NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

So I was initially a little sceptical trying this product (and YAY for getting to try a product!!) because I've actually never tried a spray deodorant, only roll on. I went for a run and there was no stickiness or irritation which I find to be an issue with some brands, it didn't mark my clothing (I wore navy to work), and it smells really nice. Sitting in bed over 12 hours since spraying it on - I smell great and I'm dry!

Nivea Stress Protect was really good. I normally need quite a heavy duty deodorant and prefer anti perspirants as I sweat a lot, particularly when running. This was great for every day use, and smelt amazing. White marks were a small issue though, I think I prefer roll on in this case.

The deodorant worked really well for me I'm a busy first time mum who needs something quick and easy to apply that protects me against odour. The Nivea spray was easy to apply and didi protect me from odour for the 48 hours like it states it will ddoe,

I received my deodorant and have been using it every day. The first thing I noticed was the fragrance. It's very nice - floral in its scent so not really for men I wouldn't think. The only drawback I found was that as it was quite a strong scent it tended to overpower my perfume. I am on medication that has a side effect of random bouts of perspiration which can be quite distressing but this product managed to keep everything smelling nice which I haven't found in any other product. I also have sensitive skin and have to be very careful about what I put on my skin so I was really pleased to find that this didn't effect my skin at all. I'm in two minds about this product because on one hand it does everything it claims, is a reasonable price for the size of the can and is good for sensitive skin I think the fragrance is too strong and also I find with aerosols they tend to waste a lot of product spraying outside the area no matter how hard you try to keep the aim right which is why I normally use roll-on. I would think it's worth a try especially if you are prone to bouts of perspiration but be aware that the fragrance is strong. So yes, I would recommend it to my friends (especially those of a certain age) but I personally will stick to aerosols. If Nivea put this formula into a roll-on and tone down the fragrance I'd be in like Flynn because it had a lot of good points.

I have been using Dove roll on most of my adult life - and every time I've tried to stray, I've been disappointed.

This time was different!

I had an incredibly stressful day yesterday, working 730am-9pm with very little break and people coming at me from all sides wanting something done urgently. I hadn't really been paying attention to whether I was sweating, but I do know that when I get stressed I do sweat profusely. I noticed when I left the office at 5pm that I was dry as a bone - which was fantastic! I am wearing the product again today and am sure I will have just as much success.

The only downside is it doesn't "feel" like I'm getting moisturised the way a roll on Dove product feels - but perhaps I am, I'm not sure. The bonus is that it smells great too! Will definitely be buying a full sized bottle!

WOW! when they call it stress protect i though i would put this to its absolute limit in the weekend. I survived and as dry as a kitten through a job interveiw, moving house, watching a super close breakers game and unpacking all in one weekend.

Stress Protect smells yummy, doesnt leave white marks on black clothing and does exactly what it says it does, i also have super sensitive skin so waiting for the sting or even slight irritation which i get with certain Deos.... very very impressed. Infact ill be buying this as my usual in my next shop :)

The Nivea Stress Protect Deodorant aerosol really does what it promises. It sprays on dry, which I found great, as it leaves not marks on clothing. Nice fragrance without being over powering. I am super sensitive to most aerosol sprays, so was a little hesitant with the first spray. There is quite a wide spray area, so quite a lot is wasted. I was pleasantly surprised, that although the fragrance was quite concentrated on first spraying, it settled to a nice soft scent. It also did not give me a headache, which happens with almost all spray deodorants. It really got put to the test here as we had a couple of days when we had quite high temps....still dry & smelling like a flower. Overall I am pleasantly surprised, that I was able to use this with no headaches, rashes or other reactions to chemicals, which I would normally get.

I don't usually use Aerosols because they tend to have a horrible smell, but this one really isn't as bad as all the others, my boyfriend even walked up and said " ohh that smells nice!". although it can be quite strong at first it settles after about 30 seconds. It sprays on nice and dry just like it says it does and leaves no white marks like roll on's do when you put your clothes on after applying. As for the protection factor, it blows all of the Nivea roll on's out of the water! there is no comparison, I am definitely a stress sweater so this really works for me, although I have only been using it for a week and haven't had any particularly stressful situations. I have tried it at the gym how ever and that is usually a really good test, obviously I still sweated (i work hard!) the odour was not as strong. All in all a great deodorant and I would buy again.
