Well isn't this just a diamond in the rough!

As a user of high end skincare (and we're talking an anti ageing moisturiser that costs over $150 per pop) I was somewhat sceptical about the claims for this. Could it live up to it's higher priced counterpart? I was eager to find out!

This product comes in a pump bottle which I like as you're not sticking your fingers in the jar. What initially looks like a label with graphics of wee yellow pearls, actually turns out to be the product itself. You pump out your product and you can actually squish the little balls in your hand. I've been using this product for 2 weeks now and I can honestly say that it gives my higher end product a run for it's money (and more). It absorbs quickly and I can definitely see a noticeable decrease in the wrinkles around my eyes and I can honestly say...my skin has never looked better!

The only downside for me is the fragrance, i'm not sure what it smells of but it's not my cup of tea at all. Nivea has such an iconic fragrance associated with it's original cream and its body lotions that i'm intrigued as to why they feel they need to move away from this into something else in the face care products..but hey..I can live with it for the results it delivers.

So the answer to the question of will I be trading in my $150 moisturiser for this? Hell yes!

Tips: If you're on the wrong side of 35 toss out whatever moisturiser your'e currently using and grab a box of Q10 Pearls..like NOW! You won't regret it.

Great review :) I might have to give this a go when I run out of my current moisturiser.

Quite Amazing

There was no way I wasn't going to try this product, it sounded amazing - and the price was around half that of other serums I've tried, so I was interested to see if it could live up to more expensive brands.

First of all the packaging is cute and functional. A solid plastic tube with pump that pushes product upwards as time goes on, so no waste and the ingredients are kept fresh. I really like that you can see the pearls encased in the gel and that you can see how much you've got left so you know when to buy some more. (And I will be buying some more.)

The product pumps out and the pearls kind of break, I then rub them together and apply all over my face (I use a whole pump for just my face.) The smell initially wasn't my favourite, but I've grown used to it and it doesn't bother me now, it also fades quickly once on the skin.

What amazed me initially about this was that my skin actually felt softer after using it. Usually I'll wake up after applying serum at night, have a shower and it feels like the benefits are washed away - in this case the smoothness remained and does so throughout the day after reapplying (I use it day and night). Not only is my skin feeling better it appears to have evened out a lot and looks fresher.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this, I had high hopes but having not used Nivea in the past I was a little nervous, turns out I had nothing to worry about. This serum is comparable with more expensive serums I've used and it's half the price. What's not to love?
