon face!). You do need to pay attention to rubbing it in, it took me a few days to get used to the initial texture on my skin and the amount I needed.

After the first few uses my skin felt hydrated and soft - like baby smooth. After regular use over the last few weeks, I've noticed my fine lines have reduced - a lot.

So being a serum, I was still using my regular moisturiser after, but after a week I tried it on it's own and my skin still felt soft and moisturised.

It's a brilliant price, and you can see how much product you have left which I like.

So...negatives. The fragrance. It's weird. But it doesn't last more than a few minutes and therefore will not affect my rating of this fab supermarket find!

Tips: It's on special now at the big red shed - pick it up!

Better than the spensy brands!

I am so, so, so in love with this serum! When it arrived in the top rated BBBE I was a wee bit intrigued thinking how does this work? I could see these wee yellow balls inside the tube, first thought was ahh they're just decoration and the clear looking serum comes out. Haha no, that's not what happens!

The clear tube has a pump top lid I pump out two pumps and watch to see what happens ah ha it crushes the small pearl balls as it comes out! How cool is that I thought, I'm pretty sure I have never used a product like that before. I start massaging it into my face and watch as the rest of the crushed pearls sink into my skin and leave no trace of what they once were. It has a slight floral musk scent I must admit I'm not overly fussed it does smell kind of umm nana-ish.

I first used this at night time mainly because of the curiosity. As soon as I had massaged it into my face my skin looked almost brighter, but I wasn't going to get over excited too quickly as too many times I use something then gradually it loses its magic.

I had been using a very expensive *cough cough* several hundred dollars serum and to be honest it wasn't doing much, I didn't think a cheaper supermarket serum would do a lot but holy moly I'm wrong, so very very wrong! I've been using this for several weeks now and every time I put it on at night my skin looks fresh and even in the morning it still looks fresh. It doesn't leave any oily or sticky residue which is another reason I love this. It leaves my skin ready for moisturiser, and makes my moisturiser absorb that wee bit quicker.

I love this serum and it is easily better than the several hundred dollar serum and I will repurchase.
