NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

I have to admit I started this trial thinking this product was going to fail. I have tried anti stress deodorants before and they let me down every time. I was so surprised on the first day of my trial there was no sign of sweat. Ok I thought to myself it was a quiet day but tomorrow is Monday and I have the big bosses over surely I will prove that is product is all talk I even wore my top that I sweat in every time I wear it but once again no sweat. It's day number 5 and there is still no sign of sweat. We'll done Nivea. I love this deodorant!

I trialled the stress protect aerosol for 5 days. In that time I had netball trials, 3 sessions of bikram yoga and a meeting with my chief supervisor for my PhD - all situations I find to be pretty stressful in a variety of ways and seemed perfect for trialling a product that claimed to 'provide protection against sweat and odor' during physical activity and stress. I applied the stress protect each morning after my shower and went about my day. I found the deodorant did protect me from everyday sweat and body odor, however, I didn't find that it gave any more of less protection than my regular deodorant during stressful situations. In other words, I was no more or less sweaty in the variety of stressful situations I put my body in this week. Due to this, I really didn't feel that it provided 48 hours worth of protection - by not preventing sweat I didn't feel confident that I needn't reapply the deodorant the next morning. 24 hours protection seems a little more fitting. I had previously tried the stress protect roll-on and had expressed a dislike for the smell - the aerosol was the same. I found it had a strong, almost sweet smell that was extremely overpowering and quite pungent. I personally like a deodorant with a subtle perfume so this wasn't for me. I didn't find the product horrible - but it definitely wasn't revolutionary.

It actually does what it says, cool when you put it on. I actually quite like it but there is one con to it that i didn't really like. If if gets in contact with black clothes it does turn that area white which is something that i don't like. But i would purchase it.

I work in Early Childhood and it can be quite stressful talking to parents, especially new ones that are wanting to know every detail of the care you provide (as they should!). I currently use Rexona All Blacks (because I don't think be limited to just guys...) and I'm very happy with it, so I was abit dubious about trying a new deodorant. First up it smells really good! I found that after sweating I still smelt ok, which is my main worry. So overall happy with this product, and I would use it again. :)

I loved this product! I usually sweat on hot days and have to apply more deoderant during the day but with using this I didn't, it was great

I trialled this deodorant for 5 days. Whilst I did reapply after 24hours I found it remained very effective for that period of time under a variety of situations I was faced with during the trial period. I did not notice any odour and felt fresh at the end of each of the days despite only applying it once early in the morning. I liked the mild scent as I like to wear perfume and don't like deodorants that have a powerful smell. It went on fairly dry I thought and didn't leave any white residue on my clothing. As an additional bonus it is a really good price so I am definitely sold - this will now be my fav deodorant of choice- well done Nivea

I didn't really know what to expect with this. I figured it would just be another standard deodorant. First impression when I used it was that I loved the pressure of the spray. It felt like I was actually giving good coverage unlike some brands. It was slightly perfumed, which did not altogether bother me, but I would have preferred it with no scent. Did it work....... Sort of. I am not completely convinced. After a couple of days of running around meeting new clients, and having a performance review at work, I felt it did lessen my nervous sweating quite a bit, did not completely prevent it like I thought it would. Overall, it was ok but I am not completely convinced it is the best deodorant out there, but it is better than some I have tried!

A good deodorant that does what it says it does as far I can tell. To be honest I didn't have a very stressful week but it kept me dry and fresh. Only thing I didn't really like the smell of it, But that's what perfume is for!
