NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

I am an incredibly heavy sweater. Don't know why, but even when I'm just hanging around at home in winter my underarms will be like water. Because of this the deodorant didn't really do anything for me but I'm sure if you did not sweat as heavy as me it would work just fine. I don't really understand how a topical products can combat stress sweating which comes from within obviously but oh well.

I found that this product did do what it said it would do in terms of 24 hour protection which is also a bonus. I tend to have sensitive skin when it comes to spraying on deodorant however with the Nivea Stress Protect I did not experience any stinging or discomfort which was great. It is also a fast drying deodorant so you can put your clothes on without stains straight away. My only negative point on this product is that the scent smells nice at first but throughout the day adopts a lite smell of fake tanning lotion which I am not particularly fond of. Non the less this is a worthwhile product to use as it is long lasting so you don't need to worry and it is affordable.

By chance I was already using a Nivea brand deodorant when this trial began. While the smell is appealing it didn't seem to do any better if a job than the deodorant I was already using. On a day where I wasn't very active I was very dry but on a day where I was quite warm and doing a significant amount if walking I still sweated.

After not being chosen for the trial team for this, i saw it was on special at my supermarket, so i decided to trial it myself. The smell wasn't fantastic.. not bad... just not my thing. And it didnt last very long on a really hot day. On just an average day, not too hot, it worked fine but on those really hot muggy days we've been having, it only last about 4 hours and i hate having to re apply deodorant frequently throughout the day. It was quite a gentle deodorant. It didn't sting my underarms after shaving and didn't leave that slimy texture under my arms. I dont think i would buy this product again because the whole stress protect thing didnt work. it was no different to my normal every day (and cheaper) deodorant.

Sorry, but I do not like this product much. When I put it on, I get over gassed with the fumes that come out of the can. I'm not really a great fan of aerosol deodorants, and I think it's because of the fumes going up my nose lol. Afterwards, the smell is pleasant but doesn't last more than a few hours. I don't feel as protected as I do with other deodorants.

So there are a few things i liked about this product and a few things i didn't like. Firstly i liked that it didn't leave a powdery substance on my underarms like some other aerosol deodorants have done in the past and it is a lovely fragrance. I didn't like how powerful the fragrance is...my partner even commented on it., its really strong. And secondly its really hard to wash off and i found it left a sticky film on my razor after i cleansed and shaved, pretty much clogging my razor so bad its now in the bin. When it comes to its performance on wetness or deodorizing i cant really comment as i don't have problems or experience much of either of these even on the hottest busiest of days. Just lucky i guess. Over all its nice but i wont be purchasing it again due to the intensity of the fragrance and being unable to wash the stuff off at the end of the day.

If you're going for an interview or meeting the boyfriends parents then I think that's the only time it's needed.

It's just an average deodorant and certainly does not last 48 hours that's for sure. Although it does smell nice, I wouldn't buy it just because of that. Not worth your money unless you stress easily.

I was keen to try this deoderant, especially as i had a very stressful day approaching! Put it to the test, and im not sure if it was because it was a hot day, but it didnt "stop" the sweat, or make me any less stressed lol Just a typical aerosol deoderant
