NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

I liked this deoderant, has a lovely smell and doesn't stain any clothes! It did provide protection against any odour (yay!) however, I have to say that as for being a protector against stress perspiration - It didn't work for me in that capacity.

When I first started using this I thought the smell was really lovely and fresh but as I continued using it it grew to be very cloying and a bit too strong. I don't know if that was because I was applying the aerosol too heavily as I'm used to roll-on deodorants or if it is quite strong-smelling. It is a good, standard long-lasting deodorant. However, it does bill itself as 'extra protection for stressful situations' and I found it didn't measure up to that claim. While I was wearing it I did experience a few stressful situations involving physical pain, intense concentration and urgency that resulted in a wash of sweat and resulting body-odour. The Nivea Stress-Protect didn't seem to deal with this any better or worse than my usual deodorant. For me, it lives up to its claim of lasting 48 hours but not to its claim of being a stress-protect deodorant. The disclaimer I put on this review is that I'm used to using roll-on deodorant so maybe reviewing an aerosol deodorant wasn't a fair comparison because I may have been applying it incorrectly - i.e. maybe too heavily in one area and to sparingly in another. I guess this makes it sound like I've got giant armpits but hopefully those reading this will know what I mean!

I don't usually like changing my deodorant and if I do, I usually stick to neutral, 'fresh' smells. At first I thought this smell was quite strong but realised although it was stronger than I was used to, I liked it. At one stage my boyfriend even thought it was perfume I had sprayed and complimented me. I'm not a really sweaty person and don't do a lot of exercise so can't say if it would work in more intense 'sweaty' situations but it worked great for me. I think the claim that it protects you for 48 hours is a little pointless as most people use deodorant daily.

Being quite a sweaty person (gross, I know) I was quite hesitant about this product as i have found in the past that aerosol deodorants last about an hour on me before I can actually smell myself sweating, which is not nice in any situation! With this deodorant I was actuallly pleasantly surprised. I found that it lasted a good 5/6 hours before I would need to apply again. For the sweatier person such as myself i would say that this is perfect for a day where you are not doing a lot and wont be working up much of a sweat, and for this purpose I have already purchased the full size. But for a day where you would be doing more streniuos activity I would choose another product. I also really enjoyed that it didnt leave those annoying white deodorant marks on any of my clothes and also had a very good neutral smell.

I used the Nivea Stress Protect Aerosol everyday until it was finished. Did it deliver, Yes it did, it was easy to use ,non staining, pleasent fragrance, worked all day at work and even after my 1 hour bike ride after work, was still working, I was very impressed and whould I use this product again, Yes I would.

Awesome!!! One application in the morning after a shower and it lasts all day!!! no need to reapply even with the auckland hot weather lately. Love it!!!

I really liked this product. The key things I like about it were: pleasant smell, didn't leave white marks and very good protection against sweat and odour

My problem was I had a slight allergy to it. Made me very itchy under my arms which made me feel uncomfortable, apart from that it was great.
