NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

This was such a great product to trial, especially seeing as I cant use most deoderants because my skin is to sensitive. This one I can! And it doesnt irritate my skin one bit! Not even just after shaving. I love the way that when you apply this it doesnt just crumble off your armits and get all over your favorite top. Like most do. It aplies evenly and nicely :)

It was okay, did it's job and everything. Except it had a really strange chemical smell to it, which wasn't exactly nice.

The Nivea Stress Protect anti-perspirant saved me from many sweaty armpits while working as a waitress in a small, humid restaurant that has no air conditioning. I'd spray it on and not have to worry about sweating, leaving me with a stress free night. It has a typical deodorant smell that I can find a bit overpowering when sprayed because I'm sensitive to smells, but once it's on, it fades to a subtle pleasant smell that's much more bearable. I did find that they spray did wear off by the evening if I sprayed in the morning, and so it didn't quite last 24 hours, let alone 48 hours as it claimed. However, the small sample sized bottle will last a long time, and is very easy to carry around, and so I can easily re-spray if needed.

In my opinion it was an average deodorant it does have quite a pleasant smell when first applied but I had to reapply it at least once more during the rest of the day. I also got body odour with this deodorant especially while at work which made me feel very self-conscious and stress more which in turn made me sweat and smell more.

I am really happy with this product as it definitely protects from sweating and all body odour. We've had some really hot days here recently and its great to know your 100% protected when busy and on the go.

One Saturday morning my partner and I decided to take the hot rod on a cruise... we set off early in the morning so we're sweltering in the heat from the sun and the big V8 engine by the time we got home in the early afternoon on a 30+ day.. I was well overdressed for the heat and funnily enough the only place on my body that didn't feel like it was dripping with sweat was my underarms LOL!!

Nivea most certainly has your back and now you can stress less with zero sweat!!

P.S No white marks either!!

The test sample arrived just before we left for a week in Taupo, we struck very hot weather which was a good test and with a very active dog to walk daily and even better test of a personal deodorant. It lived up to expectations although as a rule I use a roll-on and would most likely purchase this in that form.

The packaging and overall look of this product is beautiful, but the actually product isn't so good.

This deodorant promises 48hour protection from perspiration, and really it can only last about 6 hours in the New Zealand summer heat. That's while wearing a high school uniform though - maybe it would be different while wearing something lighter and airier.

It has a nice scent, which is always good! The scent only lasts for an hour or so though.

I would use this product again but only because it's a deodorant, and because it moisturizes my underarms nicely.

Was very interested to try this product as usually I cannot tolerate aerosol products. I also use a fantastic roll-on from a rival company which promises - and delivers - 48-hour protection, so I was curious as to how the Nivea product would stack up.

The upside? Easy to apply, gave me no rash unlike other aerosols I've tried, a great and subtle fragrance (slightly metallic but that's the zinc), no white marks on clothing, and no body odour at all which is brilliant.

The downside (and for me, unfortunately, a dealbreaker)? I still perspired. Admittedly, with no odour, but after about six hours in the summer heat, I had wet patches under my arms which is a big no-no for me. Now this may be an application error, so I will try the roll-on version as it may have better results for me.

Meantime though, I'm going back to my plain old (cheaper) Mitchum. It's reliable.

Have always used roll on deodorant as have found aerosol were never as good but after using this one I am sold!! It really does what it says. Found the perfume a little different but now used to that as well and love the pressure of the spray coming out also a good size for handbag, gym bag etc.
