NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

When I found out I got selected for this I was pretty excited, being that it was a stress protect product. My job is right up there on the stress scale AND it's really hot and sticky where I live and work so I thought, YES!

I've got to say I'm completely not impressed with this product, my Avon naturals roll on does a far superior job.

I really like the smell of the product and the packaging.

I don't really feel that it protects you against sweat and body odour anywhere near what it claims. I wouldn't trust it for 48 hours (cos gross, who doesn't shower in 48 hours) as I can't really trust it for 9 hours. When I get home from work I feel slightly damp under the armpits and can smell a bit of a sweaty smell.

I might try this product in the roll on seeing as we got a coupon with it as well but definitely would never get the spray on one again.

Pretty disappointing as I'm not even a heavy sweater!

This product is great in that it does what it says; anti-perspirant for stress protect. It lasts for a long time and feels fresh, I've been very stressed at work and found it great. I like to use deoderant though that doesn't have a distinct smell so it doesn't interfere with my perfume. This product has a strong smell, though nice, and so isn't something I would want to use everyday, though I would definitely use it again.

I think this deodorant will be replacing my other one very soon. Firstly I like the spray nozzle, as it evenly disperses the product , not leaving it in clumps. The scent is nice and fresh but not overpowering. I went for a 40 minute walk and it held up well. There were also no white marks on my shirt from it which is always a plus.

Easy to use, nice smell. Seemed to provide good protection .... Would not feel comfortable seeing if it would give 48 hours protection .

Well I have to say I’m rather converted now and will be changing my purchase of roll on. I have always been weary of using anything other than roll on as felt I wasn’t getting enough protection from sweating but after using this product I will definitely not buy anything else. I work in an office and there is always a fight over the heat pump/air conditioner….I'm sure this happens in most offices. One minute your hot the next you’re shaking like it’s the middle of winter. (Why can’t heat/aircon’s have a body temperature sensor to asses who needs air con and who doesn’t lol) anyway between the fight on the right temperature and pressures from non-miss-able targets I am probably a prime candidate for struggling with sweating. I found the product not only protect me all day left no marks on my uniform after applying and felt fresh straight away. The last few days of using it I have come home feeling fresher then I do when using roll on. I would recommend this to anyone else who has issues with sweating as it will work every time.

I'm very picky with deodorant as I sweat a lot, especially when I'm stressed! I found the spray form of deodorant convenient as it dries super fast and can be easily reapplied during the day. I also enjoyed the light scent it has, it's fresh but not overpowering.

On my first use I held it too close when I sprayed - this might have something to do with why I had slightly irritated skin after my first use. There is a reason it gives instructions of holding it 15cm away when you spray. I gave it another shot because I wanted to give it a proper chance for this review and it did have excellent odour control - such a plus! The next time I used it after washing, I held it approx 15cm away and sprayed. I didn't get any irritation this time. Notes: It works for odour control for at least 24 hours, regardless of whether you sweat or not. It does have some impact on sweating but I wouldn't rely on it for something like an interview. I did sweat when I was nervous. Maybe it helped but I can't be sure. After about a day and a 1/2 my underarms started to feel a bit gross and sticky. If you aren't active or all that stressed, it works well for about a day and a half. It has a nice, fresh smell. The odour protection lasts as long as this fresh scent does. It doesn't last 48 hours (on me anyway). If you need a complete anti-perspirant, I wouldn't recommend this. If all you want is reliable odour control, I would definitely recommend this to you.

I quite like this deodorant as I find the scent to be refreshing and unique. I don't think it would provide enough protection though for 48 hours as the product started to wear off after 15 hours. I does work well against stress as work is a bit stressful these days and it did a better job than my rexona ones. I might try the roll on ones next!! :)

This seems to have the powder smell that a lot of the sprays that I seem to pick up have, I don't like it at all but as it is a trial I decided to stick with the product. It went on easy and dried quickly, even I couldn't stuff that up. For the amount of stress I had everyday - non stop calls and buses running on no man's timetable - it worked better than I thought it would. Not because of the brand, some of their other products are fabulous but because it is an aerosol. I stayed dry all day with this. And the powder smell seems to have stay power on me. Will I try this again? It did the job for my situations but I don't like aerosols so will use the roll on option in the future.
