NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

A decent antiperspirant. Gentle on your skin, dries quickly and smells nice and fresh.

Probably wouldn't purchase it myself, as I don't really sweat much.

I am surprised with this product, it smells quite good. It's light and soft smelling and quite refreshing when you spray it on as well, which is great. It's been rather hot lately and it has done it's job thorougly even while I'm out working, and it also lasts as long it says! Wow! I am a little concerned about exact how good for you something is that prevents you from sweating (as in what it does to your pores and the negative effects) so I wouldn't use it every day but it's great for days that are really important. But apart from that, terrific product and it really does work well!

I take this whole 'anti-perspirant' game pretty seriously. My standard routine involves a clinical protection roll-on followed by a reasonably heavy-duty anti-perspirant aerosol, before I even get to the perfume. I'm always keen to try a new product, so I was pleased to give this a go.

It's good. The scent is very mild and inoffensive, and it feels quite 'gentle' on the skin - if that makes sense (similar to the Dove anti-perspirant spray, for those who have tried it).

However, as the day wore on, I didn't feel like it was giving me quite the same level of long-term protection as the anti-perspirant I currently use (Rexona Sport). I've since returned to using that and can confidently say that the performance of the Nivea spray was not enough to get me to switch brands.

That being said, I think I am a bit of a special case. So, bearing that in mind, and the fact that we're in the middle of a fairly warm summer, I would suggest at least giving it a go - especially if you haven't found an anti-perspirant that you're really happy with yet. I'm sure it will be ideal for some people - just not for me!

Unfortunately, this product did not live up to the hype of its advertising. While it has a lovely smell to start with, its protection against sweating is limited. It did not work as well as my usual deodorant during physical activity - running and gym work outs, and also did not seem to work very well against getting hot (when sitting in the sun for an extended period of time). I found that I needed to reapply the product more often than my usual product.

It was a pretty good product over all. I didn't feel any sweat from my body the entire day. Rather than being 48 hour protect, it is more of a one day protection thing. The spray fragrance is light and not cloying however, the aerosol spray comes in concentrated bursts rather an a gentler spray.

I am one of those people who always gets sweat patches (even in non-stressful situations). This deodorant is ok, better than normal ones but not as good as the Rexona Clinical Protection. I liked that this deodorant gave no white marks on the clothes, but I still felt sticky after a stressful day at work. Not sweat patches but sticky. I also didn't like the smell of it, too strong. It wasn't all that effective at the music festival I went to in the weekend either (but really what deodorant is!?).

I am fairly loyal to my current brand of deodorant, so was keen to try this new Nivea product. I used it on an average day, while out running and at an awards ceremony where we were nervously awaiting news of whether we were successful or not (quite stressful). In all situations the deodorant performed well, with no noticeable underarm perspiration or odour. White marks were not a problem and the fragrance was not too overpowering, so it didn't interact with my perfume - yay! The only downside is that when spraying it is quite strong and I made the mistake of applying it in a small hotel bathroom with the door closed, needless to say a fit of coughing ensued!! Regardless though, I have purchased the full size version and also the mens' version for my partner too :)

This deodorant didn't live up to the marketing. While it wasn't bad, it just wasn't all it was made out to be, wouldn't have lasted the stated 48hours, I put it to the toughest test (a stinking hot concert). The smell was ok, maybe a little overpowering or too floral. Was gentle on skin however.

I quite liked this product it smells nice and is refreshing,I don't normally sweat much anyway but this seemed to last me for the day but i wouldn't say it would last 48hours like it says.i sometimes found it didn't want to spray properly but that could just be my can,I would purchase this myself to keep in my handbag but I usually prefer a roll on

I didn't feel like I needed to reapply deodorant during the day - which I usually do. In times when I usually sweat more (walking to work etc) I could feel I was sweating but the time I got to work I didn't have any sweat marks or b.o. I personally wouldn't switch to this product as I prefer to use a non - aluminium deo. If you a are sweaty person then I believe product would work well for you.
